When I first started watching your videos Miranda, I really was just interested in what books you recommended but as time has gone on I have come to love everything about them. From the charming decor of your home to cosy fires, cakes and tea- the list goes on! But what strikes me most of all is the wonderful relationship you have with your mum, Donna. You have such a mutual respect and admiration for each other. You are great friends. A truly special bond. Thanks for sharing these lovely moments with us.
Miranda, what a wonderful video as always! We are so delighted that you like you personalised stationery and it was so lovely to see it unboxed with such joy. We couldn't resist making you a set of notecards with your darling logo as an extra special touch. We hope that all the stationery brings you and those who recieve your letters much happiness. As a side note to your followers, as I've seen a few comments, we do offer shipping to the USA, as well as the UK - as I know a few were hoping to get some. Many thanks again Miranda for showing our small business to you wonderful subscribers 💌 It means the world to have such great support!
Thank you so much again for the truly wonderful surprise package - as you can tell from the video, I was really over-the-moon, and I can't wait to use your beautiful stationery. That's great to know you shop abroad too! ❤️ ✉️
I want to reach this level of enlightenment that your mom has, to reread, rewatch and revisit the things that once gave me pleasure, instead of feeling an "obligation" to expand my cultural capital. My goal is to gain this balance that she shows to have.
You are so quiet and comfortable. After such videos and after an inner experience, I realized that I wanted to return to my Siberian village. I love cities, they have all the amenities. But it's so difficult here. Sometimes it seems that people run and do not notice their lives. Today I called my mother and said that I want to go home. Today I have probably made the most important decision of my life. But everything will depend on the availability of work. Will they take me as a teacher to the school or not. The school is small, but maybe something will work out. Thanks for your warmth💕
The image of you and your mom sitting by the fire and enjoying a cup of tea with a citrus cake is the very image of a cozy winter evening. 💖 Extra big thanks goes to Donna for showing the photograph which inspired Jim Crumley, it's so cool you had a book with it, such a lovely coincidence! Warm greetings from Mexico
One of my new habits for January is sleeping in an hour on Sunday mornings so I can enjoy your video with my tea and toast! It is definitely winter here today, with a deep cover of snow and -20C outside. My reading selection has taken a “holiday” from winter however as I am reading “The Darling Buds of May” , inspired by one of your earlier videos. I am so enjoying it! I loved watching you open your sale treasures. Your videos inspire me and brighten my day!
The cake looks delicious, you are a wonderful cook! You managed to fill up your vlog with so many lovely things: candles, mugs, plates, books, beauty tips and cakes! It’s always so pleasant to watch it, thank you very much for brightening up a winter afternoon.
'Apricot Skies'has been noted down in my common place book! What a perfect description to warm our hearts and enjoy wintering! You and Donna have really helped each one of us to embrace this winter season and instead of wishing for Spring to rush into our lives, just to enjoy the what is often called the simple things in life...which really are the gems!xx
Beautiful candle, I wish I could smell it ! Your videos are so cosy, and they often make me hungry watching you cook and taste those delicious cakes. This month I read "Fire in the thatch" by ECR Lorac, several cosy mysteries (Agatha Raisin, the Yorkshire Detectives , and lady Hardcastle ), "Chevreuse" by Patrick Modiano and I am currently reading "All things wise and wonderful", a treat.
Another beautiful video. The care you take in the subjects and scenery you present is medicine for the soul. Your videos have become a part of my morning ritual! I am especially happy with you mentioning the novel She and Her Cat. I was raking my brain trying to come up with a birthday gift for my niece and this book will be perfect!
