Miranda, What a complete delight for a lazy Sunday. You and your Mum are so lovely, that I wish we were neighbors and friends. One negative - what your vlog is doing to my pocketbook, for I am complelled to read, make, and buy almost everything you recommend. I truly love your aesthetic.
I so enjoyed this vlog with the trip to York, the lovely images, and the great chat with your mum at the end. I was so glad to hear that I am not the only person who can cry over a book! ❤
I enjoy so much your videos. I love seeing you & your Mom going out and about touring various town’s & villages and the countryside as well. I adore seeing the bookstores, museums and little restaurants you discover. It’s lovely to see the grand relationship you and your Mother share. I had such a relationship with my Mother but she has passed on now and I miss her terribly. Vicariously I love watching you two and the obvious love you share. I wish my health would let me travel but through the wonders of the internet you show me things I would never get to see. So thank you so much for sharing your world and I love followers your book recommendations which I induced me to follow your channel but then I discovered there was so much more here. Many thanks from America.
You're so welcome, Barbara! I'm so pleased the videos bring back happy memories of your own relationship with your Mum too! I'm so happy you get to be a virtual armchair traveller with us at least! Take care ❤️📚
Thank you Miranda and Donna. It's difficult to express (without sounding somewhat overblown) the enjoyment and happiness I experience when watching your vlogs. Your book recommendations are always interesting ( I have just ordered 'How we Might Live'), and I so enjoyed your trip to York. I greatly appreciate all your hard work in providing such thoughtful content. Many thanks as always 🙏 ♥️
Thank you so much for your lovely words and very kind and generous support, Penny! They both mean so much to me. I hope you enjoy How We Might Live too. Have a lovely week! ❤️
Hi Miranda,Thank you for this beautiful, relaxing vlog. I really loved the Bloom museum tour, such lovely paintings. The stationary you bought was so pretty. Another lovely vlog and another pretty mug! I enjoy going out and about with you and your mom, it’s wonderful that you share so much together! The banana bread looks delicious, I am going to make that loaf!! Have a wonderful week Miranda, till next week!! 🥰🇨🇦
Thank you so much, Wendy for your support! I really appreciate it and am so happy you enjoyed the vlog! So agree with you about Anne of Green Gables! ❤️📚😊
You and your mother are so darling! I have come to rely on your recommendations after agreeing with you and your mother more than once! I am a long-time reader with an affinity for British fiction, suspense and romance. I love your blog-keep up the great work!
Thank you Miranda. I was a fish out of water waiting for you to get back to these vlogs 😊You have never steered me wrong with your book recommendations. Your effort is so appreciated!
Dear Miranda, it’s always a pleasure to watch your vlog! I especially like when you share a passage from a book : you aren’t just reviewing it , you are inviting us “to enter “ the story … irresistible! The images from the exhibition are simply beautiful, I wish it came to Italy too… seeing flowers through the eyes of painters is always something magic and surprising in my opinion. I wish you and your dear Mum a wonderful week
Thank you so much for your lovely comment, Laura! It was a treat to see such a pretty exhibition. I hope you have a wonderful start to the week too! 💐 💕
Thanks for another lovely ‘visit’. The renewed website looks amazing! Easy to navigate and full of beautiful photographs. You look positively smashing in all of your dresses. I love the bookclub selections for this half of the year and will participate in all. Wishing you and your mum continued good health and success. Thank you for all you provide.
Miranda ,you pack so much into your video. Thank you,all things I love. I have been a william and may m orris fan for years. I have read the book you were showing, very interesting. I agree about the illustrations. I also looking forward to reading the lady vanishes. Thank you for the joyful, enjoyable videos. You work really hard😊
Amazing! Thanks for letting me see all the beautiful things through your eyes. It's fun to go to the places, it's like being there. I'm not a reader but, I still enjoy your channel. Thanks again...🌷🌷🌷
What an uplifting half hour! Thank you so much. I do enjoy your chats with your Mum. As another commenter has posted I wish you were my neighbours and also I need a bigger bookcase as I am running out of space for all the books you keep enthusing about and I just want to own myself! I hope the sun is still shining for you, it seems to be non-stop rain here.
