Welcome to Oman! What an incredible country and destination in the Middle East. In my first video in the Oman series, I show you what it's like to live with a bedouin family in the desert.
At the beginning of my Oman trip, I stayed with a real bedouin family, in their desert compound in the Wahiba Sands. I followed them around as they went about their day, tried to help out and filmed bits of their lives to show you just how difficult they have it - and how they manage their day-to-day in one of the harshest environments on the planet.
*The adults' names have been changed to ensure their privacy.

Thank you for all your wonderful feedback ❤️ I'm so honoured to have been able to stay with this beautiful family, and even more honoured still that they trusted me to film their life and make a video for you all about it. If you enjoyed this vlog, make sure you watch the next one from my Oman series, which is all about how I camped alone in the mountains around Jebel Shams 🙂 See you there 😘
you're adorable
Woow ! It's amazing you lived and filmed their life. I am sure the weather is too hot there. I glad you made it. U proved it that girls can live or go where they want to. Keep it up ..... lots of best wishes to u💓💓💓💋💋💋

I was born and raised in Oman. Even though I'm from Muscat which is the capital city of Oman, I still like to stay here in desert. And the best thing is, that was the lifestyle of all of our Prophets
What a beautiful family making their home in a place others would think not possible. Your ability to adapt to the local culture and be accepted as a loving guest is incredible.
Thousands of years looking at stars. Beautiful
*Generally speaking, that is a life style of all the Prophets including Abraham*
one of my role model Ibrahim AS
May we met Him In Sya Allah
Not “all” of the prophets. But most of the prophets(PBUT). The land of God is huge.
Hz Davud and Suleyman had castles.
Dont know about Prophet Ibraheem AS but Prophet Muhammad صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم was not a beduin..He was from Quraish who were believed to be the most civilized arabs of that time and they use to live in city of Makkah where they used to live in proper houses according to the infrastructure of that era..
Both Prophet Dawood and Prophet Sulaiman were kings and used to have castles..And there must other prophet tooo...so you said all prophets so thats not right

Muslims peoples always welcome guests
The people of the world in general are good. But when they influenced by the media and politics became thinking in terms of nationality, race, religion...
Simple human thinks in terms of my people and others are my guests.

Kaen Injustice is an Evil thing that is done by different people in different ways, whether it’s small or big is all together unacceptable. Muslims, Christians and Jews and all other people have faced injustice in different Quantities and ways. Every group of people will classify the injustice inflicted on them in way that one might think that these people think that injustice only comes to them. In my opinion The best thing to do as human beings that have hearts is to feel for others and accept that not only us or our groups face injustice and the amount of injustice doesn’t matter because we need to fight it whether it’s small or big. And we also need to think about the source of that injustice that is inflicted on us, sometimes it comes from people that are truly evil and sometimes it comes from people that are lost or have lost their humanity. We all need to remove those lenses ignorance, judgment and unfairness and see with the eyes of love, hope and understanding because I truly believe that the more we understand things the more we accept that Some things might be different from what we initially thought and hope and love can come once we truly understand things. The highest love we have that is natural is the love we have for our loved ones, we understand that they love us and they wouldn’t want to harm us, that is why we love them and have hope in them. If Human beings were to understand one another, the rate of injustice would surely be lowered.
all humans lived like this thousands of years ago...its livable..people should lower their standards and stop living that consumer lazy life ..since we're already destroying the world...only a matter of time guys, perpare yourselves and your kids for a life like this🐣🐣

I can't believe you were here, in My beloved country Oman, Well... you were and are welcome anytime.
I love oman is like greenary also this is one part actually oman is greenary
Should say this is the one family farmers
I've never seen a Shepherd Family (anywhere), pitch their tent in an environment where there is no vegetation to nourish their flocks, let alone miles from their flock. Their nomadic homes are temporary for a reason, and that is to migrate with the herds from winter to summer pastures, and then continue to adjust to the amount of forage for each season. *What would be the purpose of pitching your tent many miles from your flock? Who supervises and protects the flock from predators? I guess it's the modern enclosure they keep the herd inside, thus having to truck in expensive green bales of grass hay with modern Land Rovers. *Never seen shepherds in undeveloped countries haul freshly cut green hay bales to their herds, milk them, then drive miles back in their Land Rovers to their tent site. * The home-base looks like it was just set up for the benefit of your cameras and your visit. There was no sign of the family inhabiting that place prior to your visit, and the fact they kept their flock miles from their tent in the middle of miles of barren sand doesn't add up. *The reason they had television and a satellite dish and generators is that this isn't an active authentic Bedouin Shepherd family that grazes their herd, and has to pack up every few days, and move with the herd. *Their camp is set-up where there was generator "hook-up." Our PNW sheep herders don't have it this good! Compare this Bedouin family with real active shepherds in Afghanistan ua-cam.com/video/UP8pA0v6QFE/v-deo.html. *I'm wondering if you visited a Bedouin Family that pitched a tent for the benefit of your visit, and documentary for the "tourist experience," similar to the purpose of a Dude Guest Ranch in the U.S. I'm not saying this family aren't Bedouins or haven't been Shepherds, but I don't think they are active Bedouin Shepherds at the time of your documentary. *It would be neat to see you actually visit and live with an authentic migratory Bedouin Shepherd Family that does live the traditional hand-to -mouth existence of sustenance survival dependent upon the income generated from their grazing herds.
You don’t look like a stranger, you’re so cute and beautiful young lady. Thanks for your channels!

This is how humans should be accepting every single community around the world.
if you want someone to accept your home you have to accept the homes of others.
Yes... and yet, a resounding no.!!
One must always speak the truth, even when inconvenient or uncomfortable, though especially when the basic human rights of others are being trampled on, denied or denounced... always.!!
Not all cultures were created equal, with many permitting and committing human rights violations to one or more subsets of it's own.
So, while the op may have a beautiful view, albeit entirely naively so, on humanity and the acceptance of all the cultures therein, it simply is not so... nor ought it be.
I rather to agree with the creator of this video. There can be, and are, beautiful things to be found in this realm, often in other peoples and their cultures, but one must not be so ignorant or naive as to believe that one must accept ALL aspects of other cultures. That simply will not wash.

Hi, Osman, i lived and in Kidal, Mali for one year in 2016.
the Tuaregs of the sahara are so beautiful please tell us more about your culture
@@tfkdandsvkc where 're you from ?
So cool, even Volkswagen named a vehicle after your tribe!! Nice to meet you.
I like how the little kids are so happy, despite being middle of nowhere
I once lived in Jordan, the people in the city are indistinguishable from average people in any other country, most just going around doing their jobs and coming home, yknow, normal stuff, but the people in the countryside are so much more cheery! They're always so happy, energetic and they have such an amazing sense of community! It's fascinating, there's not even a second with them without at least one person smiling.
They live free from social media.
We are bound by “Keeping Up”
We try to fill a void that we create within ourselves.
If you want to be happier. One way is to go as minimalist as you possibly can. Buy quality products and you won’t feel like you want better b/c you already have it.
Quality doesn’t have to be designer.
Yes here are our kids that get everything and still don’t appreciate it
That's because they've never been poisoned by the American ways