How lovely to part of your morning routine, Dana! Thank you so much for your lovely words, and I'm so glad I could help out with a gift idea. It's a very sweet book! xxx
Dear Miranda and Donna, such a stunning introduction to this journal and what treats followed. My daughter has an impressively tall stack of the Emma Bridgewater cake plates and it's always a delight to delve into the cupboard to see which one is next to use - so I, too, treated myself to some in the sale which, as you say, is always so good and I am hoping to replicate a tall pile of cake plates! And then what better than the baking and recipe following that to enjoy. Donna, on the island, over the years since I've lived here, there has been quite an increase in the number of little egrets and on a Winter's walk they fly up from the mud flats and take your breath away with their beauty, I will always think of you when I see one now. Thank you so much for sharing so many lovely things. Best wishes, Teresa ps. thank you for the music link - I am off for a cosy afternoon of listening x
Hi Miranda, I enjoy the beauty, and serenity of your videos. I live in such a busy, loud town. The cake you made looks so delicious,I love anything with Marmalade in it.I love that you feature books that other book tubers don't talk about, which is so refreshing. I love the outfits you wear in all your videos, you always look so lady like. It's unusual to see someone of your generation feature stationery and be excited about it ! I have always loved stationery and it was a "right of passage" to receive a box of stationery with your monogram on a colored paper of your choice when I was younger. I felt so grown up when I received my first box ! Letter writing is a lost Art,especially in the USA. As a matter of fact, people rarely send cards for Birthdays, or Christmas anymore, instead choosing to send emails, and texts...so impersonal ! I love receiving cards, and letters in the mail, so much joy instead of the monthly "bills". I wish I had such a wonderful relationship with my Mom as you do with your mother. Your videos fulfill such things in my life, Thank You ! Happiness, Cindy
Thank you so much for your lovely comment, Cindy! I'm so glad you enjoyed this video. I had 17 pen-pals as a teenager: I've always been an old soul! xxx
Lovely…… I have now watched a few videos and I am enjoying them very much! Finding book ideas and also just making me feel calm and giving me a lovely feeling.Your mum is so sweet and lovely too! You two are so adorable. 🧡
Thoroughly enjoyed WIntercombe! A book I probably wouldn't have read had I not seen your mention of it. Will be starting the second in the series this week. Am so glad I found you and your mom! I enjoy every post! So nice to have two posts a week now. Thank you!
Another wonderful vlog! A few videos ago you talked about that "Year of Wonder, Classical Music for Every Day" book, and I thought it such a fantastic idea. I still haven't gotten the book, but I've made it a habit of listening to some classical music as well as other peaceful and beautiful music pieces every morning as I drink my coffee. It's a moment of pure peace and delight, where it's just me, coffee and music... and it truly DOES help with getting on with a busy day afterwards! I loved all the lovely things in your video, but I've now a weakness for tea towels, lol However I use them a bit differently; my favorite place to read is at the kitchen table, with a candle burning, music in the background, and now a beautiful tea towel under my book, LOL I swear that it does add to the enjoyment of the book! LOL Anyway, Miranda, thank you so much for the time and effort you put into these wonderful videos. I SO look forward to them!
With all those cardboard boxes and She and Her Cat - you have to get a cat now! I once knew some people who got up earlier on the weekends to make their days off longer. I have to admit this concept was totally alien to me who loves to snuggle down in the mornings but it's an interesting way of thinking. I loved the candle, all the china and your lovely teatime cake with your mum. xx
another week passes ... enjoyed watching your video today, with a hot cuppa tea. So enjoy when your Mum appears. Let her know that I picked up a couple of Sybil Marshall books that I think she recommended in one of your past videos. "A Nest of Magpies" will be the 1st one I read I think. I've noted a lot of authors and titles in my TBR notebook - that you and your Mum have suggested/read. Thank you for sharing your beautiful view too! your stationery was adorable - love cake and tea-cups! xo Jacqueline
I saw this last night, a regular Sunday evening treat! I love your considered and curated taste, all of a style. I'll definitely be making a marmalade cake!! see you next time.
Dear Miranda, I’m late to discover your blog, but became addicted ..🤩💕🤩 Your are such a lovely Lady and your Mom as well ! Wishing both of you Love and Happiness in New Year 2024 ! 🥰
Thank you Miranda for another wonderful vlog - it’s packed with so much while at the same time it’s relaxing. Was very interested in your daily routine, skincare etc. Everything was interesting and fun!
I loved The Willows in Winter when I read it a few years ago. I might reread it this year. I always reread The Wind in the Willows every spring so this would make a nice addition to my tradition. Now I just need a Willows book for summer and autumn!
William Horwood did write more seasonal books in the series - Toad Triumphant (spring / summer) and The Willows and Beyond (autumn). And ofc The Willows at Christmas! xxx
Miranda, I have been loving the music, photography and written comments at the beginning of your vlogs - beautiful, insightful and lovely reminders to live in the moment and pay attention to the beauty that surrounds us daily. Donna, I also enjoy re-reading favorite books, something I started doing at the beginning of the pandemic when our library was closed. It gives me the pleasure and comfort of long visits with old friends and I always find something in each re-read that resonates with my current life. Hope you both have an enjoyable week (and the cake looks delish!)💕
Thank you Miranda for your video today. They are perfect for a cozy Sunday, one that takes me away from the world for a while. Exactly what many of us need. ❤️
Fab vlog, Miranda, and love your new candle - stunning artwork 😍 I also finished Wolves of Willoughby Chase and Willows in Winter and absolutely adored both of them! I especially loved the cozy scene in Wolves where Pattern puts the girls to bed and it describes the luxe bedding and the rose scented nightlight...so charming.
