We did the full roadtrip in three weeks. This itinerary gives you plenty of time to do even more or less activities.
FULL ITINERARY
3 Days Vancouver
2 Days Victoria (Whale watching)
2 Days Port Renfrew (Victoria)
1 Day Vancouver (Start roadtrip /hiking )
2 Days Whistler (hiking)
1 Day travel towards Kamloops
2 Days Mount Robson Park (Camp at Cowgirl Up adventures )
2 Days Jasper National Park (Camp at Wapiti)
1 Day Mosquito Creek (Icefield Parkway drive)
1 Day Camping Lake Louise
3 Days Banff (Camping Tunnel Mountain Village)
2 Days Calgary
Activities
I'll list most of the activities i'd recommend, feel free to also check the top tripadvisor activities. For hikes, I recommend just using Alltrails to see if there is a nice hike wherever you are! Some busy / popular tripadvisor things didn't really appeal to us, or were skipped due to time deficiency.

Around Kamloops we went to some random ranch. It was very interesting, but I cannot recall which. But i'm sure there are more around.

Camping tips:
Reserve best spots in advance reservation.pc...
National park passes / Discovery pass are cheaper second hand
Serviced campings are mostly bear free (well regulated not elk free though)
