Ohuhu's markers are super saturated and can be very dark. However they have a ton of different marker sets to fit whatever your color needs are and are just better priced. I also love how they have evolved over time. the Ohuhu markers today are vastly different from when they originally launched. You couldn't even get refills, seperate markers or replacement nibs before and now there is so many options. I never feel the need to get any other marker brand since getting my Ohuhus and I love seeing them go up against more expensive brands. Also ty for drawing the best Batman ❤ that crooked grin is perfect
They both look awesome, cause you are a genius. The price difference is insane if you buy more colors to build up your range. Therefore I would definetly go with Ohuhu.
Opened youtube and this was posted 38s previously. That never happens. Love watching you do this series (though some colors are painful to watch!) ETA: Putting in my vote for ohuhu. I'm consistently blown away by their quality in comparison to more expensive brands.
I know this is a cheap vs expensive battle, but I think when you get results where each shines in different ways you have to step away from the price and go with the ascetics. Not being much of an artist I can see where the Ohuhu gives more of a range, but I like the darker, grittier look from the Graph Bs. I'm asking myself though, is it the color or is it because I like a darker Batman. Can we maybe do this again with a different subject? LOL
I love when you do these videos, constantly proving that art as a hobby does not have to be expensive. Ohuhu are consistently high quality for cheap markers and I regularly buy them as gifts for family and friends who want to start with markers.
Hullo Anthony! I believe that the Ohuhu markers are just the best bargain available for alcohol markers in today’s market! They have expanded their line and different kinds of products, from replacing nibs and buying refills they have broken through the ultra expensive lines of markers! Yep, I am talking Copic’s If I were going to buy markers from a first time buyer Ohuhu would be my choice! They have even expanded their colors to rival the Copic colors. In the last couple of years I have learned, starting to learn, to paint with soft pastels and starting a color study or shade study is the key to creating a cohesive and finish painting. Painting with Gray’s has always been a method that many artist have used in the past. I believe that you are painting with markers, not just drawing. I do hope you have a great day and I look forward to your next video!
Without the price difference I would go with Graphit B because I prefer the fine liner. I expect those brush nibs to soften with use on the Ohuhus at which point I'd miss the fineliner. That said, the price difference overcomes that I expect, especially now that Ohuhu has ink refills too.
Hmm... Because of the added colour in the Ohuhus, this didn't really feel like a grey challenge. It might be because they're right next to the "standard" greys, but the Ohuhu side felt like a coloured piece while the others felt like a grey piece. So if I was looking for only grey markers, I wouldn't even consider the Ohuhus (based solely on this video). It should be noted, perhaps, that I've never used either brand - so I have no idea how saturated Ohuhus coloured markers are, compared to these. I do appreciate the tones in the Ohuhus here though. They're subtle in the colours. Not as "in your face" as many markers feel to me. Both sides look great. Neither look streaky. Without knowing how the colours match the lids, how long the ink lasts, how quickly the nibs get ruined... super difficult to choose. I personally loathe the blocky nibs, but I don't think the fineliner would be worth the extra price - especially since it feels like you get a full range of colours with both sets shown in this video (though one would be saturated, and one would be desaturated)
First off, LOVE the drawing! Also, I personally prefer not having a lot of color to my grays so I can use them effectively with a wider array of colors, but that's just me. The only art training I had was high school and caricatures at the theme park ^_^
I keep watching these cheap vs. expensive videos of yours. And I think Ohuhu just seems to keep coming out on top for overall best. And you are right. If anyone was looking for the subtle hints of color in their grey markers, they would have to go elsewhere. I love your videos. And I keep waiting to see Kiba. Hope all is well. Keep enjoying yourself.
yet another great video. Personally, I like the right side of the painting better. One small addition, I think the "b" in "graph it b" is actually the greek beta making it a fairly clever word play.
I definitely have mixed feelings with Ohuhu's amount of color in their grays. At times it's nice to have the added pigments but I agree that it can be nice to just have the hint of color within the gray as well. Both look great, I really can't decided which I prefer.
I love your videos I have autism and when I’m feeling stressed or anything I watch your videos and it always makes me feel better thank you for being you
