I hope you enjoy this labour of love!? I've made a downloadable PDF with all hotels and activities visited in this video: drive.google.com/file/d/1tH8uOy00hIO-CCW0px-MloToePMqB9WL/view?usp=share_link as well as a Banff Tips follow up video which is OUT NOW with loads more practical info for replicating parts of this trip. Enjoy!
The time you guys spend on making these videos really set them apart as respectful, mature stories on the places you two go. It really occupies a unique space within the travel vlog space and I look forward to each one!
As someone who lives in Canmore, just 20 minutes from the Town of Banff...all I can say is BRAVO! You captured and described our amazing stretch of mountains perfectly!!!
Coming from a local, that is music to my ears. Thank you so much for letting me know. We actually stopped in Canmore for a few hours on the drive back (not shown in the video). If we had longer I would’ve liked to have maybe been there a couple days too. Lovely place.
@TOS 360 Hi there. Canada is a very large country with many different climates and cost of living differences.. This video focuses on one small area in central Alberta where Tourism is the main industry. The cost of living here is high due to lack of affordable housing. As for "cold". Yes it can get chilly for a couple of months per year. But the rest are very moderate and nice.
@TOS 360 Alberta is much cheaper than British Columbia, but is also colder. British Columbia is (by far)the most expensive province in Canada, and also the warmest. In Vancouver, during winter, they don't get much snow, but they get a lot of rain. I personally prefer snow to rain... However, cold temperatures is not that bad when you know how to deal with it. You simply need to cover yourself with multiple layers of clothes, with some thick gloves and a beanie. If you want, you can also learn some winter sports like cross-country skiing or snowshoeing (which are both inexpensive) and then enjoy your free time outside during the weekend. A lot of people don't practice winter sports and thus stay inside all winter, which I personally find quite depressive
My husband asked me to pick a place to travel as my graduation gift, I wanted to travel to a magical place, I wanted something very special because brother getting a double degree has been tough. But you just convinced me, this is it. We're going to Canada Banff! Beautiful video!
My husband was born in Canada, left at 9 years old and longs to go back. He was watching this and said, “This fills my heart”. So, well done and thank you.
Finding this amazing video is what solidified my choice to vacation in Banff and Jasper this year. My husband and I have just returned 5 days ago from our 2 week trip here. It was absolutely magical. I am ready to write my own beautiful love letter to Canada. I'm so appreciative of your video that led my husband and I to one of the best vacations of our lives. The beauty we experienced is hard to put into words and rewatching your video today I have tears in my eyes as I am reminded of how special it was. PS. We saw 19 Bears , 15 black bear and 4 grizzly. I sang Hello Mr Bear on every hike. 🙂
I'm a Londoner who moved to Calgary in 2011. I do miss friends and family, and British pubs, but being so close to the mountains never gets old. I feel very lucky.
I've lived in Alberta, Canada my whole life, and even I watched every second of this video and enjoyed every moment. Excellent video, with wonderful commentary, and a tremendous sense of appreciation. When you called this video your love letter to Canada I could feel how much you meant it and what I felt was the true sense of what it means to be Canadian, and that is the love for this country.
I’m a Brit,I live in Newzealand, but I adore Canada and watch people travelling around the country in campervan s,it amazes me like Australia does because of all its wildlife.I love mountains, rivers and bush land so I really enjoyed this thank you Canada is a wonderful place.
I watch ALOT of travel vlogs, pretty much daily, as they help me plan for our travels. This Vlog was hands-down one of the best ones I’ve ever watched. not only was it very informative for the trip that I am planning for next year… But your calming voice, and the way that you laid this Vlog out made it feel like a documentary. Bravo
Anyone else got ‘Hello Mr Bear’ stuck in their heads or is it just me? 😅 what an incredible video, all of these places have just gone straight to the top of my bucket list, Jasper in particular.
We went in July of 2023. You did a perfect job of describing this place. I find it hard to believe we can find anywhere on Earth that can surpass the beauty in this corner of the world. ❤
This was incredible! As someone living in Calgary and emotionally done with winter, it's a great reminder that spring and summer is coming soon enough! Loved this so much!
I live just outside of Calgary and have lived here most of my life, still after all these years, the beauty of the country outside my doorstep takes my breath away. I am so very grateful to live here. ❤🇨🇦. Your video was a true representation of the area.
I lived in Banff for a year around 10 years ago. I still struggle to this day to call anywhere home due to its absolute beauty and miss it everyday like someone would miss a great friend or family member. This place ruined where I would call home for the rest of my life but I'm so grateful. Tried to move there a few years back for good but covid struck and immigration said no :( Great video as always. 10/10
Very well done! As a native Albertan (born and raised in Calgary), I have had the honour of visiting all the locations/sites you have. You sir, did a great job of representing the geographical, historical and 'feel' of our little corner of the world. All the best from Calgary!
I moved from the UK to Calgary a few years ago, and im still constantly amazed at the amount of beauty we have on our door step. You’ve created a beautiful video and you’ve captured the Rockies really well. Im also impressed with the number of bear sightings; you’ve been luckier than most!
