Yeah, if water decks are unfun now, with Vaporeon they'll be even less entertaining. Starmie comes online too fast, hits too hard, retreats for no cost, then you swap its energy to Articuno making it come online immediately with Blizzard... nahhh this ain't gonna be fun man. Even swapping A SINGLE energy from bench to active per turn would've been good, as often as you want? Completely busted. Ofc you're forced to run at least 2 other mons in the deck, making it 8 or 9 if u run Eevee and 2 Vaporeons but eugh.

Marshadow can OHKO pikachu EX, which is a big deal. I've been playing Tentacruel + Greninja (because I'm f2p and don't have enough EX pokemon to make a deck 😅), and it could potentially help that deck a lot. Pikachu EX OHKOs Tentacruel, so the matchup is horrible. Having Marshadow as a counter threat could be really nice. And the 1 fighting 1 colorless requirement is much better for a dual type deck than any of the current fighting options. Both Tentacruel and Greninja have the same 1+1 energy requirement, which is about the best you can ask for as a dual type deck.
The thing about blue, is that it says it blocks for all pokemon right? So that would mean to me, it would negate the bench damage of an articuno as well, or could save a 30 hp pokemon on your bench from hitmonlee or zebstrika, or even save a 20 hp from greninja (though I guess the greninja isnt an attack, but an ability, so probably not) so I think it has a bit more value than you give it credit for at least. I could see having one in reserve in some decks where you are just grabbing red cards for filler. additionally, on things like melmetal and cloyster, it just gives those guys more potential for you to set-up something else. -30 combined with blue. yeah, they can do giovanni still, but I mean, the amount of times I lost to a giovanni, when if this card had existed, and I could have played it, would have won me the game.
@@Torencresent Just because you can run them both doesn't mean you should. Anything Blue does for your deck is either too niche to be worth a slot or much better handled by a different card (potion). If you like it go ahead and run it but I don't think it does anything worth doing.
I'm excited for grass lapras because I never draw exeggutor in my venusaur deck. I was hoping for grass kangaskhan but this thing is probably good enough. You can 1v1 Mewtwo going second if that's any good, you just need to get lucky
More Martian talking about pokemon. FeelsGoodMan Also don't talk yourself into liking tauros. It's noob bait. Yes you will be able to make it work but there is no way it does enough for the cost to be an actual good include if winning is your goal.
I know its all its just not relevant yet. Dragonite does random overkill it doesnt really do anything there, and the Articuno attack’s spread isnt high enough impact to tech for. Maybe depending on what gets printed in the rest of the set.
New mew looks sick I'm going to die so hard to it I love boss mons with big dumb attacks. Also the new trainer that's 2 x- speed stapled together is cool.
I'm really scared of that new vaporeon. I feel like it will end up being an absolute menace, especially when water are already really powerful as is

Amazin. I knew i made a good choice hoarding those hourglasses
That revenge killer in an agro promape deck is very interesting
Starmie runs blue to stop arcanine and pikachu from one shotting
Omg is that the hearthstone guy, but as the pokemon pocket guy
Marshadow? More like MARSHIEadow

Any situation you described here where Blue might be useful, Potion does just as well or better.
@@MartianBuuPocket but you wouldnt lose potion option. Sorry, maybe I am just bad, but I dont understand that argument.

If only there was an item/trainer card saying "you can assign 1 colorless energy to a colorless (or just non EX) pokemon"...
Yey, new pocket update!
Pokeeeeman
Blue reduces damage to ALL your Pokemon. So it’s anti articuno ex and dragonite. Still bad, but better.
