You go girl!! Eve was not an afterthought...Eve was an improvement!! I like the way you mentor the next generation. A lot of information in concise video. I learned and I enjoyed it.
Nice video except for too much zooming and movement when the little guy was doing the filming. LOL! We all gotta learn by doing! I've seen a couple of other UA-cam videos of this same procedure and they were really horrible compared to yours! Kept it simple. Great shots of the mounting bolt locations. Thanks for making this video and teaching your next gen how to wrench on their own wheels!
I have a 2002 Town and Country and ever since I've got it it's always vibrated when in drive and on the break. I replace the easy motor mount in the front and the rubber was all busted up. Went to drive the van again and noticed it went into reverse with no vibration at all when the foot is on the brake but now it is a lot worse in Drive. There are two transmission mounts and I hope replacing both of those fixes the problem all together because now it is so bad I have to put it in neutral at almost every long-term stop.
I plan to change this last motor mount next weekend and wanted to ask where you placed the jack. Did you place it under the motor oil pan or the transmission fluid pan? Thanks in advance.
You're jacking up the left side of the car but then going in from the right side near the CV axle on the front bolts and then going in from the left side on the rear bolts?
Thanks for the quick instructions. Question about the replacements; do you know if it is recommended to do both at the same time (like brakes), or is it reasonable to replace one and not the other?
While is may seem cost effective to replace them as they wear, it is viable to reflect on the idea that it is one of many parts. When one part is no longer there to carry its share of the weight/stress, the remaining parts experience additional stress which COULD cause premature wear. This inturn would lead to premature failure, Dominoing into premature failure of your new part. If one plans to keep the vehicle it might seem prudent to replace the struts & remaining mounts. It can save money in the long run. Otherwise, one might consider selling this one while everything seems smooth. Just foid for thought. Overall, this video is surprisingly well done. YGG! With hands on to the next gen is simply poetic. WTG
Joseph J I used the jack with the block of wood under the oil pan so that the engine and transmission didn’t drop down when I remove the mount. I didn’t jack the vehicle up with the pan I was just using it as a support with the mount removed
@@mamachanic I was going to tell this person the same then seen that you had already. Lol. Be safe during this corona virus stuff. I hope you your son and your family are safe well, and healthy.. god bless
How much mileage is on the van ? I am getting random clunks from the front end and i was thinking that something is shifting around banging on subframe
Hello I have a question about my 2010 Dodge Grand Caravan sxt 3.8 liter my flex pipe has a hole in it has yours done that too coming from the manifold to the muffler pipe any ideas
Better than a 1000 videos I’ve seen thanks for showing the Mount
These 3 videos about the mounts are extremely well explained. Will be doing this job at the weekend. Thanks !

Thank you!!! You are awesome!!! You made this as short and easy as possible... I watched a lot of videos and you made this easy to understand...
Gracias por tus vídeos un gran saludo ...👍
You're able to get the front bolts without removing the center sub frame spline?
Other people are removing that Center spline 6 or 7 bolts.

TY. this apparently goes for a 2012 vw routan as well even though everything I look up gives me the wrong stuff!
YOU ROCK!!

25June2011 I just replace the mounts as they wear out not necessarily all at once

Thanks for the video. Does anyone have the torque specs for the 5 bolts for the rear mount?
Does this same procedure go for 2013 dodge journey been searching for videos and cant find one on this specific mount
Nice but never jack up a transmission pan or oil pan there's better hard surfaces that won't smash in or break from the weight

Anthony Jones I haven't run into that, I'd recommend an exhaust shop
