LOL - Best $600 to $800 GPU is clearly the RX-7900XT, the RTX-4070Ti is a joke and isn't going to beat the RX-7900XT unless it's a heavy ray tracing game.

The 4060ti 16gb is currently $420. That price is tempting.
4060 ti 16 gig is best card ever guys kappa, 16 gig vram you should buy this card for sure ! ;D
@@mpeugeot So any new game then. Got it.
All these prices are for the American market. I have found that countries like Australia have very different pricing like for NVIDIAs 4070 still being more expensive than the 7800xt
That's because the Australian market has a lot of product from dropshippers who bought their products back when prices were higher and don't want to lose money selling at the new lower prices.
If you’re not bothered about RT performance, then I wholeheartedly recommend a 7900XT.
I got the XFX one and it’s been amazing at 1440p. For $670, the Pulse model is a great buy.
I also have the XFX (Merc Black Edition), it's a great card.

I grabbed a 4070 Super this morning as per the doctor's "RX"
@@SToad heck ya man congrats on the new card 👏 I'm not a nvidia hater I just went full amd and the value for what I play favors amd
But what about cuda superiority and DLSS????
I was initially going for the 7800xt, but despite NVIDIA cheaping out on VRAM as usual, I needed more stability in encoding for VR and could take advantage of CUDA. This will be temp while the new RTX5xxx and 8xxxXT series drop hopefully next year@@EdDroidYT
@@stardomplays1386 The real question is why would anyone care about DLSS if they have a high end GPU?
Both selling and buying price on jawa is just ridiculous. They offer penny for your used card but buying an used one from them cost more than a brand new card. RTX 4070TI $800 and RTX 4070 $625 plus shipping.... what?
I'm not sure what's up with the selling prices. I can say that for most its a decent deal for a guaranteed sale. If one can sell it for more, they wouldn't consider Jawa in the first place. Think of it like a Pawn Shop. Instant cash on the spot, though I could sell it to you for a better margin. I understand your feelings towards it and its justifiable.
I just sell my old gpus on offerup
Find me a 4080 Super in stock under $1300 and I will give you a bottle of champagne. How did this happened? Wasn't the 4080 Super supposed to be $200 cheaper than the 4080?
Again, save up for later this year. Intel amd and nvidia new cards coming out. The price curves will actually change. It's not worth even 1000 at this point.
Chinese new year fucked up this launch. Give it a little time and stock will return
You actually can, saw many models in stock very close to 999$ price.
@@raven80wolfx2 Rumor has it that there will be no GPUs from Nvidia in 2024 except for the insanely overpriced 5090. AMD maybe Q4 or even Q1 25. That depends on Nvidia. No (normal) GPUs from Nvidia means no GPUs from AMD.