Perfect timing Miranda, I was just wandering what to do this lazy Sunday afternoon when up you popped on my UA-cam notifications! Time to put the kettle on and get bookish 😊♥
I find the timing great too. It appears on Monday morning when I have just showered and dressed for work. A wonderful accompaniment to my breakfast, shut away in my little den before I venture out. It’s winter here is nice and cozy for a few minutes before I hit the road🚗.
Another beautiful vlog. I love your relationship with your mom. I cant wait to read The Reading List. I have read so many amazing books that you have recommended. Thanks so much for your hard work and sharing your time with us
Yes I did enjoy it very much thank you, Miranda. I read "The Reading List" when it was first published 2 years ago, because it was getting such rave reviews for a debut novel ... and because I share Indian/English ancestry with the author and wanted to support her. I loved the novel and have just ordered her second novel ("The Twilight Garden") which was just released last month ... can't wait to receive it!
Miranda and Donna, I very much enjoyed your discussion of "The Reading List" having read it a while back and remember loving it (and also sobbing). Your new website is beautiful and delightful to browse through, starting with your quote, "slowing down to live well" which has become my new motto. 💕
Thank you for another delightful video! I mentioned the The Third Eye to my husband and he said “I couldn’t finish that one, it was so strange! I got halfway through and had to put it down.” And I said Miranda and her mum agree with you! 😊 Also, your new blog is beautiful. Looking forward to more book reviews and recipes in print.
Thank you Miranda for all this lovely content...the books, the baking, the travels, the artists including artisans like the wonderful Elizabeth Harbour....It's always a very interesting , cultural, comforting watch. Watching you and the rhythm of your life with your mum Donna is the perfect antidote to a stressful day.(but of course I realize we don't see the hard bits) Thanks to you both, the very charming and talented Miranda and Donna of Yorkshire 🌺🌸
Your Sunday Vlog is always such a treat for me to watch. I love the variety in this one, with the art gallery trip (gorgeous floral art), a lovely recipe and of course books! I'm not sure I'd like Yellowface but definitely must read The Reading List, which has been on my shelf for months. I like the sound of The Twilight Garden too. I'm really looking forward to August's Comfort Book Club read, I must find my ancient copy of All Creatures Great and Small. Take care both of you and have a good week.
What a delightful vlog💕the art work was absolutely gorgeous. I love the cards you chose as well. It’s always such a treat to see you and Donna. I’m off now to check out your website. I hope you have a lovely week and visit with your friends.
The notification for this video popped up while I was at work and I couldn't wait to get home and watch! What a lovely exhibition - I love flowers and really enjoyed seeing some of the paintings. And that banana cake looked delicious. I really want to read that book about Jane and William Morris, too. Thank you for making my Sunday.
I love books about books & I have read the Reading list and totally agree about your comments. Am currently reading the Librarian by Sally Vickers which I am enjoying so far x.
Your new website is so well done. I appreciate your attention to detail--the flowers, china and extras--all the styling coordinates with the book jackets. All your work much appreciated. The videos of your outings with your lovely Mum are a mini-vacation. Thank you for all.
Lovely vlog again. York looks like a beautiful city. The Rosemary Sutcliff book was a great find as her books are generally hard to find. I think people who own them, never let them go ! I love the floral ornament & of course the cards.
I love these vlogs so very much that it is my pleasure to give a little something back. You and your mum are both so lovely and provide much comfort and happiness to me. Thank you for this Sunday coziness
Great vlog Miranda. I have just finished All Creatures and so enjoyed it. I wouldn’t have chosen this book myself but as ever in good Comfort Book Club tradition, it was the book I didn’t know I wanted to read. My 15 months of following along has taught me that you and Donna know best. So am reading Lessons in Chemistry by Bonnie Gamus in the meantime and have the remainder of the clubs 2023 recommendations winging there way to me. Best wishes to you and Donna.
