Vancouver Island, off the coast of Vancouver, is a must-see destination for those who want to experience the true nature of Canada. It offers a lot of lakes, routes, rivers, waterfalls and mountains. It is also the world-renowned destination for whale watching, trout and salmon fishing. Most of the island is protected and here is the oldest provincial park in British Columbia; Strathcona Provincial Park. On a getaway to this incredible island you will find everything you are looking for. Everything… except cold. Since the temperature of the island is the most temperate of the entire country. It rarely goes below 0ºC in winter, and in summer they are around 28-33ºC.
