These deck lists shown after pikachu are really bad and outdated

I play water box with starmie ex and seadra (mostly because i didn't have articuno ex when making it but also cuz the bench attack can win games sometimes, esp. if you get a good misty to power seadra up)

Water is the hardest match up for Weezing Arbok from my experience. The set up is too fast to deal damage, and their bench is filled with other Water EX, which is really hard for Koga deck to kill. On the other hand, Starmie EX only need Giovanni to one shot an Arbok. Source: i switch to Mewtwo after facing too many Starmie EX on ladder.

I love this deck... But I get bricked a lot more than I like... Imagine a single ekans or koffing for 4 turns in a row.. but occasionally the stars aligned and I go first and get koffing into weezing right away, or go second with ekans into arbok

I'm a big fan of taking out the x speeds from that weezing arbok deck and putting in a grimer and a muk

I have destroyed round after round the Pikachu EX deck with my VENUSAUR EX + Butterfree. I can wait to charge my venusaur by sacrificing 2 pokemon , but once I start hitting… they can’t do anything

I just packed my 2nd pika but no zapdos in sight. Is the deck still good without it?

I always keep a singular grimer in my Wheezing deck. Straight up stonewalls against Mewtwo.

I think something notable about the blaine/ninetales deck is how it eats C tier and below decks alive - it’s fast and pretty consistent, so slow inconsistent decks don’t stand a chance. The issue is, as you pointed out, that the card quality is pretty low, so it struggles against high tier decks.

I think meowth & dragonite is a nice combo

Saw an Arcanine tournament deck playing a single copy of Aerodactyl and have been really liking that. You get to have the good pikachu matchup, while still having an out to mewtwo. Also in case you (or others reading this) aren't aware, there's a bunch of people playing without EXs by queueing into private with the password NOEX. Could make for good videos if you want to play more off meta stuff

You often say there’s nothing better to play so might as well play fossil. I agree red card is bait, but what are your thoughts on pokedex into pokeball shuffle plays? I find it much more helpful in niche situations than fossil

Moltres Centiskorch is also pretty decent. 130 damage is a very good break point, and the deck is more approachable because Moltres is the only EX you need. I actually prefer it over both Charizard and Arcanine. Weezing really surprised me, too. I remember seeing Koga and initially thinking it was a terrible card but actually playing with it really changed my perspective.

I think you underestimated Blaine deck. I use it without Magmar, with 1 copy Farfetch'd. It ends matches too quickly thanks to Blaine and Giovanni boosts. Wiggly.exe is decent too and it will be a lot better with addition of new Jiggly.

I've seen tier lists that where the "D" level is labeled "Dragonite Tier"

One slight adaptation I like in Charizard ex decks is the addition of 1 non EX Charizard for similar reasons to the non EX Arcanine, it did really well in a recent tournament and I think that plus the fossil really helps optimize Charizard EX to where it's pretty solidly 4th in the game imo Great video and I agree with the rankings 👍

Hi! I just discovered your channel and love the content! I like your logic and how you explain things 👍 Here I would just like to understand why no Potions as to me it looks like one of the best flexible cards to put in every deck, is there a reason behind it or just no more room? With almost half of the deck being trainers I am guessing they would end up as dead cards most of the time no? Here if Giovanni is better than Potion is there Meta reasons I don't see explaining this choice?

Can’t agree more with your general assessment. I kept a reroll where I got really lucky with pikachu packs and got a pikachu EX deck up and running day 1. As much fun as I have jumping around from one deck to another, it’s nice having pika when I just want some wins. One thing I would disagree with is that I think you’re sleeping on the blaine deck a bit. It’s pretty crazy how many times I’ve taken down the top tier decks with it. Feels unstoppable when it draws well. It can scrap a bit mid game too if you find all your pokemon and both sabrinas.

I think Blaine deserve at the very least a B Tier.

Just got into PKtcg because of a friend.

I have a love/hate relationship with Moltres. It can be helpful when you get that instant charizard and it gets that instant 2-3 energy turbocharge for an insane high roll. But I feel like it's often a liability. Just giving up 2 free points and either turbo charging into nothing while waiting for charmeleon or not charging at all with 0 heads. Meanwhile the opponent is running wild under 0 pressure.

My favorite Weezing is deck is with butterfree and bulbasar. It wins more than it should but is horrible into Abra if it sets up or charmander.

Hit the 45 win thing in the event today with this. Couldn't get enough of it. Trapping with Arbok is so so fun against Moltres EX and these dumb setup guys.

Pidgeot also likes going first; Pidgeotto has a 1 energy attack and and Pidgeot a 2 energy attack, but still, going second is so much better in almost any deck + making the enemy go first also makes them have less energy

I love this deck. One of my absolute favorites. I like to include a single Grimer/Muk or Jigglypuff/Wigglytuff for some extra options. Wigglytuff is another standout Weezing partner imo.

Love the content man, if you're taking deck suggestion I'm having a ton of fun and success with straight Articuno Greninja. I know you have a vid with Greninja already but that had Starmie too and I think that makes the deck have a bit too much going on. the Pikachu mu is carried by misty though.

Why 2 potion over 2 Giovanni? I feel like 130 damage and (60+50) damage are both very relevant break points.

I'm still a Meowth truther for Mewtwo Gardevoir. I dunno. I just like it more. Baby Mewtwo does look good tho. I also like Kang to soak hits and deal small damage.