Thanks so much for the kind words! I'm so glad you enjoyed All Creatures Great and Small! We're so looking forward to the discussion for this one. Have a great reading week ahead! 📚❤️
Love the cards from York Art Gallery, especially the 'September dresser' one. Noticed your dresser in the background with all the lovely china 💛 Enjoyed reading Sara Nisha Adams book a few weeks ago. Have similar thoughts to Donna about the death perhaps being a bit unnecessary. Definitely an important subject that deserves to be explored but with everything else going on in this novel it felt a bit shoehorned in and rushed. Didn't know there is a new book out by her, exciting. And exciting news about your website!
I’ve just taken the time to listen to the bbc version of Yellowface and agree with your enthusiasm. It’s a great story. And I will make your cake, it looks lovely. Always so nice to listen to you and Donna. ❤
Lovely interlude as usual Your capacity to review a book telling the story admiring the narrative and drawing us into the setting and plot is a total package. I am in total awe and so thankful you are willing to share it all Such a generosity of spirit shines through from you both deepest thanks from Australia (sorry about the cricket !!)🙃
Miranda your new website design looks amazing!!! Well done! Beautiful video as usual. I loved it at the end when your Mom and you were just chatting. Felt like we were all having a chat around the table together. Congrats on your book find in York! It's a good looking book! Your cake looked so good I wanted to lick the screen!!! Yum! Happy Sunday!🐝
Miranda, a visit to your channel always leads me back to my soul self, a place of unlimited magic and beauty! Thanks for all you do. And I must comment on Donna’s current hair color and style, very flattering indeed.
I love The Reading List. I read it and then recommended it to my book club. Everyone I suggest it to loves it. Glad to hear you both loved it as well. I want to try that cake it looks wonderful.
Hello Miranda. Thank you so much for this vlog, you and your mum stay undeniably charming and lovely, a delight I cannot resist 🌺😊 my Sundays have become richer and much more enjoyable ❤️ The website looks sublime. Thanks for the recommendations and all that you do. All the best to you and your mum 💕🌼 Julia
Thank you so much for your generous comments and kind support, Julia! I so appreciate it. So pleased you enjoyed the vlog and the website too, Wishing you a great start to the week ❤️💐📚
Wonderful vlog Miranda! Love James Herriot and am looking forward to August CBC. Loved the gallery cards & the Harbour ornament. Also love your green heart necklace! And now I’m off to check out The Reading List!
Happy Sunday to you both, too! I always enjoy your book recommendations, and love following you both on your adventures. I'm going to try than banana loaf-- it looks really yummy!
Oh my, I’m listening to episode 3 Yellow Face on BBC on your newsletter-whoa already gripping! Thank you! I’m reading Eleanor Oliphant is completely fine-good so far
Thank you so much for this lovely vlog. Like you Donna, I recently had to stop my reading in the train because the main character was describing his mum’s death (out of the blue or maybe I did not see it coming😆) and I felt the ugly cry coming. I really had to breathe to compose myself again. I only just made it but it was close!😅 Merci encore à vous deux pour vos merveilleuses vidéos.🙏🏻✨✨✨
Hi Miranda - thank you for another super vlog! Just to say all your hardwork on the website has delivered a really lovely site. I'm also now tempted to read Yellowface, which I wasn't sure about. You've made it sound more interesting than most of the reviews I've read. I'm impressed by 5.30 starts!
Thank you for taking us along to the Bloom exhibit and for reminding us of the pleasures to be found on adventure and at home. Of the images you were able to share from the exhibit, Charles Ginner’s painting was my favorite too! In part because I have a similar Quimper vase that holds special meaning for me, so it is fun to see it on canvas, but also I really enjoy how that thick paint captures the light and the delicacy of the petals. The light glinting off the silver in the painting with the women seated with a tea tray between them is just wonderful, too. And thank you, as always, for your impeccable reading recommendations. I’m glad to hear that The Hours Before Dawn measures up to Uncle Paul, which I thoroughly enjoyed. Before moving on to James Herriot, I’m finishing up Laura Cummings’ Five Days Gone, as it’s called in the states. Memoir, mystery and poetic prose all in one. I’m a newly minted fan. I’m eager to read her new one and her book on Velazquez. I hope you and Donna have been enjoying a fabulous week!