It was lovely to see your reaction when you opened the stationary package from Susel & Co. I simply loved all the stickers and those beautiful writing papers. My inner child loves everything about stationary as well!! What a lovely chat with your mom in the end of the video. Nice week ! xx
Your outfits were fabulous throughout the vlog but I especially loved the floral one during the reading roundup. I also read She and her Cat and enjoyed it, but my favourite book this month was Fredrik Backman's My Grandmother sends her regards and apologises. A book that takes you through so much joy, sorrow, friendship and family through the eyes and mind of a 7 year old girl. Highly recommended. Thank you for such a lovely, chatty video.
Enjoyed this so much. Kind of wish I'm one of those neighbors, especially when you bake. 😂. You have such good taste in your choices. The mugs were gorgeous. And the stationary. Love all stationary. My reading has mostly been meh. With one exception, I reread The Wolves of Willoughby Chase. Gosh that was good. Oh, and I wanted to tell you I just ordered my first Slightly foxed book. A Countryman's winter. Might take a while to get here but I look forward to it. Anyways, as always I love your vlogs. Hi to your Mum. Thank you Miranda. 📚🤗💕💕
Thank you Diane!! I’m so pleased you enjoyed The Wolves of Willoughby Chase - such a great book!! And I love that SF one. Have a lovely start to the week xxx
Dear Miranda, another beautiful vblog. I'm always inspired by your wonderful suggestions, thank you so much. I have just finished my lunch, so a slice of that amazing cake would be just perfect 😄Your blue dress is so beautiful, I love dresses with buttons 🥰 Have a nice day! 😘📚
I tried the Double Serum by Clarins since you’ve mentioned it in another video and it’s truly amazing! I could see a difference on my skin after one application. Thank you for sharing! 😊
Another beautiful episode, thank you Miranda. Lovely to see your Mum Donna again too. Thoroughly enjoyed all the content especially the countryside, baking 😋 and books. Have been trying to keep good evening and morning routine to help with sleep and general well being and it definitely does make a difference. Have always assumed you and your Mum have a good ski care regimen as you both have beautiful complexions. The Mask would definitely help me as I have quite few wrinkles or as I call them my laughter lines. I must laugh a lot 😂 Thanks again for a lovely episode
I was inspired to make the marmalade and tracked down the Ma Made oranges at a British import store in Maine. It’s such a lovely treat to enjoy on grey winter days. This week I’ll try the orange and poppy seed cake. Thanks for providing the recipe!
Lynn here on Hubby's phone 😏, Awwww Miranda your videos are so relaxing , I feel like I've had some sort of therapy when I've watched one 🤗 and your cakes always look Amazing, I really need to get in gear and do some baking , it's not easy nowadays with my Arthritis , Look forward to your next one 😊 Thank You so much for sharing, Take Care Love xx
Thanks! I leave it up to my mum how much she wants to be in my videos: this isn’t a joint channel; I offer some glimpses of our life together as is natural from living together. But my mum has no desire for UA-cam herself! Xxx
I love your videos! I find them beautifully done and so inspiring! Thank you for sharing your life with us! Have you ever given a tour of your home? I am so interested in the art/murals on the walls!
Oh yum! I do like Nigel Slaters recipes too. I have tiny paperback recipe books of his. His Christmas Chronicles or other holiday book eas Marvelous lastvyear, ceven to gaze at and read.
