Elvis could handle any song... he was awesome what a great entertainer, no one has ever matched him and never will
Listen to Elvis Presley you’ll never walk alone
2 things about this UA-camr that's unique. He never asks people to subscribe. Second thing is he's a deep thinker. Trust 💯
Mazing fantastic really 👏 performance elvis presley the greatest 👏 💙
It's neat that he is singing a Beatles song Get Back.
Absolutely bloody brillant
This is from the 1970 documentary film ELVIS THATS THE WAY IT IS
Yes ELVIS always moving! I loooooove this rehearsals, and this song! ELVIS looks amazing! Thank you!
This video is an excerpt from the movie “ Elvis… That’s the way it Is” …. It captures Elvis backstage hanging out with his band , doing the rehearsals and then the actual “ Live” concert performances on stage in Las Vegas in 1970 at the International Hotel / Casino
Love him goofing around - he had such a wicked sense of humour 💜💜
Love Elvis rehearsals lovely seeing him playing guitar good reaction
As a musician who has played in bands most of my life and also done a lot of arranging both live in in the studio, I just really love his band from this era. But even in those early days in the 1950s, little four-piece band with sometimes the Jordanaires joining for backing vocals, he always surrounded himself with the best performers and musicians. He was known even from the earliest days to be incredibly unpredictable and so they had to always be ready to follow and adjust. Which as a musician, and I love to improvise and all that, it's just so much fun and it's a really tight bonding experience for the people in the band. This is one of my favorite of his songs and I've sung it live many times, and that band while playing the guitar. It always got the audience going. But mostly I just love listening to him do it for sure.

Awesome to watch and listen to. These videos are priceless... wow! Love Elvis and the TCB band. Special moments on camera.. 👍👌⚡🎸🎶🎤🎼
He got shocked from the microphone and the carpet.
This is a live rehearsal even though it's recorded getting ready for his first Vegas show James Burton electric guitar Ronnie Tutt drums John Wilkerson need guitar I saw the guy's name now SCE ff bass guitar one of the best ever and and I just fella can't thank his first name sings harmony with Elvis and hansiness scarves and gets his perspiration on and throws for the girls so they can scream also hands in this water Etc Great band and of course a great man sitting on that chair wasn't that a handsome dude AKA Laura Elvis Junkie that was Jerry Chef that played bass guitar it's Charlie Hodge saying harmony with Elvis and handed him silk scarf
The rehearsals are great! Here's one with a little more action: Elvis Presley - Stranger In The Crowd [July 29, 1970 - Complete Rehearsal] (4:33).
Yes please react to this one. Good choice Kathi... 👍
I love the live version of Stranger In The Crowd AKA Elvis Junkie
Rehersal
The band went along with his change up from Little Sister to tbe Beatles Get back without any mistakes, probably without knowing he would do a change up. They are underrated band in my opinion.
only real bands can do that
Watch his movie That's the Way It Is the original Theatrical Version. You will see alot of Rehursing up to the opening at the International Hotel in Vegas. Very good movie.
Did you notice that spot or he got shocked by the microphone on his lips? It's better today than it was back then for sure, but it has happened to me playing live or in practice so many times. Back then a lot of the amps had polarity switches on the back, they could be positive negative or neutral and then you throw all that equipment together and a PA system and if some of the stuff is plugged into different electrical circuits, the voltage level floats and it may not be perfectly equal across all the circuits, mix all that together and you can get situations where if you're holding something like an electric guitar it's plugged into one circuit and you touch your lips to the microphone that the PA is plugged into a different circuit and maybe your polarity switch isn't right on your amp for the setting, you can get a really nasty shock. And that's what happened to him.
Also, Get Back is a Beatles song and so it was hilarious that in the middle of little sister, which is an Elvis song that they actually already knew really well, he just takes it into the Beatles song and if you notice, the band follows immediately. I really love the fact that his amazing drummer Ronnie Tutt immediately adjusts what he's doing to sound just like the Ringo Starr drum part in rhe Beatles song. And the keyboards and everybody, it just works so well and then he just keeps going back and forth in and out of it, laugh.
Great recording, he was such a talent. Saw the movie a couple of weeks ago and enjoyed it a lot.
I believe you're thinking of Johnny B Goode, which Elvis covered in several live shows.
Great 👍 I was lucky enough to see that Guitar and clothes from these rehearsals last wk in London then you watch this and it brings home how sureal it was
I agree that medley is spelled funny🤣
The Get Back song is one that was a Beattles song.
Fuck me tha voice u can hear it oooo so raspy n sweet n soulful 👌🏽
The best tune is a the end of this complete clip is when Elvis does a cover of Ray Charles's "What'd I Say." Better than any he did on sage. E's band could launch into any of the 600 song catalogue they did too at a moment's notice.
Can you please react to The Impossible Dream (Madison Square Garden, 1972)
2 good rehearsal video suggestions: (1) rehearsing "Polk Salad Annie" in the Vegas hotel Showroom at ua-cam.com/video/hv6Epy3pjUc/v-deo.html (very good quality) & (2) rehearsal @ MGM studios at ua-cam.com/video/GJo3O3QIBJk/v-deo.html (this is also real good quality). Thanks so much for your reactions.
