As an Elvis fan, I love how everyone loves Elvis, regardless of whether they are actors, rappers, soul singers etc

Fun fact: I saw an interview with one of The Sweet Inspirations where she said when they joined Elvis in 1969 they had to learn all of his songs. He sang requests that audience members shouted out, and he would often just get an urge to sing a song that wasn't on the song list so they had to know all of them.
Elvis went full out even in rehearsal to, with stylish clothes (as always) and sucha funny man to. Many has not seen that side of him. Great reaction
Almost everyone he knew said he had a nervous energy about him, and he always moved around - and music made him move even more - and all his movement on stage was spontaneous - he did what he wanted to and his band kept a close watch on him and followed were he went
Jane H commenting …. I love watching Elvis’ rehearsals. He loved to clown around, & it must have given such a relaxed atmosphere to the rehearsals, yet when it was time to focus, Elvis focused. His voice was just so amazing that his voice is just as good in rehearsals as it is on stage. Elvis did all of his own musical arrangements, even when he had an orchestra on stage with him. He was quite a genius when it came to arranging the music & arranging the back up singers, & then putting it all together as he sang. That’s why you will often see him throwing a look towards back up singers, or cueing the guitarists or drummer to come in, or bringing it all to a close at exactly the right moment at the end of a song.

Elvis done the majority of his musical arrangements athough he didn't read music he knew exactly what he wanted and his band couldn't take their eyes off him for .a second because he rarely done a song the same way twice.

Once again, you found one that I haven't seen before. I have played in bands almost all of my life been in the recording studio lot and had the privilege to play with a lot of people that are really good and also had a really tight band for about 20 years. I'm nearly 60. So of course I love anything that's rehearsal oriented especially when you get to look into a rehearsal with Elvis and this wonderful fantastic band. They were so good.
Another great reaction KeeSeeY. As others have mentioned, Elvis always moved around because of his nervous energy, it didn't matter if it was a rehearsal or on stage, he moved when he felt the music!
I don't think he was any different in the recording studio. He just moved - not just for an audience. Love his rehearsals. This is great to dance to btw! Especially the live 1970 version. It's awesome 👌

Yea, Elvis had lyric sheets at times and did 4 shows a day
No Elvis didn't rehearse dance moves. Everything is spontaneous. If you watch on you tube then you will find he does not have the same moves for the same song.
He got that from his mother, just moving to the music as they felt at that moment.
