He's not really into it so my question is why is he doing it? I think it was like he was forcing it with no feeling or emotion. Junk to me. And I love staind
He's a country singer (who's 52 years old) now. He's not going to tear his vocal cords up for this like he did back in the day with spleen aka Dysfunction. He has more growl vocals which are good enough in my opinion. Could be better, but Lewis isn't in his 20s anymore. It's never been the greatest song, live. The studio is much much better.
@@Valeo1993 Are we talking about his personality on stage or his vocal energy on stage? Because Aaron Lewis has been way better than average on stage in years past. Especially in the Dysfunction and Break the Cycle days. He's not young as spring time no more. He's an insanely heavy chain smoker (since the stone age) which hasn't probably helped his peak longevity on the mic. But besides all that... 50 year old rockers don't rock out like they did in their youth. It doesn't mean they don't want to perform on stage.

@@cinematicsterling6897he didn't even look very active in videos I've seen from 2001. Although while performing this particular song, I've seen him more active even recent ones. Probably the best he's done for this song was in 2012 after it came out though.
His screams are so tight during this. 2021 and his screams are on point. He seems almost high during this tho 😂
it's the strain of doing the screams
Holy shit.

it’s sad that the other guys are putting the effort in and rocking out. however, aaron clearly doesn’t care and he doesn’t want to be there