I'm so glad you enjoyed the glimpses I could show of the paintings at the Bloom exhibition, Pamela! The Ginner painting is really special. Yes, I really enjoyed The Hours Before Dawn - hope you do too! I have another of her books, but it's set at Christmastime so I'll save it for a December read. So glad you're enjoying the Laura Cumming book too. I'm really liking 'Thunderclap' so far. Thank you so much as always for your very kind and generous support. It means the world to me! ❤️
York is one of my favourite places. The Bloom exhibition looks beautiful and that cake looks delicious.Thank you for another lovely, interesting vid. Yours is one of my favourite youtube channels.❤😊
What a delight to have quality videos to watch on a Sunday afternoon. You both are joy to watch! The art gallery was exquisite, unfortunately, we do not have any art gallery's close to our home and very limited on museums. I hope you and your mom have a wonderful week!
Thank you so much for your lovely comment! That's such a pity you don't have many art galleries or museums close to you. Mum and I love a gallery trip so can sympathize completely! Hope you have a lovely week too! ❤️
Super video again, I’m hoping to see that exhibition when it comes near us. Just been away for a week and managed to read a lot which was great, inc The amazing story of the man who cycled from India to Europe for love.
Hello Miranda, I enjoyed watching this vlog while eating my Sunday Lunch, it was so cozy.. oh!!! I have made a staple of the shaved Brussels sprouts salad you did awhile ago, today I added sun dried tomatoes and roasted red peppers (in the jar )..
Thanks for doing this and for the Bloomsbury collection I viewed earlier. I see that Granta have re-published Virginia Woolf's diary in 5 volumes. With more content than previously, because of the inevitable flow of time that has carried off many people, mentioned within its pages, since the last time the diaries were printed.
Wonderful vlog, Miranda ☺I well know that annoying deliberation after I've finished reading something and then have no idea what I'm in the mood for next! I love the cover for The Hours Before Dawn - it sounds like a great read 😊 It's lovely to hear that you've started a writing course. I started writing poetry a bit more earnestly a couple of years ago and it's been great to feel proud of what I've created by my own efforts. I felt like I just read other people's work and it's so satisfying to find your own written voice! 🙂
Thank you, Emma! I've joined an informal writers' group, but not a writing course. How wonderful you've been inspired to discover your own written voice through your poetry ❤️
Wonderful vlog, Miranda! As usual 🙂 Really enjoyed that floral themed art exhibition! I would love to see that in person... Your banana and cherry cake looked really delicious. And simple, so although I'm usually a disaster when it comes to baking, I think I can make that one LOL. As for reading, well I made a reading list for the summer, but I find myself wandering to other books as my mood strikes lol. BUT, even if you're not including The Reading List as a Comfort book club choice, you've piqued my curiosity and I will read it very soon. I'm also reading All Creatures Big and Small for the Comfort book club discussion in August. 🙂 Have a wonderful week!!!
Thanks so much for your kind words! The cake is such a family favourite of ours and is an unfussy recipe so I hope you enjoy it if you get a chance to try it! Really looking forward to August's CBC discussion ❤️📚🍰
I too really enjoyed How We Might Live and felt the same about the lack of illustrations so I bought ‘’ May Morris Arts and Crafts designer” full of wonderful illustrations of most of her work. I kept it by me so that I could look at the same time.
You were such a great company while I was doing my daily exercises and watching the video the 30 minutes flew by in a wink . The places you visit looks so inviting also the delicious treats and your cake . And you two know how to teas 😉, now I am sure I want to read "The reading list" . I am curious to visit your new website . Wish you a wonderful week with good reads and treats .
Loved this vlog. You and Donna are such an important part of my Sunday afternoon here in Western Oregon, USA. I loved Donna's dress. Definitely going to get The Reading List but will avoid reading it on my next flight! 🌹 I'm on my next trip.