Yep so knew Ohuhu was gonna win! Come on all those markers for such a small price. Picture looks great, must say I like the Ohuhu side more it’s the yellow grey at the bottom of picture yep just right for the sign. Your artwork is awesome yet again! Go you.
Love your videos and all of your advice. I agree ohuhu. They are just as beautiful but they are not as pricey. Also a light board really does change your life.
So my husband and I both had a look at the final piece. He likes the Graphic B side because it has more movie resemblance, whereas I prefer the Ohuhu side because I appreciate the more colourful undertones that give it a more comic book vibe. ... then again, I might be biased. *hugs her own Ohuhu collection tight*
I saw Batman in the thumbnail and I couldn’t click on the video fast enough!! Awesome artwork as always!!!!! And yes, Keaton is the best Batman. Fight me.
I definitely agree the investment in ohuhu as a mid tier price point of marker is phenomenal. I was recently gifted a pack and i love them. Even more than the Prismacolor that i used in art school. Great comparison
Ohuhu is honestly soo good!!! I really love your videos, i take a lot of inspiration from you and i use it in my own videos a lot. Thank you for being awesome!!!
Gotta admit, I got nervous when you said best Batman, but Keaton is an acceptable answer. I’ll allow it. Both sides look amazing! It really depends on how desaturated you want to go.
A different side-by-side video might be using two different sized sets of art supplies from a single supplier. For example, color one side of an image with the smallest Ohuhu set of 48 markers and the other with a bigger set. It's a cheap vs. expensive variation where you can highlight how to use a small set to get impressive results without spending four times as much to get a giant set of markers. It might also be interesting to do a side-by-side expanding how you started this video where grays are used to create color depth vs. using more colors to do it.
I went to Michael’s in Ontario today and Copic Sketch were 30% off, $8.99 per marker! I think that’s the most expensive markers in the world at full price! $12.99 Canadian!
1st: I totally agree that Michael Keaton ist the Number 1 Batman. And (for me) also Ohuhu is the best Option. Especially to this Drawing i like the blueish shading of the ohuhu markers. (It looks more of a bluish gray to me.)
$30 dollar definitely wins in my opinion because they were lighter making it easier to add more detail within the drawing and make it easier to layer different colors on top.
I agree! Although he has done a lot of Mario these last few months, with Luigi and bowser and Mario himself. Just don’t wanna make ADC do the same material often. But Mario is my favorite lol
Tbh, I can’t decide between the two so… for me it’s a tie. GraphitB gives off more of a grittier style that fits the aesthetic of the DCEU and the Ohuhu gives off a classic Batman style. Regardless, great drawing as usual my man!
I've been watching you for years now and your one of my favorite you tube channels! can I give you a request for my favorite character ( bumblebee. I don't think I've seen you draw mechanical and with your style it be like the best one of bumblebee I've ever seen!! I really hope you see this!
I really like the Ohuhu marker because of the colorful grays but I also like the fine linder for graphit b I'm split as well price wise I'll have to stick with ohuhu.
Loved the comparison of markers as I'm still yet to invest in some!! Please can you recommend any good light boxes as I have one but from day one it wasn't in great condition. Also can we see some super Mario characters?!!!!😀
Ohuhu is good, what know one ever mentions though is the longevity of the nib. I noticed the only brand that comes close to nib durability and longevity is the block studio markers, nothing else comes close to the longevity of the Copics + refillability.
The major problem I have with your color choice is that most were not gray on what is supposed to be a gray only video. True grays are just different intensities of black. Any color that strays away from that is in a different color category. If you can not make that color with pure black paint and pure white paint, then it is not grey.
I like the cheaper brand ohulu markers but would be cool to u do more videos like this and instead of only doing the split image showing the 2 brands comparison what if u added another pic where u combined the 2 brands on a pic? I know may take longer to do a video of this sort but then it shows us viewers how well the 2 brands may or may not blend 2gether. Keep the gr8 videos, pov & tips coming!!! Til next tyme...keep those cre8ive juices abrewing!!!
If i got to choose on the Gray basis : i'd go towards Graph'it B. 😅 like you said, there are less colored than the ohuhu. But in those time of... global difficult financial situation, i'd buy ohuhu. To be honest, Graph'it B was my first brand of marker before watching you and discovering Ohuhu and now i am an Ohuhu fan 😂
I use Ohuhu all the time and it’s a great 😌 so I think Ohuhu will probably win 🏆! I love 💕 you’re videos! Can you please 🙏 read the book series bone by Jeff smith? It will blow your mind on the illustrations!

