I've ordered from Jomashop many times. Nice prices. My only issue is that they falsely advertised two products I purchased. One they listed as an EDP concentration, but it was an EDT. I didn't receive my full refund after sending it back. So I decided not to use them going forward, but they do have great deals.
There's also reformulations. Not the seller's fault, but it results in accusations of selling fake products. Especially people familiar with the older badges. 🤷
Adding to this video: You didn't get a fake fragrance. It just needs to macerate!! That's why it smells like straight alcohol when it arrives. *Speaking mostly of Middle Eastern fragrances*. The amount of reviews I've seen on Amazon saying this and that is a fake because they didn't let it macerate, and it smells like alcohol and/or it doesn't last long, is insane!! Drives me nuts. Are fakes sold on Amazon? Absolutely. But ME fakes are rare, if any at all, and all the reviews I've seen are from fragrances that I not only have in my collection but ordered from the same place as them! Anyway, you get my point. It's frustrating when people jump on the bandwagon of whatever is popular on TT, and they know nothing about the proper care and storage of their fragrances. Bandwagoneers have taken over the frag world and the ignorance is hard to ignore.
I bought fake fragrance from macys. I used the numbers on the bottom of the fragrance bottle and the site came back saying it was totally different brand.
Nice review. I know you get tired of having to explain yourself about this all the time love the video Melissa stay motivated Dream big 1 mill on the way
I noticed lot of bottles I bought from Joma don’t perform at all.. almost like the scent was expired, watered down, stored unproperly .. this is with MULTIPLE bottles..there’s a reason why it’s going cheap… trust me.. majority of everyday people pay full price retail for bottles
It might not happen all the time, or even very often, but it DOES happen - and Jomashop seems to be the worst about it. I've purchased from multiple frag sites and Jomashop was the only one that has ever sent me a fake fragrance. I bought Amouage Reflection Man and it smelled like cheap Avon cologne, nothing like the legit sample I purchased elsewhere, and the color was dark yellow when the real juice is basically clear. It DOES happen, so to get mad at people and call them stupid for pointing it out seems disingenuous and makes you look like a paid Jomashop shill.
Well the people who were panicking and crying wolf in the examples she gave were being stupid. It's perfectly okay to call an idiot a idiot. Especially when that idiot jumps to conclusions and starts screaming before talking and causes widespread panic/chaos that f*cks with her livelihood. She specifically says in multiple videos that she is only speaking of personal experiences and not that everyone/everything/everywhere/every time sucks or is stupid etc. I don't know you but I'll give you the benefit of the doubt that you probably thought she was implying that anyone who's accused jomashop of selling a fake is a liar and a moron but that's not the case here. Hopefully you'll give her the benefit of the doubt as well. 🤘
The only retailers I have purchased fake fragrances are: eBay and seller from Ukraine, a Roja Elysium bottle. In both cases I received a full refund. I could not leave feedback since they refunded me. Great feedback is no guarantee! I have also purchased some good clones from eBay, a little overpriced. I swore buying fragrances from eBay!!
Ebay has been super reliable for me. I had my reservations in the beginning because of things I heard in the past. But honestly they have really good customer protection policies.
Literally just ordered from Jomashop and let me tell anyone reading this that it’s 100% authentic. In fact, my bottle of Explorer from Jomashop outperformed most of the testers I sprayed myself with on different occasions from Nordstroms and Sephora.
I live near a high school and was walking near 2 guys, one was accusing the other of having fake air pods . It was the most annoying conversation ever to hear the one boys reasoning for the accusation ( they looked too long apparently 😂) and the other boy defending himself . Not everything is fake if it doesn’t perfectly match the one time you saw said product . They make changes to air pods like every year … but that’s besides the point. There will always be someone who has spent about 15 years on the planet, and they are just so sure that they know the entire history of design and formulation of some thing.😂😂😂😂
I seen a youtuber say she thougth she had a fake bottle of purfumes de marly simply because she heard someone on tik toc say that and she also got a whiff of achohol when she first sprayed. Ridiculous. Ive bought 3 bond 9s, althair and creed winds flowers for my girl from there and they all are 100% authentic. I shop mostly at bloomies and have tons samples, i go there ofter to shop, smell and compare scents
They say it smells like alcohol but they spray it super close to their skin and smell it as it’s dripping down their arm. Let that thing breathe for a second lmaoo
How do you vet a legit site? I have recently purchased a fragrance from Sensa Beauty, I linked through UA-cam. Just ordered today so will keep alll posted on how it goes, The prices were impressive.
I bought Hibiscus Mahajad from them and sent the package and perfume pics to Maison crivelli customer service and they confirmed that it’s legit, they just changed the package measurement.
@@christinayoussef7482 Thank you so very much for that response, that is what I bought, and feel so much better about spending the money. I will rest much easier while I wait for it to arrive.
I got a bottle of The Bewitching Yasmine a couple days ago from Jomashop. The bottom of the bottle looks like most of the text on the bottom of the bottle was buffed off. It's barely legible. The other 5 bottles I have from Penhaligon's have white text on the bottom of the bottle. Also, the juice should be bright pink, it's not.
Love the content but none of us can say what a company will do or won't do....some discounters have sold fakes before.... it is a black market....fakes are rare in these cases but do happen
I purchased some creed fragrances from Jomashop and when I looked up the lot number they did not exist and I did get error codes for all of them. I did purchase a Hugo Boss fragrance and that lot number popped up just fine. Concerning is all I’m saying.
anyone knows who's been in the fragrance realm long enough knows which sites are legit and what people to trust when it comes to recommendations. its a testament to beginner status if they are making those statements and questioning someone like you haha
The fact they purchased Molecule fragrance and thought it was fake 😂 😂😂😂. Yea please do your research on fragrances before buying them. I’ve never got a fake bottle from Jomashop
She probably just feels intensely about the subject. Everyone should be convicted and serious every once in a while. Otherwise, the person is just goofy
Nah, I dont think she's pissed. She's just relaying to yall the information that I posted in her comment section a couple days ago, on her video called Why I Get A Lot Of Compliments On My Fragrance. On that video, I posted: "Ive read that often times the original retailer from which discounters get their fragrances, deliberately scratch off/remove information (like address, bar code etc) that can be used to trace where the discounter got the fragrance from. Its said that they do this because if the retailer is an "authorized dealer" and the fragrance brand/manufacturer finds out theyre distributing their fragrance to a non-authorized dealer, that authorized dealer can lose their license to sell that brand's fragrance. So if youre a Neiman Marcus unloading Creed overstock to a discounter, you dont want that stock to be traced back to your store, and lose your entire Creed counter at your store." So she's relaying that information to the paranoid worry warts, so that everybody can understand how the gray market game works.
@@silentsir2446I've purchased 100's of bottles from discounter and never had a batch code removed or scratched off. If a fragrance is being sold as "new" then it needs to be in its original condition fro the manufacturer. Otherwise it's been tampered with and not in "new" conditions. Also, you'd obviously be taking a higher risk purchasing a bottle that you can't do the most basic verification (match batch codes) to comfirm authenticity.
Discount link for my favorite scents: www.jdoqocy.com/click-101087930-15742764
Essentric molecules 02 is mostly ambroxan. It's use mostly for layering... People just don't know.... Do your research people 🤙🤙
That’s a better explanation then what she said
Joma doesn't sell fake fragrances, but the customer service is horrible!! We believe in you Melissa!
Agree!