Another wonderful vlog Miranda! You reminded me of how much I too love Miss Silver - so cosy! Although at the moment I am reading A Pale Blue Eye by Louis Bayard, which I am very impressed by. The writing is superb, and I would like to read more by him. I love historical mysteries! 😘
Hi Miranda, Another wonderful video. I love all of your lovely homeware and the stationery set is wonderful. The cake you made looked amazing! I wish my cakes came out like that! Enjoyed the chat you had with your Mum. Xx
Wonderful vlog as always.🤩 So interesting to hear about your morning rituals and the LED mask. I bought a red light therapy box (EMR tek) some months ago mainly targeting my face/gums (supposed to enable cellular regeneration!) as well as my neck/back of head to ease some aching. Has been fab. 😊. The year of wonder book is next on my list 😍 I soooo LOOOOVE the daily/calender aspect intergrated which reminds me of a book ive been using for years as part of my morning 'Simple Abundance: A Daybook of Comfort and Joy' (95) which has the same format and seasonal aspect as well. xx
Thank you for another wonderful and inspiring video Miranda, I loved everything! Those opening scenes with the silvery frosty trees are stunning. I’m very taken with your idea of getting up at the same time every day and I think I’m going to try it. I find especially on weekends the time often slips away before I’ve got half the things I want to do done, so this will help, plus I’m hoping it has a beneficial effect on my sleep too. All your sale purchases look wonderful, and I enjoyed your January reading wrap up. I’ve reserved the Willows in Winter at the library, having enjoyed The Willows at Christmas on your recommendation. And I am definitely going to bake that delicious looking cake!
That cake looks wonderful and what a wonderful Emma Bridgewater order. I’ve been rereading some Agatha Christie after how much I enjoyed 4.50 from Paddington ☺️
Thank you, Miranda, for another month of wonderful recommendations. In particular, I’m loving Wintercombe and the Davines Salt Scrub - my hair thanks you, too! Looking forward to February’s vlogs. Enjoy the rest of your week 📚 🫖 ❤️
Thank you so very much for your lovely support, Lindsey! I'm so pleased you're enjoying Wintercombe and the Davines Salt Scrub too!. Hope you've got a lovely February ahead ♥️
Thank you, Miranda. Always a treat to see your videos, and love that I am able to "visit" with you more often. I ordered A Year of Wonder and The Willows in Winter just now!
It's the first time I've listened to your UA-cam, but after following you on Instagram decided it was time to. How pleased I am, firstly it was so lovely and I enjoyed your shopping unwrapping but secondly I have been trying to find the series by Pamela Belle for years now to no avail so you can imagine how amazing it was to hear Silence mentioned. I borrowed the series years ago from our local library. Many Many thanks.
I read/listen to off and on with my daughter. I start doing it, veer off the path, and then pick up again, lol.. thank you for another peaceful and cozy vlog.
Miranda! Stylish even in your morning garb! If someone else asked- my apologies for the repeated question- who makes your dressing gown and night dress?
Love your vlogs. Thank you for so many wonderful ideas and for the beautiful aesthetic of your home and surroundings. I always feel so cozy after a good watch. I have read all the Miss Marples, many times over, and am looking for something new to read. What is your Mom's or your favorite Miss Silver. Do you have a good place to start? I am in desperate need of an intelligent and mature female amateur sleuth! All the new cozy mysteries just have too many silly girls wanting too much romance. And if you like cozy mysteries have either of you tried the Fethering Mysteries by Simon Brett? Love the 2 mature female sleuths and their quirky relationship. I highly recommend. Thank you again for the cozy! :) Kat
Wow! I'm really overwhelmed by your amazing generosity, Julie!! Thank you so very much indeed!! It's so kind of you, and I really really appreciate it! What an amazing surprise to see this morning. Thank you for your lovely words as well ❤️ ❤️
Awww I’m so happy that it made for a good surprise this morning! Your videos have brought so much beauty, comfort and coziness to my life. Your book recommendations have so enriched my reading life and it has been so fun to be building my little home library and adding beautiful china and stationary, etc to my home life. I value and appreciate you and your lovely videos and really wanted to thank you! Looking forward to Sunday’s video! 💐💗📚
I loved this vlog and the cup of tea you give your mum every morning in bed. I couldn't find a cosier and lovelier habit!!!!! Your unpacking moment was wonderful too! I wish you a lovely week!!!!!
Gorgeous, cosy and lovely. I was excited to see what you chose from the EB sale. I fell for a few pieces too and can't wait for them to arrive. I have ordered a commonplace book after seeing you & your lovely mum writing industriously in yours on one of your last vlogs. Maybe I will have more luck with a commonplace book than I have had with journalling. My house (and life!) are littered with incomplete journals; I start with gusto & founder after a few days. Thank you for the quality and integrity of your vlogs and recommendations Miranda, your standards are impeccable. X
Thank you so much for your lovely words, Penny! I hope you enjoy keeping a commonplace book a go - I think it's a very low pressure form of journaling, which is nice! I'm so glad you enjoy my videos. Hope you have a wonderful start to the week ❤️
I really enjoyed reading ‘Wintercombe’ especially as I knew the areas that were mentioned. Thank you so much for your recommendation and the cake looked wonderful
i got inspired to keep a commonplace book from you! and im enjoying it so much. also read wolves of Willoughby chase , it reminded me the movie ' company of wolves' . loved it!