Thank you for the video, a good rest for my brain. I am taking a very intense teaching class, 6 University credits in four weeks, so all I have time to read is course texts. I hope to get some good reading before I start teaching in mid August. I read The Reading List a half year ago and I loved it except for the death. I really do not understand why it was in the story, and I agree not a Comfort book club book.
Thank you Miranda abs Donna for sharing your Sunday with us recommending books that I always live and wonderful recipes !!! I’ve been reading a few jackeline Spear Masie Bobs books detective Inter war years , have you tried them ? For audibles I have been reviewing old classics from my IB DP list such as Herman Hesse , Kafka , Din Quijote, Alice in wonderland and to cheer me up always some PDWoodhouse as you recommend
I love watching your videos especially when it includes a bit of traveling and of course food! There’s a book out that I want to read called The Library. I don’t know if you’ve read it or not.
Absolutely love your video channel, have read so many books on your recommendations and keep a list of books to look out for. Your relationship with your mum is wonderful and really comes across in your videos. I am keeping a recipe book now and have included the banana cake from todays video and also a companion book. A very inspirational couple of ladies, thank you so much XX
Thanks so very much for your kind words, enthusiasm and generous support! It makes me very happy to read your lovely comments, and I so appreciate all your support! ❤️📚💐
Love watching your videos and you’ve given me lots of ideas for my daughter’s Xmas presents so thank you. I live just outside York and it’s lovely seeing so many of the places we visit pop up on your videos. If you’ve not gone up to Northumberland yet Barter Books in Alnwick is a must.
It's always good to see my home town! Well the Roseamary Sutcliff book was a good buy and thank you for mentioning the illustrations which add a lot to Rosemary's books. Why have illustrations been dropped today for most books? David Butterworth
Thanks so much, David! I agree she was fortunate in her illustrators and am gradually replacing any editions I have without illustrations if there are options to have them. I suppose it's a matter of cost and/or securing the copyright? I really miss the colour frontispieces too. ❤️🎨 ✏️
Hello Miranda and Donna, this was a lovely Sunday catch up and thank you for taking us with you on your trip to York - I will certainly try to get to the exhibition when I am next in the area. Can I pick your brains over a book I wondered if you can recommend as, I believe, the writer is from Yorkshire - Frances Brody? Her series of Kate Shakleton mysteries has intrigued me but I haven't read her work before. Happy reading, Teresa 📚
Thanks so much! I think you'd love the exhibition too, Teresa! I tried the first one of that series as loved the idea of them, but sadly it didn't grab me (though others have said they do get better, and we know people who love them all). Mum tried a few more, but they didn't click with her either in the end. The covers are very attractive though, and, of course, it's lovely to have a series of golden crime type mysteries with a Yorkshire setting: they're ones we wished we'd enjoyed more ❤️📚 💐
Thanks@@MirandaMills I think if you both weren't taken with them then I might borrow one from the library first as I have always found your opinions spot on with my own reading experience! 📚♥
Hi Miranda, your Banana and Cherry Loaf Cake sounds amazing! I am always happy to hear your book suggestions and write them down for my next adventure. Have you read Emily Wilde's Encyclopaedia of Faeries? Just curious about your thoughts if you have. Thanks for your lovely vlogs, love you and your Mum!
A most enjoyable and cosy video, thank you. I was also quite excited when I saw a bit of the park/ gardens because I suddenly remembered seeing my first grey squirrel there in June 2016 (on a visit from NZ). Also, I realise I have to read Celia Fremlin now. Meredith
Happy Sunday everyone! If you'd like more of my UK bookshop recommendations, do check out my free pdf booklet on Britain's Best Bookshops: www.mirandajanemills.com/bookshopguide

The website looks amazing Miranda! Your hard work in providing us with such wonderful bookish content is so much appreciated!
That's so kind of you, Stacey! Thank you very much for your lovely words and wonderful support! I so appreciate both ❤️
I so enjoyed spending time with you and your mum in your weekend. I also loved The Reading List and agree about the unnecessary death.
Thanks so much! So glad you enjoyed the vlog! 😊❤️
Your new website is so well done. I appreciate your attention to detail--the flowers, china and extras--all the styling coordinates with the book jackets. All your work much appreciated. The videos of your outings with your lovely Mum are a mini-vacation. Thank you for all.
