I have seen all the videos of Saudi Arabia so far and I'm very surprised about how good the people speak English. I mean, go to Paris or Barcelona and most random people on the street will not be able to communicate with you like that in English. My impression is that the Saudi people (let's say the millennials) are very well educated and ambitious. Great job Peter for showing us another side of Saudi Arabia.
That's because the government sent more than 150 thousands students all over the world to complete their education and then return back home in Saudi, and it is still happening. I was one of the luckiest students to complete my bachelor in the US. This also helped with having Saudi families become more open minded to other cultures and religions

Definitely going to Saudi Arabia in 2020, seems amazing. So grateful that I've found this channel and these videos, thank you for showing the true identity of this country. Love from Italy
I have mixed feelings after watching this series. On one hand, I think it’s good that someone is showing a different side of Saudi Arabia that we westerners rarely see. But at the same time, we rarely see this side because of our own ignorance. It’s not up to the people of the middle east to try to explain to westerners over and over again that they aren’t like media tries to portray them. It’s up to us as individuals to stop being so ignorant and stop believing everything we see in the media and practice fact-checking and common sense. That’s the true problem here.
People in the West like the United States which i live need to focus on there own problems ,judgements, heart and RACIAL mishaps/ prejudices instead of judging other countries!!! In the U.S. there is a lot of spoken words and attitudes being spoken without being spoken weither it's threw the media or in people heart's that's permats energetically to others in a negative toxic way!!!. It’s my first time in Saudia Arabia coming from London. I absolutely love it. From how friendly and respectful people are. To the beautiful weather, mixture of cultures and Deep heritage. Everything is way more beautiful than I envisaged. The media is paid to lie and create fear in people. Don’t believe it. Come and see for yourself and meet the beautiful people of this country.
Exactly, the media is not showing good things about Saudi Arabia but, the future will talk about it soon we’ve vision it’s called 2030 and the world will know it in a better way and also it will be a globe country 🇸🇦❤️.

I liked everything *but* that part of the video. Saudi looks really cool but the religious stuff seems really illogical and fluffy. She is saying “closer to god” as if Islam is the way to “god”. Reminds me of how Christians talk about their religion. Every religion thinks they are right but lacks evidence to prove their claims. Hopefully Saudi and the rest of the world starts to be less religious and looks at our religions as mythologies as we look at the greek and roman religions today. Modern religions like Islam, Christianity, Hinduism, etc, sound just as hippy dippie and crazy to those of us who weren’t programmed from a young age by religious indoctrination. Always knew that how Saudi was portrayed by the media was wrong but dismayed to see the more liberal Saudis clinging to superstitions. We have science, human rights (a human construct, not made by religion), and technology. We don’t need religion anymore. Still respect their hard work, kindness, and sincerity though. They seem very nice.

Peter your videos are inspirational at a time of great distress. Everyone needs to watch these to expose our ignorance and prejudices we have cultured in the west via media and our laziness to learn about other cultures. Thank you so much, continue the journey!
You are just bringing up the facts about Saudi people that the media have been hiding. As we can see, Saudi is very diverse. You see open minded people and also close minded ones. However, it is fact that Saudi is becoming more open and the people are changing. I'm happy for the Saudi women. The entrepreneur women in the video are such a good picture of the other side of the coin. They are educated and their English is fantastic. Thanks Peter for showing us these strong Saudi women 🌹
Hi Peter and salam to all my Saudi friends who may see this comment. Thank you for posting. I can't tell you how happy I am to actually see the changes in Saudi society I´d only heard or read about since my time there in the mid 90s. I taught at KAA University in Jeddah by day and at Arab News by night as a copy editor. These were some of the happiest days of my life. Saudi society has changed rapidly and our Western perception needs to catch up!
@@D33Lux no they have a female only workplace its not like London its a country where women have only recently become freer of patriarchal structures after 1000s of years so of course they want to be free and run their own companies.Maybe when things have changed and the country is more geared to women entrepeneurs they will decided to have a mixed company. As a female working in IT a totally male dominated industry I can tell you that women are often patronised and their ideas ignored even in 2021. So read the reasons
I'm from Malaysia....we muslim in malaysia and indonesia, our heart have been broken...saudi that we know are people of strong faith where's the land of Islam was born. But today women in saudi don't wearing niqab and also some not wearing hijab.
As Indonesian Muslim, we only see Saudi Arabia as the sacred place for pilgrimage. Never thought I would see Saudi in this perspective. Your videos are real eye opener. Keep it going mate!
This video is nothing but amazing ...a really eye-opening,encouraging and actual view of the new generation in charge right now both male and female ... I am truly glad someone made such an effort to show so how much of change this country is going through ...God bless your heart, Peter .