Ooh! The Company of Wolves is my favourite film. I must read Wolves of Willoughby. The Company of Wolves was based on a short story by Angela Cater. Love it.
This video made me want to bake a loaf cake. My daughter and son-in-law come over for dinner every Saturday and I told them I was going to try some new desserts this year. Next weekend...loaf cake. 😊 I just love your videos, Miranda. They always inspire me to live a more beautiful life.
That sounds so fun! Hope you and your daughter and son-in-law enjoy the cake. Thank you so much for your kind words - I'm so glad you enjoy my videos! xxx
I must get the Another Year of Wonder. I’ve been so tempted by the Emma Bridgewater sale emails but so far I’m holding strong 😊. I’m trying to be more intentional on purchases this year and dial down the amount of buying, but I have been so sorely tempted. I love the candlestick you chose especially. And the Fragonard candle is gorgeous! The stationery is absolutely darling and I have to see if they offer shipping to the US. The cake looks delicious too. Of course, the reading section is one of my favorite parts of the vlog, which is saying a lot because I adore every minute I get to spend with you. Thank you, Miranda and I hope you have a wonderful week ahead. 💕
Isn't this just such a wonderful video! I hope Miranda won't mind us letting you know, we do ship our stationery to the USA :) We'd love to help you experience the same joy Sandy!
I need to get so much better with my sleep patterns. I’m dreadful with them. Completely concur on the benefit and joy of starting the day with Another Year of Wonder, it’s become such a great part of my mornings. On the subject of tea and cake. Thanks for recommending Benjamina’s A Good Day To Bake, the parsnip, orange and ginger loaf was a winner. Looks like you had a lovely reading month. And loved the tea, cake and book chat with Donna at the end.
I'm so pleased that you introduced Patricia Wentworth. I just recently discovered her and have read "Miss Silver Comes to Stay" and am looking forward to collecting her the rest of her work. Always enjoy your vlogs! Greetings from Hamilton, Ontario.
Dear Miranda, Thank you so much for this wonderful vlog. It is always such a joy to watch your videos. Now I'm really curious about the music book and I will probably get it and try this morning ritual as well. You are just so inspiring. I started reading a poem every day using a book you recommended in an earlier video and I'm enjoying this very much. Have a lovely week!!
Thank you so much for your lovely comment, Inga! I'm so glad you're enjoying reading a poem a day, and I so recommend the Year of Wonder books. I'm learning so much by listening to such an interesting range of classical music, and I love having such a peaceful start to the day. Hope you have a wonderful week ahead! ❤️
Really enjoyed this vlog. Beautiful Emma Bridgewater items! The Fragonard candle was stunning - I received the Fragonard Fleur d’oranger diffuser for Christmas and it smells amazing! This month has been crazy busy for me so unfortunately haven’t been able to read as much as I would have liked. Have nearly finished 4.50 From Paddington. I have read this before and think I can remember ‘who did it’ ! Very envious of your fire at the end, it looked so cosy 😀
Oh I bet the diffuser is lovely too! I'd like to try some more of their scents - I've been getting some of their free scent samples, and I think they're very nice! We absolutely love getting cosy by the fire - it doesn't get old!! xxx
Oh my gosh Amanda! You look wonderful w/o make up! You have natural beauty! I wish I had that great of skin when I was 36 , But I do know the best beauty comes from within and that you do have. Also what we eat and the supplements we take. Yes, red light therapy is really good for cell reproduction and soft tissue repair and healthier glowing skin. I use it for my digestion cause I have that problem. My naturopath told me to get one and use it 15 mins a couple times a week. Helps joint pain and headaches. I live everything you showed! How wonderful they all are! And the paper works: writing paper, note cards, envelopes … all with your name on them, i was excited with you! You have been so blessed! Oh, definitely enjoy every-single one if them!🌸🌸❤
Thank you so much for your kind words! Yes, I'm so pleased by how much the LED mask has helped my natural redness / skin tone. Eating well and staying hydrated are so important too, I agree. Hope you have a lovely week ahead ❤️
Wasn't that just a great video! I hope Miranda won't mind us letting you know, we do ship our stationery to the USA :) We'd love to help you experience the same joy Nina!
