Only elvis he makes every song his own. He puts his little twist and twirls to it nobody else does that. It's his feelings and emotions the song comes alive. @JOHN I just finished listening to Beyond again and I really do like that song as I said the first time I heard it there's parts of it one part anyway that where you sound a little bit like Paul McCartney it sounds a little bit like the Beatles music in the background just just for a little bit but mostly it is John Gibson who one day everybody will know who John Gibson is AKA Elvis Junkie

Elvis was so much better when he finally put his foot down and said(finally) he would pick his own songs! He did that before Parker took over and that's what made him so popular and successful in the beginning!! He hated the songs he had to do in the movies! After he started picking his own songs again he was more popular than ever as witnessed 50 years after his death! Our youth is just now discovering him and are blown away!

One thing that I pick up about Elvis is that it's like he consciously super consciously decided to have the courage of his convictions which is to put his heart and soul in every song which is why I think he was so successful because people 1 to know he meant the songs shell along with his extraordinary handsome looks and his wisdom god-given talents he pleased God by exalting the gifts that were meant to touch people

One of my absolute favourite songs because, as you said: his warm voice fits so perfect, the arrangements are, as all in this time of his career, superb... and still it is like with so many other of Elvis' songs: they are really "underestimated". I am A Fan since 73, l really do like the songs from 69 until the last recording Session because his voice was getting better and better. Sadly from my point of view RCA had, if any, a very strange Plan to release the songs. Many wonderful songs from Elvis was just Single-flip-side, never made it to a LP... or did not get the Promo they deseved...
I am leavin' is another good example... also most of the Srax recordings...