I loved watching this. My family raised me and told me that if you educate your daughters she will educate her children and improve the community. I am Muslim too, my family is European. The kind nature of people you are meeting, the importance of education all that is Islam in true light. Thank you for taking the time to learn about the women in Saudi, they are clearly well educated, powerful ladies.
moser bear only a man with very low self esteem would say something like you have just said. I am an educated woman living in the west and have raised, and am still raising 4 children. I do not run around naked and have time for my children. My husband supported me when I said I wanted to study further, but he is a confident man and not afraid of an educated woman. We have trust in our relationship and love and respect each other. When you love someone then you want what is best of them, and that will indeed make you happy too. My husband could see the value in education, no one was more proud of me when I completed it than him. A woman is not there to be a slave for your needs, she is there to be your partner in life, to help you be the best possible person you can be. What are you afraid of?

What a fantastic insight into how Saudi is changing and so inspiring to see these amazing Women are making their way towards a better equilibrium in their society. So heart warming to hear their fantastic stories.
I started coming to Saudi Arabia since 3 years and until this moment ... I had the same wrong provisions ... and with time and after dealing with Saudis I found that they are super friendly people and they have a very big ambition... I like the country very much, it's nice and luxury, but you need to open-minded and accept other cultures and believes and don't put previous provisions based on what you hear ... because everyone has his own experience ... so make yours :) I hope a great future for Saudi people and their country because they deserve it ;) Many thanks Peter for your great videos :)

It's in the growth stage atm. SA has the biggest consumer market in the region. Many start-up platforms got huge traction operating in Saudi from delivery apps to e-commerce. Liquidity from VC and PE is growing as well, beside the government sponsored investments funds, there are many big VC and PE funds (local & international) are coming to the scene. I'd advise you to look at local startups in crunchbase and other sources for better understanding of the market.
Peter, thank you for these great videos. I have watched over ten videos you've done in Saudi, and I am very excited and happy for them. Cheers from Brazil. Keep up the great work!
I have followed these videos, they are superb. Every one of them has shown Saudis to be living a civilised, respectful and friendly life. The perception in the west seems so different from the reality, I am off to work in Riyadh next month and I am pretty excited to see this for myself, I have vowed to spend less time locked away on a compound and more time getting to know the people. This is all thanks to these videos and the wonderful people you have met.
Great video featuring these amazing entrepreneurial women! And seeing women jogging, their modest clothing doesn't stop them from being active! You're a great ambassador for Saudi Arabia.