I enjoyed every minute of your Sunday vlog today, Miranda. That blood orange loaf looked so delicious. Thanks for the wonderful glimpses of your world in January. Happy week ahead! Bren xo
Hi Miranda, I've ordered the Another Year of Wonder by Clemency Burton-Hill book as it is just what I need to get me going in the morning. I have always loved classical music so this a good one for me. I retired in December 2022 and my sleeping patterns seem to have evaporated so I'll try and get myself into a workable sleep routine. I'm now able to spend more time with my landscape photography, so a regular sleep pattern will be a big help and starting each day with a positive thought is a definite plus. I'm going to have a go at Nigel Slater's recipe for orange poppy seed cake. I used to do a lot of baking but it suddenly stopped after a long period of depression, which I'm hoping retirement will eventually help make it disappear. My favourite bakes were cheese scones with chives or rosemary. My favourite cake was lemon drizzle from a recipe by Raymond Blanc. It's a lovely, warming recipe as it has dark rum in it. Paul
I recently received my copy of Seasons of Storm and Wonder based on your recommendation, I loved when your mom pulled out your copy and showed the picture!
Miranda I’m really enjoying these vlogs. I always love when you share recipes. Currently, I’m not allowing myself to buy anymore books but, your recommendations look tempting. Retinol, is great for skin turnover and it’s something I started using when I turned 30. Loved the mugs and stationery and as always loved hearing from the lovely Donna. Have a delightful week!
Thank you so much, Yvette! That's lovely of you to say . I am lucky to get on so well with my mum - we've always been great friends! ❤️
Well said !! These videos are a beautiful escape 🎉
My absolute favourite vlog. I look forward to them so much, it’s like sitting down with a friend and having a cosy chat!
Oh that's so lovely of you to say, Alisha - thank you! Really glad you enjoy my videos. Hope you have a wonderful start to the week 😊

You're just lovely and you and your mum brighten my days!
You are so kind, Gabriella! Thank you for your lovely words and support ❤️
I want to reach this level of enlightenment that your mom has, to reread, rewatch and revisit the things that once gave me pleasure, instead of feeling an "obligation" to expand my cultural capital. My goal is to gain this balance that she shows to have.
My mum is always a fabulous inspiration 😊

Haha, I love that! So glad you’re enjoying The Darling Buds of May - a welcome dose of spring! 💕
The cake looks delicious, you are a wonderful cook! You managed to fill up your vlog with so many lovely things: candles, mugs, plates, books, beauty tips and cakes! It’s always so pleasant to watch it, thank you very much for brightening up a winter afternoon.
Thank you so much, Laura! It's really a very easy recipe though (and so tasty! Highly recommend!). Thank you for your lovely words as always ❤️
Absolutely, it was perfect
'Apricot Skies'has been noted down in my common place book! What a perfect description to warm our hearts and enjoy wintering! You and Donna have really helped each one of us to embrace this winter season and instead of wishing for Spring to rush into our lives, just to enjoy the what is often called the simple things in life...which really are the gems!xx

The process of forming a new habit can be fun. That cake looks delicious. Your neighbors are lucky to get a slice!
Beautiful candle, I wish I could smell it ! Your videos are so cosy, and they often make me hungry watching you cook and taste those delicious cakes.
It's a very sweet book! xxx

Thank you, Teresa! How lovely to see egrets where you are! Xxx
Thank you for everything Miranda! I live vicariously through you in Yorkshire 😂
Thank you.

I had 17 pen-pals as a teenager: I've always been an old soul! xxx
Love the opening shot of bare winter trees. And such lovely stationery.
Your videos always put a smile on my face. Thank you so much, Miranda. The way you see life is beautiful. Greetings from Portugal
Thank you!
Such a nice way to start the week....
What a wonderful and cozy video!I enjoyed every minute of it not wanting to end. Thank you Miranda!❤
So glad you enjoyed it, Monica! Thank you 💕
With all those cardboard boxes and She and Her Cat - you have to get a cat now!
So glad you enjoyed it! Thank you! ❤️
Thanks
Thank you so much for your wonderful support, Leanne! It's so kind of you, and I really appreciate it ❤️
I loved The Willows in Winter when I read it a few years ago.