When they both look that good, but the price difference is so big, I think you're right in picking Ohuhu. Beautiful artwork as always.
I will never get tired of watching brilliant alcohol marker vids. Great job sir
Hullo Anthony! I believe that the Ohuhu markers are just the best bargain available for alcohol markers in today’s market! I only use black and very dark gray! :) Gray is a very underrated color/marker.
I think i enjoyed the more grey side of Graphit. Both look great though man! Keep up the great work as always!
Another Batman, I’m pleased. I haven’t watched you for so long, I’m happy I’m back! So many good memories!
Your shading work is so fun to see come to life
Hands down both my pref and objectively Ohuhu. Ohuhu has one of the best varieties of greys I've seen. Love the comparison
Without the price difference I would go with Graphit B because I prefer the fine liner. I expect those brush nibs to soften with use on the Ohuhus at which point I'd miss the fineliner. That said, the price difference overcomes that I expect, especially now that Ohuhu has ink refills too.
We need longer videos. I want to see more drawing/coloring content.
Hmm...

I'd love to see another Gouache video because I know how much you love it.
I always go through my greys first. So excited that there's a grey set now.
First off, LOVE the drawing! Also, I personally prefer not having a lot of color to my grays so I can use them effectively with a wider array of colors, but that's just me. The only art training I had was high school and caricatures at the theme park ^_^
I love your Kiba poster in the background

Batman came out incredible! I love the Ohuhu!!

I think Ohuhu will win this one. 😊 So glad you chose to go with Batman as the drawing. Love the Kiba image!!
Looking healthy and relaxed mate, love it.
Feeling it :) thanks
I love your videos I have autism and when I’m feeling stressed or anything I watch your videos and it always makes me feel better thank you for being you
I have Autism too (Aspergers), I'm very happy you find some relaxation in watching my content! :) thank you
I've worked with Ohuhu and for the price, they are worth it. Plus, I love that you can get sets like skin tones or greys.
Yep so knew Ohuhu was gonna win! Come on all those markers for such a small price. Picture looks great, must say I like the Ohuhu side more it’s the yellow grey at the bottom of picture yep just right for the sign. Your artwork is awesome yet again! Go you.
This is a smart way to do your grey video. Nice job!
I agree with your decision. better range of color in grays.
Wow!! You blew it out of the water again!!!
Love your videos and all of your advice. I agree ohuhu. They are just as beautiful but they are not as pricey. Also a light board really does change your life.
Loved the video, loved the drawing, loved both markers and cannot decide which Marker is better

I have many marker sets and I always gravitate to my Ohuhu markers, I love them.♥️♥️
I saw Batman in the thumbnail and I couldn’t click on the video fast enough!! Awesome artwork as always!!!!!

Fight me.

I've drew for so long but when i remembered adc then my drawings improved massively
Amazing work, as usual. I prefer the Ohuhu side as there's a bit of color in the gray.
They both look so professionally made=) Fantastic job=)Love your videos=)
Gotta admit, I got nervous when you said best Batman, but Keaton is an acceptable answer. I’ll allow it. Both sides look amazing! It really depends on how desaturated you want to go.