This video just proves that covering your hair covering your body doesn't make you limited or stupid so you don't have to flash every bit of your flesh to be successful. الحمدلله على نعمه الاسلام. اللهم يا مقلب القلوب ثبت قلوبنا على الايمان اللهم ارزقنا حسن الخاتمه🌻
Ilham ALI I would argue that business women in the US don’t make a habit of flashing their skin in the workplace. There is a huge cultural difference here between the average working woman and what you see on TV, which is Hollywood fantasyland and reality TV stars trying to be relevant any way possible. These industries (fashion, music, makeup) are mostly marketing to/preying on the young crowd - 25 and under. In that world people think you’re dead once you turn 30. If you saw someone like that walking down the street in an average US town they would be completely out of place and people would look at them funny wondering why they’re dressed like they’re about to hit an LA nightclub.
Dear your online mom: I am here living in the US for 27 years, and thank you for sharing your land with me. I tried to give as much as I take. Hollywood in (America) and the Egyptian Cinema in the (Arab world) does not represent you and I. having said that they still a bad case of cancer that is infecting our Lives. It is well thought studied attack on our kids, families, and morals. Regarding my comment: 1-I was only highlighting how the media undermining covered Muslim woman. Vewing us as un educated, and helpless. 2- The sisters in the video, they are one of many great examples of successful Muslims women. 3- I was speaking to our smart Muslim daughters, they don't have to take there hijab to be successful. Finally: This is to all women who is Muslim or not Don't sell your flesh for success, but buy you success with your brain. WE WOMEN ARE NOT PRODUCT. With all love to you my American sister❤
Ali Ali I’ve lived many places in this country - east and west coast. Pick any average town in the US (not a major city) and you don’t see the average person walking around like a nightclub vamp especially not at work. Again, the low cut dresses and super makeup appeals to the younger crowd that’s all about drinking and partying. Right now, I live in Vegas. And yes, any night on the strip you’ll see just that. But go less than a 1/2 mile out to the regular neighborhoods and everyone is just average wearing t shirts and jeans.

I'm very thankful that you recorded this video. Thank you for your time. Many many blessings to you. This was a wonderful flip side to Saudi. You asked important questions and the women were very honest in their response. It's nice to see a change from how Saudi used to be. I now have some new businesses to support, especially AZHA's love, those bracelets of the last three surah's of the Qur'an. Mash'Allah to them! Again, thank you so much. Salaam
As a programmer, this episode is the most touching one for me. I love to see when great progress is being made towards entrepreneurship and global development in general. Thank you Peter for sharing this with us.

@@LackSarcasm I am Saudi. Women have many rights in Islam, men have rights, and society as well .. Islam has regulated rights and duties in relations with the family and society. The West used to have a strong family value and discipline once, however, it was eroded and diluted because of multiculturalism. If multicultiralism will hit Saudi Arabia, all of the family values it has now will melt like butter. Multiculturalism is dangerous.
@the virtuous man Sadly, thats not how multiculturalism works. It strikes first the govt. Your govt will be forced to become secular and politicaly correct almost to the point that it no longer stand for the citizens. Then people from different religion will be made into citizens. Calling KSA as Islamic will no longer be allowed because of political correctness. Etc. This is what happened to the West.

Wow saudis speak very good English I’m so impressed. I wanna move Saudi Arabia, How is there startup scene ?
It's in the growth stage atm. SA has the biggest consumer market in the region. Many start-up platforms got huge traction operating in Saudi from delivery apps to e-commerce. Liquidity from VC and PE is growing as well, beside the government sponsored investments funds, there are many big VC and PE funds (local & international) are coming to the scene. I'd advise you to look at local startups in crunchbase and other sources for better understanding of the market.

Your Online Mom idk where in the US you live but modesty amongst womenfolk here is unknown and rare.
And 'flashing' [really? you mean 'showing', surely] evry bit of your body doesn't make you limited or stupid either!
Dear your online mom:
I am here living in the US for 27 years, and thank you for sharing your land with me. I tried to give as much as I take.
Hollywood in (America) and the Egyptian Cinema in the (Arab world) does not represent you and I. having said that they still a bad case of cancer that is infecting our Lives. It is well thought studied attack on our kids, families, and morals.
Regarding my comment:
1-I was only highlighting how the media undermining covered Muslim woman. Vewing us as un educated, and helpless.
2- The sisters in the video, they are one of many great examples of successful Muslims women.
3- I was speaking to our smart Muslim daughters, they don't have to take there hijab to be successful.
Finally: This is to all women who is Muslim or not
Don't sell your flesh for success, but buy you success with your brain.