That's so kind of you to say, Norma! Thanks so much ❤️😊
What a terrific vlog, Miranda. Loved your speedy baking and the trip to York. Thank you very much. With a wave, Carol
Thank you so much for your kind support, Carol! So glad you enjoyed the vlog! Xxx
Lovely vlog again. York looks like a beautiful city. The Rosemary Sutcliff book was a great find as her books are generally hard to find. I think people who own them, never
let them go ! I love the floral ornament & of course the cards.
Yes, I was really pleased to find the book, and York really is beautiful. So happy you enjoyed the vlog - thank you! ❤️📚
Another lovely video, thank you Miranda! So nice to see you and your mum, and what a great relationship you have… and a shared love of reading!
Thank you so much, Robin! Very happy you enjoyed it! ❤️
I too love Elizabeth Harbour’s work, and have two of her Christmas designs. You have reminded me that I need more!
They're so fun to collect ❤️
I love these vlogs so very much that it is my pleasure to give a little something back. You and your mum are both so lovely and provide much comfort and happiness to me. Thank you for this Sunday coziness
You're so welcome, Shelli! I'm so happy you enjoy my channel, Thanks so much for your generosity. Your support means alot to me ❤️📚🌹
Great vlog Miranda.
Noticed your dresser in the background with all the lovely china 💛
Enjoyed reading Sara Nisha Adams book a few weeks ago.
Thanks so much, Penny, for your kind words. We’re excited to read Sara Nisha Adams’ new book as well! Have a good week 📚🌺📚
I’ve just taken the time to listen to the bbc version of Yellowface and agree with your enthusiasm. It’s a great story. And I will make your cake, it looks lovely. Always so nice to listen to you and Donna. ❤
Lovely interlude as usual
Your capacity to review a book telling the story admiring the narrative and drawing us into the setting and plot is a total package.
I am in total awe and so thankful you are willing to share it all
Such a generosity of spirit shines through from you both deepest thanks from Australia (sorry about the cricket !!)🙃
Thanks so much, Heather! So glad you enjoyed the video. I was very pleased with my RS find! xxx
Miranda, a visit to your channel always leads me back to my soul self, a place of unlimited magic and beauty! Thanks for all you do. And I must comment on Donna’s current hair color and style, very flattering indeed.
Perfect vlog for a set Sunday afternoon. Thank you very much for posting 😍

So happy you enjoyed it!, Sally! ❤️
I love The Reading List. I read it and then recommended it to my book club. Everyone I suggest it to loves it. Glad to hear you both loved it as well. I want to try that cake it looks wonderful.
Thanks so much, Lindy! ❤️📚🍰
Such a lovely vlog as always, York looked beautiful and the cake looked scrumptious! Wishing you and your mum a wonderful week ☺️.
Thanks so much for your kind support, Sophie! It's much appreciated! Hope you have a lovely week ahead too ❤️
Hello Miranda.
Love you and your mom! I’m starting at the beginning and watching…all your podcast ♥️♥️
Wonderful vlog Miranda! Love James Herriot and am looking forward to August CBC. Loved the gallery cards & the Harbour ornament. Also love your green heart necklace! And now I’m off to check out The Reading List!
Thank you! So glad you enjoyed it! xxx
Happy Sunday to you both, too! I always enjoy your book recommendations, and love following you both on your adventures. I'm going to try than banana loaf-- it looks really yummy!
Thank you Myriam! I hope you enjoy giving the banana loaf a go - it’s a real favourite of ours 😊
Oh my, I’m listening to episode 3 Yellow Face on BBC on your newsletter-whoa already gripping! Thank you! I’m reading Eleanor Oliphant is completely fine-good so far
Glad you're enjoying it! Eleanor Oliphant is such a good read too!
Hi Miranda ,
Love Books & Cake
Thank you!
Just Fabulous
Take Care🌹
Thank you so much! You too! ❤️📚
What a lovely sojourn, the cake looks like a winner 🙂
Thanks so much ❤️📚 🍰
Hi Miranda - thank you for another super vlog!