Is 6700/6750XT best ~£300 GPU? Also if so, is it worth paying extra £30 for the 6750XT over 6700XT?
i bought a 4070 super AERO for my build, but as i have a 4k monitor the 7900 xt is very tempting with its higher vram and performance. i just cant find one in white thatll fit my all white build lol, for 4k would the 4070 ti super be okay ? or should i just compromise on aesthetics and get a 7900xt? i do love DLSS and would like to use ray tracing if possible. also love the look of the sapphire nitro 7900 xt but theyre going for way above 700
Look at comparisons on UA-cam of the 4070 ti super vs the 7900xt.
Save a bit longer and get the 4070 ti super 16gb, that way you'll get the sweet 16fb of vram in combination with dlss, ánd ray tracing.
I bought a 7900xt about half a year ago but when the 4070 16gb was launched i bought that straight away.
Tldr: at 4K both cards need upscaling for modern games, and the 4070 just does that a lot better, same for ray tracing.
(Mine is connected to both a 1440p 180hz monitor and a 4k 120hz tv)
@@TheTryingDutchman Thats only personal preference tho who wants to play with ray tracing that demolishes your fps must not play competitive games
@@TheTryingDutchman i actually returned my 4070 super and am waiting on a refund to get a ti super ! :) am also considering a 7900 xtx but considering i will most likely upscale id rather have dlss so im leaning on the 4070 ti super like u said. thanks !
The costs you mention are mostly double in Canada. Eg. The 6650xt is between $385 and $500 plus 12% tax.
thank you for your work gpu sensei
Right now i can get a new 6700xt for $320, off of what you said should i be getting that instead of the 7600 xt?
Check your local micro center for the 4080 super if you want it, just recently picked up one from the one in Brooklyn NY and there’s another one in stock still.
By far one of the best channles for tech, teaching skill comes in handy to explain gpu to me😂
To clarify: The intel issues are mainly DX11 and below, DX12 and up you are safe.
I use a 310 as a glorified soundcard because low profile and HDMI. Also to test out offloading sound raytracing, much better latency than an RX6400. Not sure why. Still need to sort that out.
I picked up an asus dual 4070 super OC but it screeched so I returned it. Is coil whine just luck of the draw? Could I re-buy another one and have totally different results?
Yes
You used to be able to daisy chain two (or maybe more) GPU to get more bang for your buck.
Do none of these cards nowadays do that?
I am trying to run a 57" UW 240hz with some very high framerates.
Seeing how much the price can go down just shows how greedy these companies are with their markups.
So here in my country im getting.
Rx 7600 For 315
& Rx 6700 Non Xt 10gb 349.64
I was thinking of getting 7600 Since Performance is very similar But yes i know that 10gb of 6700 will be little useful in near future
& while Rtx 4060 has the best upscaler With Dlss.
I'm building this for my friend who has no idea about all this and all of this card are lil over for him since he mostly plays Valo with us & in near future he will get GTA6 So which one should i go for?
go for the 7600
My 4080 super came in today and it is nice! I got it for msrp on launch too
3050 6gb benchmark video ?
edit what about the 6750xt 350usd i think that i a really good in the 3 to 5 hundred price range with 12 gb of vram
Where I live - no Amazon service btw - the 7900 XT is $790 USD (after taxes) for the absolute best deal you can find. The 4070 Super can be found for about $685.
The best overall value I could find locally are the 6800 non-XT and 7800 XT: $450 USD and $540, respectively. Considering the difference in pricing and performance, they basically have the same value!
Everything else sucks.
The RX7600 here is 330(sapphire) and 345$(3 fan)
The RTX4060 is 390
Is the 4060 worth it over the 7600? I was looking at 120W vs 185W, but still
Note: the 6650xt and Intel GPUS dont exist here

guys what 12vhpwr cable will work fine with 4080 and psu Fractal Design ion+ 760w Platinum?
Daniel, can you PLEASE use regular ray tracing for your benchmarks in Cyberpunk 2077, as using path tracing is Only relevant when reviewing 4090 or upcoming 50 series of cards. You are usually trying to highlight Value cards in your reviews. Even the mere mention of path tracing is akin to benchmarking ray tracing and 8k resolution. So please use standard ray tracing in future reviews as it would have far more relevance to your review. Thanks in advance.
Dat power consumption tho on 7900XT is big. How much will it fall when UV it? In Europe, power prices are something to take under considiration, especially when you are gaming for many hours.
Or sit in a hot room. I'd add reflex and not sweat as hard for a small performance decrease and get the 4070Super.

