It was a huge opening night in Vegas. The were a lot of big stars in the audience - such as Cary Grant. Elvis was celebrating his 5 year movie contract ending with MGM. Now he could do what he wanted... Anyway, this concert was a really big deal and he knocked the ball out of the park. It was a resounding success!
When I was in school in the 80s there were kids who wanted to be thought of as cool so they'd use Elvis Presley's way of talking, saying ' man ' at the end of every sentence. I didn't even realize at the time that it was an Elvis imitation. That was just the accepted way to talk if you wanted to be thought of as cool. He was the most influential performer of them all.
Elvis was so humble and a very compassionate person, that’s just how is was created by God ‘ hopefully he won in the long run and got to see the great man who created us all 🙏🇺🇸
I was fortunate enough to see Elvis perform at the International Hotel back in 1972, it was ABSOLUTELY EPIC, he was in excellent shape and gave a performance of a lifetime..❤
