Both good tvs, if going samaung definitely go crystal uhd series, not their affordable and great picture quality
Their crystal UHD series is their most affordable and therefore not their best TV's. The QLEDS are the better option if you don't want to pay for their premium QD OLEDS.

I have the cu 8000 like 6-7 months and I don't have that green problem.
Under Expert settings, I'd probably move the "Tint (G/R)" to see if that helps the picture. There's a lot of other things out there that will fix the green tint. I had a similar issue with my G9 OLED I just got a few days ago, and had to really dial in the settings to get it looking nice. Just the unfortunate thing about Samsung screens right now, they really need to be adjusted A LOT out of the box. Once that's done, they look great. But for the average user, they're not going to want to spend an hour adjusting colors. And that's if they even know how.
It’s defective and it’s just a studio demo. I will just call in the warranty
@@TechSteve yeh it definitely can be. When in doubt, it’s definitely best to return it, replace it, or take advantage of the warranty.

Hi Steve 9days ago you said the DU8000 had a greenish screen I agree. But a prior video dated around 2 months ago the same model didn’t Was the 9day old a faulty tv Did to get it taken care of. Would you chance getting a 55”8000 or the 55” 7200?
Far as color the DU7200 but no optical out, far as brightness the DU8000. I have called Samsung but i will have it fixed under warranty since I purchased that one
Good video. This is the exact reason why I only get flagships. No one wants to have to worry about panel lottery. S95C is still the best QDOLED picture wise in my opinion!
@@paulcox2447 I recommend the 77 inch Samsung S95C or 100 inch Hisense U8K!
Also S95C doesn’t have a matte screen and gets bright enough!

Do they both have VRR? On the samsung website it says they do but I noticed in your individual videos only the du7200 did.

In Canada the DU7200 is called DU7100. There is a DU7100 on the Samsung UK website, but also DU7170 and DU7110. They all appear to be exactly the same.

Hi Steve , That looks like a bad main board . Samsung should stand by this issue , but you will have your hands full trying to get them to fix it .
Samsung TV's are great when they are great , my 11 yr old F8000K had a similar issue only mine had a reddish tint and finally after about 3 months of use all HDMI inputs failed , at once . I finally convinced Samsung it needed repair and within 72 hours I had a new main board installed and did so in my home . After the tech was finished I could not believe my eyes , it was like a completely different TV and it has been that way for nearly 11 years this Sept. Good luck , but don't let Samsung win !! tech steve I done my research into lg c3 & sony A80L & lot people of youtube saying lg better for gaming & A80L better for films & upscale is this true