Fragrance doesn't need to macerate, that's an urban legend. AND I personally Never had a perfume that smells like alcohol, never.
I love Joma Shop!
I bought fake fragrance from macys. I used the numbers on the bottom of the fragrance bottle and the site came back saying it was totally different brand.
Whoa !!!!! Would you mind sharing more , thats so interesting, macys is kinda on crack , so I’m kinda not surprised by your experience
" and of course, the sheep got scared" Melissa N. put it on a shirt.
I’ve ordered plenty of fragrances from Jomashop and have never been sent a fake. Some people just don’t know why they are talking about unfortunately.

Mellisa a wide man once told me "Charlie.. you can't fix stupid". Candidly speaking some people are just plumb dumb and you can't fix em'. 😅
Fakes do slip through the cracks. To say it's impossible is just irresponsible.
I’m specifically talking about websites I recommend and link.
@melissanacional9662 it happens to jomashop too
@dillySez, i agree...It's still possible for them to receive a batch of fakes. There's always that possibility...especially dealing with Grey markets.

Fray market can also get a fake bottle and not know. But gray market is bottles from different countries with lower economy there real
Bought Bond 9 Lafayette Street from Joma, it was 100% authentic.

Melissa. ...what is the difference in buying a "tester" bottle online because they are cheaper???
Nothing. Sometimes they come in plain boxes or don’t have caps. That’s it.

no. bewitching jasmine gets darker, more burgundy and purplish due to oud

She is right, we got the same in France!!

there’s this thing called a batch code/number… i wonder what that could be for 🤔… huh.
check da batch code
❤️🔥
Melissa you seemed really pissed in this video. Normally, you laugh this type of stuff off.
What gives?
Maybe she is tired of people being dumb in the frag community. I know I am! She's allowed to vent on her channel.
So.....what gives?? 🙄
Also, she personally recommended a site to someone and they claimed she directed them to a site that sells fakes. That's enough to get anyone angry.