We so enjoyed the exhibition! Thanks so much for your kind words. I'm so happy you enjoy my channel! ❤️ 🌺
Happy Sunday to you! Also, my mother made Banana Cake for the first time a few days ago and it was more delicious with chocolate sauce.
Super video again, I’m hoping to see that exhibition when it comes near us. Just been away for a week and managed to read a lot which was great, inc The amazing story of the man who cycled from India to Europe for love.
Thanks! You always bring a bit of extra joy to my Sundays.
Very happy you enjoy the channel, and thanks so much for your kind support of my work. I really appreciate it! ❤️📚
Thank you for introducing me to Elizabeth Harbour. I love her work!
That's lovely to hear, Mary! ❤️
🎯Wonderful upload & wishing your
Mom & you much goodwishes.💐🌟
🎯Thanks so much for all you share with us. ♾️🌟
Thank you very much!
@@MirandaMills 💙💐
I read The Wheel Spins after you spoke about it. The library had the ebook. It was excellent!
Wonderful, Laura! So glad you enjoyed it! ❤️📚
I just recently read The Reading List and very much enjoyed the book.
We will be in York in September, so will pop in to the exhibition whilst we are there. Thanks Miranda ❤
Wonderful, Gill! Hope you enjoy it too! ❤️💐
That's so lovely to hear, Kiki! Great additions. Thanks so much for your very kind support too! I so appreciate your generosity ❤️ 🍅 🫑 💐
Thanks Miranda, I love what you are doing and appreciate it so much.
Thank you so much for your kindness, Leanne! I really appreciate your generosity and am so happy you enjoy my channel! ❤️📚💐
That's great they've been republished!
Thanks!
Thank you so much for your kind support, Myriam! It’s much appreciated ❤️
@@MirandaMills Oh, I beg your pardon! A writing group sounds even better actually 😊 really hope you're enjoying it ☺
Love these videos - I’m learning about so many new authors to try!
That's lovely to hear! Thank you for watching and commenting! ❤️📚
oh... you are lovely! 🥰
🤗 thank you!
I truly enjoy your interactions with your mother and you laughing together over books and cakes... Thanks!
Yes, I have that May Morris book too, Dianne. It really is lovely! ❤️📚
I'm on my next trip.
Ha ha! Good plan! Thanks so much for your very kind words, Shelley! Have a wonderful trip! ❤️📚
Beautiful and impressive with books you are here, welcome, thank you📚❤️📚
Thank you so much! I'm so glad you're enjoying my channel ❤️📚
❤️
Thank you for the video, a good rest for my brain. I am taking a very intense teaching class, 6 University credits in four weeks, so all I have time to read is course texts. I hope to get some good reading before I start teaching in mid August.
I read The Reading List a half year ago and I loved it except for the death. I really do not understand why it was in the story, and I agree not a Comfort book club book.
Good luck with your course, Ingert! Hope you get time for some ‘just for you’ reading this summer!
Will check out your blog.
Love your Channel.
Thank-you.
Thanks so much for introducing me to Elizabeth Harbour. I just love her work!
My pleasure, Lynne! ❤️😊
I picked up Yellowface for my train journey to New York next month. It looks like just the thing!
Thanks so much! So happy you're enjoying it. I've read a non fiction book called The Library which I enjoyed if that's the one ❤️📚
Thanks so much, Debra! I've heard of it, but it's not one I've come across myself yet. Have a wonderful new week! ❤️📚
Lovely vlog as always Miranda. I do hope to visit York sometime soon and in particular the Bloom exhibition. The website is looking great! X
Thank you! Hope you manage to visit York soon! 💐
A most enjoyable and cosy video, thank you. I was also quite excited when I saw a bit of the park/ gardens because I suddenly remembered seeing my first grey squirrel there in June 2016 (on a visit from NZ). Also, I realise I have to read Celia Fremlin now. Meredith
Thanks so much for watching and your comment, Meredith! So happy the vlog brought back a happy memory too! She's such a good writer ❤️📚🐿
