I totally quit sugar 3 months ago because of inflammation pain in my joints. After the 3rd day, I was feeling so much better and now I have ZERO pain ! 👍🏻💪🏻😁
Nice one! I quit sugar 2 months ago to improve brain fog. Not only did it do that, but my skin has cleared up and all my joint pain is now gone! I feel 10 years younger.
I actually lost weight during the pandemic. I took that opportunity with all the lock downs, to eat healthier and get in shape. I’m down 20 pounds and feel great !!! No sugar !!
I'm a recovering alcoholic, six years sober, I am struggling to quit sugar. It's the same feelings/symptoms of addiction that alcohol had given me. It's mental. A mental obsession. I hate the control it has on me. I am convinced it's the addiction side of me that's causing this and I can categorically say that quitting sugar is harder than quitting drinking.
Love this, my body is forcing me to eat super healthy, the withdrawals are super uncomfortable but I’ve done it before and I can do it again now for life! Thank you!
So thankful I was brought up on Dr Weston prices book, nutrition and physical degeneration! Out of 5 children (born in the 1940s and 50s), none of us got cavities (until we grew up and moved away - army, college, etc) - nor were we addicted to sugar or processed foods at all.
Mike's comment about viewing "sugar is love" resonating with me - my Mom comforted me with treats ...I was 240 pounds when I was 12 years old. Finally got this figured out...
It is not only intake of sugar that leads to arthritis. Also sensitivity and intolerance to sugar may lead to arthritis. I was only taking natural fruits and no other sugar but my blood test was always showing border line sugar and had arthritis symptoms. After used energy medicines and Chinese medicine to open those chakra and meridians that are related to sugar metabolism, everything went back to normal. Unfortumately no one ever talk about the role of chakra and meridians in people health.
Absolutely, Mehdi. There are many factors that contribute to arthritis, and most auto-immune conditions. But I really wanted to highlight one factor that long-term research indicates leads to massive increase in risk for the condition.
This is amazing information! I did now know that alcohol use at a young age stopped emotional development. And sugar has a similar impact. That explains so much!
Thank you so much Mike for the way you explained the cravings. I had just decided that I was going to cut back on my sugar intake. It is so addictive. But I intend to fight hard too release myself from this addiction.
I was an alcoholic also for many years and in AA for 10 years. I lost my teeth because of sugar eating a lot of candy when I was young. Even after I left AA I was overweight. I just lost 26 pounds during this pandemic by eating every day at my Muslim friend's Thai restaurant. I NEVER COOKED ONCE during this pandemic. I said for many years that I wanted God to handle my weight loss. I had problems with my husband not talking to me. I have noticed yes too many Americans in general have gained weight, however, most of my friends from India and the people I see from Pakistan or other Muslim countries have not really gained weight and are not really overweight - only the Americans People are wondering why I lost so much weight and look so good while so many have gained weight. Of course I do exercise at the gym and I am also a martial artist.
@@painfixprotocol Thank you. Great message. Also Dr. Whitten I mention you to many people and have sent your emails to some people in the martial arts that I am in now for 17 years.
It makes me so anxious going to any social event because I have given up alcohol and now 5 days in , sugar and white flour! Family always has desert at every family meal and going out there are no alternative drinks with no sugar and no alcohol and I’m so tired of people judging me! Urgh
Good question, Jeannette. The answer will vary depending on who you're talking to, but me personally - I draw the line at processing/refinement. The turning of the natural form into a highly-concentrated form is what's most problematic.
Good question, S. Stephens. Erythritol does appear to have some major benefits over sugar: 1) much fewer calories 2) doesn't affect blood glucose or insulin 3) less harmful to teeth.

Within an hour of eating or drinking anything with high fructose corn syrup my fingers are swollen and stiff and have arthritic gout all over my body.
All roads lead to sugar 😂
Thanks fo rsharing amazing video ❤
So glad you enjoyed it, Lily!

Thanks Allan! I'm happy that you enjoyed the video.
That is such a good point! It helps in understanding people who get so upset and angry when anyone says something negative about sugar

That's great, Gwen! I'm so glad the video was helpful.

I know exactly what you mean. Stay strong!
Really excellent discussion!!! Thank you both!!!
Much appreciated, Eve. I'm glad you enjoyed it!
Reducing my ADDED sugar intake is one of my 2023 resolutions. I'm drinking a hot cocoa drink as I type this. Hey, it's not 2023 yet!
Use coconut sugar that's what I do
It's a good resolution, trade0714. Happy New Year!
Thank you! 😊
You're welcome!
I don't remember if you shared what to use instead of sugar. When you say sugar are you referring to all sugars? Thanks.
Good question, Jeannette. The answer will vary depending on who you're talking to, but me personally - I draw the line at processing/refinement. The turning of the natural form into a highly-concentrated form is what's most problematic.
Would the natural sweetener Erythritol be ok to substitute?
Good question, S. Stephens. Erythritol does appear to have some major benefits over sugar: 1) much fewer calories 2) doesn't affect blood glucose or insulin 3) less harmful to teeth.
Fake sugars will make you crave more sweets and tends to make people gain weight. 🤷🏼♀️
❤❤❤❤
Thank you!
Ps I am having major headaches 😭
So sorry to hear that! The good news is that symptoms that come on with dietary changes tend to fade away pretty quickly.
