I kinda disagree with the recommendations. As a graphic designer & illustrator who working in the industry, I don't care with All in One PC even if it has some fancy features on it. I would recommend a PC setup with multi display and drawing tablet. Even tho graphic design is not as demanding as gaming, a decent performance still necessary & upgradeability option is also important which most All in One PC lack of. Instead of buying fancy All in One PC, I would recommend you to buy a monitor with a decent color gamut. At least 100% sRGB is the minimum monitor you should buy. I'm currently using Ryzen 7 3700x + RTX 2070S and 32GB RAM with 2 monitors & a Cintiq tablet. This is overkill for just graphic designing, but I don't want to compromise anything that will reduce my productivity. Well, I also playing some games in my day off & this is the most reason of my specification. The best PC for you is always depend on your conditions but if you want to be professional graphic designer, PC is the best choice to go. If you're broke, you can choose cheaper PC with iGPU then put a discrete graphic card later on.

Hi, I am a beginner-ish digital artist looking to finally get a proper set up. I have just had my Samsung tab s6 for my art and looking to fully go into digital art. It looks like people are saying not to get an all in one PC. I have about $1200-1600 to spend on the monitor/computer. I have other money for buying the program and drawing tablet. What computer and monitors do you recommend that would be in that price point together? I am trying to get the best that I can within that price point tho. Before seeing these comments I was looking at the Dell Inspiron 27 7000 all in one, do you think that is not a good idea? Thank you so much. (I mostly want to do manga/anime and normal art/design but have been thinking of doing a bit of animation also)
@@ferrocor8668 with $1600 budget, you can get pretty decent setup. But first, get a pen display like wacom one, huion kamvas or xp pen. If I'm not mistaken huion kamvas 13 is about $250 and it's a decent start for a pen display. You can also choose other tablets, watch reviews if you doubt. Then you can get a decent pc setup with the remaining the budget. I'll suggest latest gen of intel or amd cpu (i5 or ryzen 5) with rtx 3060 or rx 6600 gpu, 16GB RAM, storage, etc. And the last, you can get a secondary display with the rest of the budget. Sorry I can't provide with the detailed prices since it can be different across regions.

This doesn't seem to have any input from graphic designers. As an artist who has used everything from android phones, iphones, imacs, and dells, I can say that this list is not very good. For one, as an artist, which I'm assuming is a stationary, professional artist, you would not want a mac due to the limitations of it. Macs are fine, but a PC is so much better. Also, you would not want an all in one, you would want a desktop which you would use with a wacom tablet, as wacom is much less limited. You probably would want a separate computer, with one or more monitors you can choose individually based on color, resolution, and price. This list is made for rich beginners who don't know where to start.

@@mightyzues89 1. Adobe illustrator is good, but only if you want to use vector graphics. If you only want to use vectors it's amazing, but if you want something for drawing too I recommend purchasing the Adobe creative suite. 2. Do you want a desktop, or a laptop. My laptop is pretty powerful and works very fast, although it's $800, the Dell G3 15. I think what you want is a gaming laptop/PC, I would recommend watching "Linus Tech Tips" videos to find a good one.

If you're looking for a computer, I'd recommend getting a gaming pc or laptop that's around 1k and a Wacom intuos (pro or not, it's more of a personal choice) and either the Adobe creative cloud, or clip studio paint (clip studio is set up better if you're interested in anime type stuff, although can be modified easily for everything except vector graphics), or get an ipad and apple pencil, preferably certified refurbished (check verizon, best buy, and apple for the best one you can find), and depending on how much money is left, either clip studio (subscription based with a great free trial) or procreate ($10) or medibang/autodesk sketchbook if you're looking for something free. If you have questions or need clarification lmk :)
It started well, but the Apple review is mostly about spec, less about actual usage as seen with the MS Surface. Spec is important but the drawing and usage comparisons need to be more on par.

pretty good video dude very informative my only issue is you need to leave the pros and cons part up longer esp the con part- i need time to read about it. the con section flashes up in 2 second had to keep pausing the video.
Sorry but i disagree with the ''pc or desktop better than lap top'' thing..As i Graphic Designer and Animator i have been using i macbook pro advanced model from 2020 and this lil' beast can make it through every adobe and other program i've used. After many years I switched from pc and this was my best choice ever. The workflow and comfort is just as good like on a desktop cuz It supports 2x 4k displays, and it's portable which is really important nowadays for many of us!

I almost bought the iMac 27 inch but what’s the point of it, if the new one is coming out and you’ll feel left behind. Apple will screw you eventually by not doing software updates sooner than later.

I would recommend an hp or a gaming laptop/pc. I'm not a digital artist but I am an artist an from the time i have work on a mac, i hated it. Many pf my digital artist friend dont use mac's. They use gaming PC's laptops an a wacom table. One as an ipad but not all do. I would search around an see what you can find. I can't say which to get since I am looking for a new system myself. Mine is about to kick the bucket. I wish you good luck.