And ofc The Willows at Christmas! xxx
@@MirandaMills yay!! 🎉🥳👏
Thank you so much, Nancy! ❤️
Thank you Miranda for your video today. They are perfect for a cozy Sunday, one that takes me away from the world for a while. Exactly what many of us need. ❤️
I'm so glad it provided some pleasant escapism, Cheryl! Take care ❤️
Thank you Shawna! Oh yes I love that scene too - she’s so lovely to both girls!
Thank you Miranda ❤️♥️
Comforting as always ❤️
It was lovely to see your reaction when you opened the stationary package from Susel & Co. I simply loved all the stickers and those beautiful writing papers. My inner child loves everything about stationary as well!! What a lovely chat with your mom in the end of the video. Nice week ! xx
Thank you, Martha! I was really blown away by the lovely gift from Susel & Co and their attention to detail! xxx
Thanks for the motivation to bake a cake. I’m going to make a lemon orange pound cake this week because of your cake. My mouth is watering!!!
Sounds great! Happy baking! xxx
Thanks for the recommendation, Gill! xxx
I have a pink kitchenaid. Love it!
That stationery is so gorgeous! Your Sunday videos are such a lovely treat for the end of the weekend x
January was a bit hectic for me too, so I feel all the more grateful for all of your January videos that were brightening up my days. 💛
I'm so glad you enjoyed my videos! I hope you've got an easier February ahead ❤️
Gracious 🏵️
I tried the Double Serum by Clarins since you’ve mentioned it in another video and it’s truly amazing! I could see a difference on my skin after one application. Thank you for sharing! 😊
Oh I'm so glad you love it too! ❤️
Thank you so much for your kind words, Mhairi! Laughter lines are definitely a good thing 😃 xxx
A beautiful and wonderful video as always. Love to you and your mum from America. I look forward to the next one. 🙏🏻💕
Thank you so much!
I was inspired to make the marmalade and tracked down the Ma Made oranges at a British import store in Maine. It’s such a lovely treat to enjoy on grey winter days. This week I’ll try the orange and poppy seed cake. Thanks for providing the recipe!
That's wonderful! So glad you enjoyed making the marmalade, and I definitely recommend giving this cake a try 🧡
Great blog Miranda! I’m keen to follow up on the classical music book ❤
I adore Donna’s short appearances in your vlogs! I’m actually always interested in what she’s up to and reading, so more wrap ups from Donna please 🥰
Lovely vlog, Miranda. Thank you.
Thanks so very much for your lovely words and generous support, Angela. I'm so appreciate your kindness ❤️
Hi Miranda,
Another wonderful video. I love all of your lovely homeware and the stationery set is wonderful. The cake you made looked amazing! I wish my cakes came out like that! Enjoyed the chat you had with your Mum. Xx
Thanks so much, Jayne
Isn’t your mum lucky to have tea delivered to her bedroom every morning. ☺️ The two of you have such a nice relationship.
Loved the vlog. Must say you are glowing 😊 Loved the playlist as well. . I just might get myself an Emma Bridgewater mug¡!Thank you
Thank you so much! ❤️
Thank you so much for your lovely comment and very kind support, Hilary! I really appreciate it. Those are two lovely books - hope you enjoy them! xxx
So glad you watched and enjoyed, Debbie! I share a lot of gems exclusively on here! xxx
@@MirandaMills I will be watching all in future 🙂
I read/listen to off and on with my daughter. I start doing it, veer off the path, and then pick up again, lol.. thank you for another peaceful and cozy vlog.
Lovely video! That cake looks wonderful. I have started reading Wintercombe and am loving it so far. Thank you for all you do.
Miranda! Stylish even in your morning garb! If someone else asked- my apologies for the repeated question- who makes your dressing gown and night dress?
Thank you! The dressing gown is an old one from TOAST & the nightgown is from Sian Esther: sianesther.co.uk/
:) Kat
You and I are only a year apart! You're a kindred spirit to me, I love all things books, stationery and tea time! Another perfect cosy vlog x
Thank you so much! xxx
Such a lovely, cozy vlog! The cake looks absolutely delicious! I also need to start the Miss Silver series!
Thank you! Hope you enjoy giving Miss Silver a try! xxx
Thanks you so much for your wonderful videos! Much love and many thanks to you and your mom!