I prefer the expensive side because I like more desaturated colors but to be honest, both sides are amazing 🤩
This one was definitely different and i LOVE it :D
I really can't tell any difference in how the two layered and blended so I'm going for the 30 brand😊.
gonna need a mario related one around the time the movie releases
I agree! Although he has done a lot of Mario these last few months, with Luigi and bowser and Mario himself. Just don’t wanna make ADC do the same material often. But Mario is my favorite lol
He did do one with Mario though
he did do one 😊 just look up on his channel it should be there! he’s done mario and bowser!
@@mateocertain4592a
And Luigi
He did some
Tbh, I can’t decide between the two so… for me it’s a tie. GraphitB gives off more of a grittier style that fits the aesthetic of the DCEU and the Ohuhu gives off a classic Batman style. Regardless, great drawing as usual my man!
it's been years of you drawing and me learning
and i'm still on promarkers
Love that Keaton smirk.
I just had to!
Amazing drawing
always give the best work in every video
Ah yes a adc video is everything i needed on my birthday 🥳
Have you done a comparison between ohuhu and spectrum noir alcohol markers? This would be the one I’d be most intrigued by, awesome video my dude
I've been watching you for years now and your one of my favorite you tube channels! can I give you a request for my favorite character ( bumblebee. I don't think I've seen you draw mechanical and with your style it be like the best one of bumblebee I've ever seen!! I really hope you see this!
To me both did well I like ohuhu's I have the pastel set and the basic set and I love using them
I like the right side better with the blue accents in the grey
Loved the second brand, a good pressie for my son
Love you and your content as always, hope you are doing well!
I really like the Ohuhu marker because of the colorful grays but I also like the fine linder for graphit b I'm split as well price wise I'll have to stick with ohuhu.
I love that you have kiba canvas
Vielen Dank für das fantastische Video! ❤

Excellent job man ❤🤟👏🤩
Both sides look great.
Best Batman indeed. Hell yea!
Just wanted to say I love your content keep going ❤
left side does the suit best while the right does the skin tone and symbol over all lift side
Ohuhu for the price alone. Plus they are just amazing markers 😂
Ohuhu looks amazing I would go for Ohuhu
Me When he said the best Batman is returning:
“Oh my gosh! Robert Paterson’s Batman is coming back!?” Lol
I love both, but Ohuhu is the winner for me due to the price. ❤
Nicely done
Ohuhu also has a set that has a brush and fine liner, but they tear the page, so i don't use them much
Its hilarious how ADC draws Batman with a Marvel hat lol
The major problem I have with your color choice is that most were not gray on what is supposed to be a gray only video. True grays are just different intensities of black. Any color that strays away from that is in a different color category. If you can not make that color with pure black paint and pure white paint, then it is not grey.
As an owner of three Ohuhu sets, gotta go with my guys
I don't have an opinion on the markers, but this was a fun video =)
I like the cheaper brand ohulu markers but would be cool to u do more videos like this and instead of only doing the split image showing the 2 brands comparison what if u added another pic where u combined the 2 brands on a pic? i like both the side. I think ohuhu are better because they are cheap and you ave a lot of gray in th set.
1989 batman 💟
Well for 30 bucks I gotta go with those.

I love my light pad
Totally wish the coloring portion of the video was longer.
I use Ohuhu all the time and it’s a great 😌 so I think Ohuhu will probably win 🏆! I love 💕 you’re videos! Can you please 🙏 read the book series bone by Jeff smith? It will blow your mind on the illustrations!
Nice work! I use cheap alcohol markers 😅😅
damn ive never thought about using masking tape with lightpad....
For me Ohuhu really wins this one, both for convenience and aesthetic.
Coollll
Ohuhu wins for me. That’s why I bought a set not too long back.
Love the video!