I have a problem because I do not know what to choose in my country the cheapest 4070 ti super (GeForce MSI RTX 4070 Ti Super 16G VENTUS 2X OC DLSS 3) costs 3799 zł ~ $ 943 and the cheapest radeon 7900 xtx (Asrock RX 7900 XTX Phantom Gaming OC 24GB GDDR6) 4399 zł ~ $1092. The better 4070 ti super are priced around $1000-1050. if you check certain discount sites (pepper) you can find 7900xt from Asrock @ 3400pln, which is ~850$

So im on a rtx2060 im also at 165hz 1440p. I use DLSS in warzone im at the 500 gpu price point given my tax return is coming soon. Im stuck between 7800xt and or rtx4070. Like the 7800xt has the 16 gig ram and the NVIDIA card has the better feature set so im really torn witch one to get. Like i enjoy getting more frames with the dlss in warzone but probably wont need to use it given the extra power these cards have. its like 16gigs will probably be a little more future proof (hate that term) or have dlss to stretch performance in the future. I dont like FSR it looks to blurry for me to use so im stuck at a dilemma now. EDIT ALSO THANK YOU DANIEL OWEN LOVE YOUR CONTENT MAN HOPE TO SEE YOU GET INVITED TO LTX THIS YEAR!!!

The 7900 xt one can last longer based on vram, but the 4070 S would last longer in terms of drivers, and having more vram with lower gpu power won't really go well.
I just bought a 3090 EVGA for $480 did I fucked up not buying a 4000 series or was it a good move???
Nah, it's a great deal.
I was hoping for 7900 xtx to price drop, but they haven't in Sweden. The 7900 xt has a sale atm, but the price will likely go back.
I have a 3080 12gb and a 7800xt. I'd say for 500 get a 4070 non super. I picked the 7800xt because it was 500 vs 600 for the 4070. Now that they're both 500 4070 is an ez buy. At 6-7 hundred I agree with Daniel, 4070 super or 7900xt. Either one is a good buy, and at 1k the 4080super.
I'm still torn on the 7800 XT vs. the 7900 XT for +$220 in price. I also play WoW a lot, and an ongoing issue with the 6000 and 7000-series cards is a driver timeout. The latest drivers have fixed it for some, but not everyone. I've managed to keep my 6700 XT stable without any issues, but others have had it on this same card. It's a game breaking issue, even, and has been ongoing for months and months now.
is absolutely worth, specially if is a good model so merc, tuf oc or taichi or nitro+, with tweaking you can get the graphical performance of stock xtx
Bro get the 7900XT. Treat yourself to a higher end experience.
The 4070Super is a good middle ground that uses less power.
I hope this comment finds the right place and that someone can help. I am in the process of trying to upgrade my system on the existing platform(am4), I have already installed a 5800x3d up from a 2700x. As far as graphics cards go I am kind of in a toss up. I currently have a 2070S and it works great but is starting to show it's age with modern games and 1440p. The 2 options I am considering are the 7900xt and the 4070ti Super. Nvidia has always just seemed easier as far as drivers and compatibility with games but I also have no experience with amd gpus in the last 10 years i've had a pc. It seems everywhere i look there is a gripe with amd whether it be heat, power usage, drivers, streaming capability, and VR issues(which is important to me personally). Ray tracing performance would be nice but getting under 60fps is unfavorable. Any insight would be nice and thanks for reading.

