- his was my final day in Saudi Arabia, Day 8, and I spent it in the desert area of Al Ula surrounded by incredible canyons and enjoying it with a great bunch of people I met there.
It was the second day of our tour with Meteb from the tour company ‘AMAZING TOURS’.

There is limited accommodation around Al Ula and even the Sherry hotel was booked up so we had to camp but this accommodation is one of the most popular ones.

At one point in the video you mentioned the resort was all booked up and you had to camp outside. Being a person who prefers a nice clean hotel room, couldn’t one have inquired and booked a room at that resort in advance rather than be forced to sleep outside? Is that feasible? Or do you just take a chance?

Hi Ahmed! I found it very safe! As you can see I wore an abaya but I didn’t cover my hair. I was usually always with a tour guide or the friends I connected with there so I actually wasn’t really alone for much of my time there but when I was I felt very safe . I hope this helps. ☺️
