- Jay sits down with music star, frontman of the group Staind, Aaron Lewis as he celebrates his 50th birthday, and they are joined by golf legend John Daly - live from Losers Bar & Grill in Nashville! Aaron and John both talk about getting started in their respective careers at the age of four, and how Aaron went to goldsmithing school instead of pursuing music so he'd have a career if music didn't work out. Plus Aaron takes us on the wild journey of creating Staind and how the band failed several times early on, and John tells the story about how he dropped out of college at Arkansas after borrowing $300 from his mom to play in the Missouri Open and never looked back. And of course John jokes about being a blue-collar redneck on the PGA tour and how he actually learned to play golf on a baseball field. Plus, Aaron, John and Jay also weigh in on the state of politics in 2022 and where they think things have gone wrong.
Sat and listened to Aaron “preach” in between songs in Knox Tn for about 2 hours a couple of weeks ago and all I can say is if you haven’t seen his acoustic show and you get the chance it will be well worth your time and money. What an incredible performer and what a powerful message. True American!!

Sadly everything they're saying about the left can be applied to the right as well, and they seem to be oblivious to it. There's now a far left and a far right. Bill Clinton might be considered a republican, and John McCain wasn't republican enough. You got your AOC's and your Marjorie Taylor Greenes...both sides are pulling too far...when America really falls somewhere in the middle. And like he said- "as the pendulum swings". It'll go right next time, and back to the left in the future. But the further it swings to either side, the more divided our country gets. Both sides need to chill the fuck out. 300+ million people and everybody's got different ideas on how to live.

Aaron lewis is a patriot and takes this shit seriously. Every person with a platform should use it how they see fit.
I've seen Aaron Lewis 3 times. Brown Theatre in Louisville first and Horseshoe Casino in Indiana two times. Best concerts I've been to and Ill go again if i get the chance. He is a comedian and a hell of a guitar player.

Staind sounded SOOO good when i seen them live last year with Disturbed. I was shocked at his vocals and how well it holds up today.
By FAR my favorite little podcast/interview I have seen. Love all 3 guys, and had no idea this video existed until I stumbled across it looking for AFL music. Awesome! I wish more celebs would be outspoken about all that's fucked up around our amazing country.
Most 'celebs', if you can call some of them that, are flaming liberals. Some WAY FAR LEFT of others but the majority of people with name recognition in the entertainment industry are card carrying democrats who are absolutely positively thrilled with the farked up way things in this country are currently.