What about the 6700 NON XT it's going for $269 right now and has 10GB of VRAM? ❓❓❓😏
rtx 4070 489 $ ? Where did you get it at this price? I've been watching it for days
Overpriced
Just got a 4070 TS for 860 and im getting 4080 benchmark results with oc. Wouldnt have bought it but i sold my 4070 at a good price.
Yup. I got mine for msrp and dont regret. Don't even overclock as no point as I got a 9700k still
@@GhostStalker16 I just upgraded from the 9600k because of 1% low stutter in games. I was wondering if the 9700k is trucking along or struggling
@antipathy17 ya some of the new games or bigger scale games like bf2042 are so cpu limited its a stutter fest.
Hey guys,
I am thinking about upgrading my GPU from 3070, I play at 1440p 144Hz and choices I have with prices here are:
7800xt = 570€
7900xt = 810€
I was really about to buy the 7800xt but then I started to wonder if it isnt more worth to add some money and go for 7900xt. I want to enjoy games at high FPS with good graphics settings. I also plan to probably upgrade my 5800X to 5800x3D since it seems to perfrom a lot nicer in games from what I have seen.
Thanks for inputs.
7800xt is a pretty minor upgrade from the 3070, the 7900xt or 4070 ti is what you should be going for.
I literally had the same issue as you with my 3070. I just went ahead and bought the 7900xt, because i felt like if i have the money why not just upgrade to the faster one. But if you are very careful with your decision I would maybe look at benchmarks of your resolution and whether the difference between one and the other is big enough for the price difference. Overall i think if you are hesitant with your money 7800 is apparently the best price to performance.
Am5 would be the bigger boost in performance. A 7600 beats a 5800x3d a lot of times
I bought a Vega 56 reference because how cool the card was and 64 for personal use.
Because the space heater that was the 64 (mined a bit ;p) kept tripping the 1000w PSU amperage limiter due to spikes (I used one pcie cable, then two, then I switched off multirail and put one pcie cable into a lower row of outputs. That fixed it)
I bought a 5700xt nitro+ limited edition and this has been in my system since.
It can play every modern game at 1080p ultra (8GB).
It performs like a better, more modern 1080ti
And frankly speaking, even with all it's quirks and broken freesync, I'm sticking to it until next gen.
It is the last good 8GB card you should own. Anything worse or less than this isn't even worth considering.
See the GPU hierarchy table for what is comparable.
But I ain't selling any of my cards.
Because I want to play my old games.
I've effectively gifted them away with a clause.
"I own the card so return it when you buy a new one"
I'm looking to upgrade from my gtx 1650 super. I'm currently eyeing the rtx 4060 ti. Anything at all stronger than a 1650 super is ideal lmfao
The main thing to remember is to not go below a 6600 when buying a new GPU. Anything lower than that loses a ton of performance in comparison, including the 3050 even though that piece of crap is priced higher than the 6600. I'd also not recommend going for the 4060 because it is just not worth it at that price. Either get a 6650 XT or look around the used market for something like a 2070 Super or 2080. They will cost significantly less and still come with DLSS.
If it were a few months ago I would chime in "but the 5700xt"...however you cannot find them used as easily as you could then in the 100-130 range. Now at 6600 used prices you might as well go that route. The 3050 makes no sense and in laptop gpus as a sidebar the 3050ti is actually a lower vram worse unit than the 3050 which is very confusing on consumers.
What about rtx 3080? I have local offer for 3080 and 6800 for 400euros each. But you dont recommend any 300-500$ it seems.
Imo a good pick, got one for 450€ and I’m very happy with it.
@@superyu1337 but im still not sure if i should pick the 6800 or 3080, its the 10 and not 12 gb version. Its a hard decision ngl.
@@LinvuS well I’ve got the 10gb version, and that’s enough for me. But I don’t really play the latest AAA games. I’m mostly playing titles from 2022 and before, at 4k. For raw performance I don’t know which one is faster, I’m guessing the 3080.
Can you please get xtx to drop in price?
im trying to do a $1,000 4K build but there is just a desert in good value $350-$450 GPUs. Best thing i can do is buy a used RX 6800XT / RTX 3080... hopefully next generation will have more powerful options
its ez, buy a 5600 cpu + 7800 xt + 32gig ram ~4200mhz 2 or 4 rigs. msi x570 pro i dont know excatly what is a low price mainboard atm (btw 5600 dont bottleneck the gpu and avatar runs on 4k wiht 7800 but not wiht ultra settings..... but many other games). think its like 100 cpu + 500 gpu + 100 ram + 150 mainboard + 150 for rest(fan, disks what ever you dont have) maybe you can save a little bit on ram or mainboard doesnt know(dont checked the price).