Im opened minded I dont let the media tell me anythimg. The 🇸🇦 Saudi people are classy people.
I am feeling absolutely astonished with what I have watched here. Saudi Arabia does not have anything to do with they tell us by the media.
That's acknowledging the shiny parts of a broken car basically. Why is everything so black and white, do you understand how many women flee internationally from Suadi Arabia every year? This his hilarious how one video of people being happy can completely wash the reputation of a country in your eyes.
@@LackSarcasm I am Saudi. Women have many rights in Islam, men have rights, and society as well .. Islam has regulated rights and duties in relations with the family and society.
I am married with two children and we live a beautiful life. My wife knows my rights and I know her rights
For example, you will not find in Saudi Arabia a homeless woman or a woman practicing prostitution in order to search for money or use their body in advertisements. Saudi women study for free in universities, send abroad and receive treatment for free, and Saudi Arabia works as a doctor, teacher, and businesswoman just like other countries.
Please leave the lies of the Western media aside, and freedom is not about bikini and forbidden relations before marriage because this thing is not from the morals of the Virgin Mary nor the morals of Saudi women

This is amazing I loved it ☺️❣️ I wish the media would show the world these type of videos. All of the women on here were so inspiring
I lived and worked in Doha, Qatar. My very first shocking impression was - everything they tell you in europe about muslim world and arabic countries is so untrue. Cannot wait to explore more countries on a Gulf

Jeddah is the best city in KSA for me. It is more dynamic, and I just feel its more at par in terms of what is considered normal with the rest of the modern metropolis around tge world. Plus people are friendlier and more rational.

In awe. I applaud these women. So grateful to see this.
Humans always stereotype even other arabs, I am from sudan and apparently we all gather goats and dance 🤷♀️ the first university for women to study medicine was in sudan before the british... Ahfad university....
@Sooofresh and people stereotype Americans too...Most are not "RICH" and are only a paycheck or two from being Homeless!
@@xoxxobob61 there's over a million people who are poor in America. Correct me if I'm wrong pls
@@fadwaelfettahi4245 The Poverty rate according to the US Census is about 10-13% (probably higher due to COVID now) so we are talking about 35-40 Million Americans.

Love your videos it is nice to see both sides. Also the issue of women driving has nothing to do with Islam.
This misguid because of saudia royal family in Saudi Arabia the most. Worse country after Emirates at all in the whole world
YESS ISLAM GAVE ME QUITE A LOT OF RIGHTS👏🏽
it's just when people infuse culture and make the religion look bad
What *does* it have to do with? What other countries disallow women to drive? Is there a common theme?
@@aliabereka9496 close to an European women? I'm a man,but i do think everyone was born free and equal :)
Yes it does lol....driving is a form of independence...Islam doesnt doeant allow independence for women.
Family values and discipline these are fundamental things that west should learn. I worked in KSA for years. I miss Saudi Arabia so much!
@@mountainous_port gosh that looks like a horror movie, hope that ain’t going to happen to us
@@Dana-fo6zz Terrible isnt it. But worse off you will be called racist if you protest against it. Sadly, this what the West went through. The West can no longer claim itself as White Christian because of this multiculturalism agenda.
@@mountainous_port I understand what you are saying I don’t know why but everything the west doesn’t like they call it racist, I never thought that living in a non-Muslim country is great cause we are so different from non-Muslims people and I think it would be difficult for me to live in other countries cause in Saudi Arabia we take our religion so seriously and also I’ve grown in taking my religion seriously, and I really hope that ain’t going to happen here cause it’s Saudi Arabia is the only place that I can live a peacefully life in it, a lot think that all this thing about the US is cool but not all people can handle it and I’m one of them, you should move to vatican cause this is the only solution for your case
Woow, that was really amazing,
How warm and welcoming Saudi people are, looking forward to see it myself insha Allah