That’s so kind, Julie! Thank you so much ❤️ There will be a new vlog today as well as Sunday 😊
The cake looked delicious so I may have to try and veganise it so it is suitable for us. You and Donna are such a tonic
My recommendation for easy listening although not classical check out Lady Black Bird. Such a great voice and the soul music is really calming for me.
I loved this vlog and the cup of tea you give your mum every morning in bed. I couldn't find a cosier and lovelier habit!!!!! Your unpacking moment was wonderful too! I wish you a lovely week!!!!!
It’s definitely my favourite way to start the day 😄
@@MirandaMills I understand you perfectly!!!!!!🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰❤️❤️❤️❤️
Another video I just love! the books, the cake, the tea, and your Mum! I have to make that recipe! YUM! Hugs, Mary Ann
Thanks so much, Mary Ann! I'm glad you enjoyed it, and I highly recommend the cake! xxx
@@MirandaMills 🤗
So glad you enjoyed it! And yes, I highly recommend the cake! xxx
i got inspired to keep a commonplace book from you! and im enjoying it so much. also read wolves of Willoughby chase , it reminded me the movie ' company of wolves' . loved it!
I'm so glad! Thank you! 😃
Me too! Thanks to Miranda
Ooh! The Company of Wolves is my favourite film. I must read Wolves of Willoughby. The Company of Wolves was based on a short story by Angela Cater. Love it.
@@Blondie101010100 definitely try it , had that eerie vibe going on ,
Thank you for this really enjoy and loved the cake .❤
This video made me want to bake a loaf cake. My daughter and son-in-law come over for dinner every Saturday and I told them I was going to try some new desserts this year. Next weekend...loaf cake. 😊 I just love your videos, Miranda. They always inspire me to live a more beautiful life.
That sounds so fun! Hope you and your daughter and son-in-law enjoy the cake. Thank you so much for your kind words - I'm so glad you enjoy my videos! xxx
I've just found your channel but I'm already in love. It's always a pleasure to find a fellow tea/cake enthusiast :)
Welcome! And thank you very much!
Thank you so much, Sandy! I'm so glad you enjoyed the video! Hope you have a lovely start to the week too ❤️
Isn't this just such a wonderful video!
So glad you're enjoying Benjamina's recipes too, Simon! Have a great start to the week 😊
I'm so pleased that you introduced Patricia Wentworth. I just recently discovered her and have read "Miss Silver Comes to Stay" and am looking forward to collecting her the rest of her work. Always enjoy your vlogs! Greetings from Hamilton, Ontario.
Thank you so much, Sue! That's great you're enjoying the Miss Silver books too 😊
I’m always so delighted by the beauty of your home, it’s magical ❤️
Dear Miranda,
Thank you so much for this wonderful vlog.
We absolutely love getting cosy by the fire - it doesn't get old!! xxx
Love your content - thank you for all the wonderful book recommendations !
That's so kind of you, Irene! Thank you very much for your lovely support ❤️
Loved your vlog this morning! Wish I could order the cute stationary but being in the USA won’t work for shipment.
Maybe in future 🤞
I hope so!
Wasn't that just a great video! I hope Miranda won't mind us letting you know, we do ship our stationery to the USA :) We'd love to help you experience the same joy Nina!
Another lovely vlog. I loved all the beautiful sale gifts. Your cake looked so tasty so I must try & make it. Thank you Miranda 🏴
Thank you, Christine! The cake is delicious - and keeps very well too! Highly recommend 😊 xxx
🎯💐Wow! Love your self care routine.
Your book recommendations are great.
The Cake 🎂 definitely looks delicious.!!
Enjoyed.Thanks & bestwishes.. 💐🙏♾️
Thanks so much! 😊
I enjoyed every minute of your Sunday vlog today, Miranda. That blood orange loaf looked so delicious. Thanks for the wonderful glimpses of your world in January. Happy week ahead! Bren xo
Thank you so much, Bren! I'm so glad you enjoyed the video, and I highly recommend the cake 😊
Paul
Love your vlog💖
I recently received my copy of Seasons of Storm and Wonder based on your recommendation, I loved when your mom pulled out your copy and showed the picture!
Lovely video as usual. Hope you ladies have had a good weekend. Looking forward to Thursdays video.
Thank you Moira! Hope you've had a lovely weekend too! xxx
Not even two minutes in and this video is both helpful and inspiring ❤
So glad! Thank you! 💕
So glad you're enjoying the vlogs! Thank you xxx
Your skin care regime is definitely working. You have lovely skin!
Oh thank you! ❤️