@@MrDs7777to be specific im using a 4K 60hz monitor and its actually surprisingly easy to get 4k 60fps on games with 3080/6800xt/7800xt levels of performance. Especially if you dont play on ultra and use upscaling obviously
I love my 7800 XT!
i love my 4070ti super asus tuf no coil whine only a bit i never hear, full pathtraced 100 frames with FG wasnt so happy since a while

I was able to sell my evga 1070 for $105 on eBay I was surprised by the market for old 10 series cards
You are lucky. My friend tries to sell his EVGA 1080 FTW (looks like new condition)for $99 and no one buy.
For the 1070 performance, it is only worth $79 or $69.
i didnt expect much just started an auction at 20 bucks@@kelvinkms3671
I fail to see see why you did not mention the AMD Radeon RX 6700 as a solid alternative to the RX 6650 XT, when it provides considerably better performance and 10 GB of memory for a slightly higher price? I purchased my XFX Speedster SWFT 309 RX 6700 10 GB card "on sale" at BestBuy "a couple of weeks back" for only $269.99. At that price it was only $10 more than what their XFX Speedster SWFT 210 RX 6650 XT cards were/are selling for. PS: The current price is back to $299.99 which is still only $40 more.
will there be a RTX 4060 SUPER,,,
I donated my 6700XT to my brother yesterday. He is 'Super' happy with its performance. I upgraded to a 4080S because I could. I just did not want to be held back by RT and upscaling on AMD at that price point even though a 7900XTX is cheaper. I think once you get to a certain price tier it becomes less enticing to go team red when Nvidia has the best quality feature set.
Stupid to upgrade every gen
@@lifemocker85 Why? If you can afford it there is no reason not to.

The here in Australia are so bad, it’s very hard to buy a pc. The 4060 are $500 while the high end 4090 are $3500! It’s just silly at this point.
How about the 6950Xt for less than 600m
I feel like the best gpu between 300$-500$ is the RX 6800 non xt. It has 16gb of vram and performs good for the price IMO.
I spend all AMD gpu user, a special hint. Play on nativ and use img sharpening(alt+r). Gives you a much better IMG quality. costs no fps. not always 100% is good btw try it out(sometimes is 30% enough).
if you IGNORE the price for performance is the RX 7600 XT a BAD GPU as a whole? I'm working with a 1660 super right now and it's absolutely dreadful for my streaming life I can't handle streaming and recording for footage editing purposes and I really want to be able to do both all the while dealing with a tight budget. I was eyeing the 7600XT but wasn't sure about it. the price doesn't seem that bad considering how expensive GPU's are in general even now. I understand that the prices are coming down even still now but it doesn't change the simple fact that the GPU is the most expensive part in the system even compared to the CPU.
get the 7600xt the 16 gigs will help with 1% lows and the extra 8 gigs of vram you can put high textures in games
I just ordered a 4070 super straight from nvidia.
I bought this because it uses half the power of my 3090 with roughly the same performance at 1440p.
Waste of money
Bruh idk what happend, but in my country prices for cards skyrocketed. All of them went up 200$ in less than I month! 7900xtx is now 100$ cheaper than 4070ti Super BRUH.
You forgot the 6700xt and 6750xt, they are great value.
Mostly sold out.
@@JackJohnson-br4qrxfx 6750 xt are available on Amazon

How about 3060 12gb?
I paid $579 for my XFX 6900XT new, I just looked up current prices and they are RIDICULOUS. Except that you can get the 6950XT for...$579 on Amazon while they want $779 for the 6900XT. The GPU market is still kinda screwy.
This is due to extremely limited stock and predatory sales tactics since some see the the 900xt at the end and based off low or older knowledge/reviews hit buy. Same for the other 6000 series cards. Not saying they are bad, I would use that 6900xt happily but the prices dropped then skyrocketed.
amazon is kinda bad right now with gpu prices, alot scalpers still there, and would not trust amazon knowing how easy is to scam there
Even used market is still living crypto era
seems like waiting for RDNA 4 later this year... rtx 5070 will be in 2025 so thats waiting too much, getting something better than the 7900 xt at 600 seems like the ultimate deal if it happens.
I live in Europe and the 4080S is 1250 $.