When I was researching things to do in Banff/Lake Louise I was overwhelmed with what I had found. However, after much research I decided that your videos and recommendations seemed to be the very best. I followed all of your suggestions from lakes to trails and everything in between. I am so glad I did because we had a trip of a lifetime.
What a beautiful video of Canada. I'm from Calgary and quite proud of how you featured Alberta and BC, Canada. Next time you visit, come and experience other places like Waterton, Bragg Creek, Crowsnest Pass, Drumheller, Kananaskis etc and so much more. All the best!
I wish your videos were longer, I would quite happily sit for an hour watching your videos. This has now been added to the bucket list, what an amazing place!
I lived in southern Alberta for half a year back in 2020/21, would travel Banff/Jasper frequently and absolutely left my heart there. I've been going through some major homesickness waves for my home away from home and it's videos like yours that get me through. Thank you! ❤
Stunning video! I'm Canadian and have been to these areas 2x, and did not even come close to seeing the amount of wildlife that you saw. We love travel, and especially in Europe. We're anxiously awaiting our month long trip in the fall back to Ireland and France, and adding Scotland, The Netherlands and Belgium for our 1st time. It is so nice to see someone visit our country and love it so much. Your video actually brought on a couple of tears in appreciation of the country I get to call home. Thank you for sharing. - Coreen
As a Scottish person living in the Highlands, please if you have time consider seeing more of Scotland than just Glasgow and Edinburgh. Highly recommend you watch some Isle of Skye videos, as well as videos on the North Coast 500. It may even encourage you to visit Scotland again if you don't have time for them this time.
Hey. Yes I know it’s terrible we haven’t been to that part of the uk. Shame on us. It is on our list. This is a terrible excuse but I’m always concerned about the weather. I know, that’s a bad reason but it’s a reason.
@@SuitcaseMonkey Totally understandable. As well as the erm... "lovely" little creatures "midgies" that need to be taken into consideration. That said we can have some amazing weather up in the Highlands in late Spring, which if timed correctly you can also avoid the immergence of the dreaded insects too. Obviously there's no guarantees with the weather even in mid to late Spring but I think the landscape you'd find could even cause you to want to make a return journey if the weather you experienced wasn't the best your first visit. Would love to see your camera work in these areas. Especially the North coast 500. Skye is amazing from the videos I've seen, though I've not been there myself yet, but the North Coast 500 is rarely shown by major travel vlogs that do make a point of visiting Skye. Likely for the same reasons you give, yet it has so many gems.
Since 2015 I have been facilitating a class called Armchair adventures at our local college in Prescott, Arizona. I have up to 65 seniors who take the class. They love the Suitcase Monkey videos that I show them. This one is a stunner. Thanks for all your hard work and please keep them coming.
Seeing this brought back so many wonderful memories for me. I visited this region in 1976 on a camping trip from Chicago and absolutely fell in love. Now, nearly 50 years later I am a dual citizen of Canada and the U.S., living in California, and I'm terribly homesick to return. Thank you for this beautiful inspiration!
As a Canadian living in Quebec, I have been to the Rockies about 15 times , in every season. I have to congratulate you on a beautiful video capturing all places I have been to. You picked the perfect time to visit for wildlife opportunities but unfortunately many areas were still frozen over or closed off, so you missed seeing the majestic colors of the mountain lakes in summer. I hope to return to Alberta and BC next summer as its been six years since my last visit. I am glad our country made for an enjoyable and exciting trip for you. Next time, come visit Eastern Canada in the fall to experience the spectacular fall colors. Once again, loved your vlog.
This video was very moving and incredibly well done! I cried a few times because the scenery you captured on film was so majestic and spiritual. Thank you for sharing this work of art. You are an incredible videographer!
Paul, dahling, are you kidding me?! This is Amazing! Phenomenal views, serene spots and wonderful wildlife, it has it All... Thank you, for the amazing effort, and commitment to making quality videos.
Saw this video 3 weeks before we start our trip through Canada. This video was perfect to help us plan our time in Banff and Jaspar. The details you provide will be studied as we finalize our trip and has increased our excitement and anticipation for what we will see.
Well done! You captured the essence of our beautiful national parks and the Rockies, so well. So many of us Canadians, have no idea how incredible these areas are. They can be so inundated with tourists that a lot of us just give them a very wide berth. I have to say, that getting to know these incredible areas better, was one positive for us that came of covid. Without having the ability to travel elsewhere, we decided to get to know our own country better. And with this, came four trips to the Rockies for us. We got to know them more intimately, and realized how incredibly lucky we are to live here, with sites like these in our back yard. I really enjoyed your video!
Ever since 1987, I dreamed of going to this very scenic heaven. I haven’t met Miss Right to go there with; it would suck to go alone. I thank you for showing me what I always knew was a scenic heaven on earth. Thank you so very much. You did this place justice. I hope you can visit traveling back looking at your documentary and even to get peace of mind just to escape from London.
😮 Wow, you've sold me on Canada. I was never interested in visiting Canada before, but the sights in this video are amazing! Thanks so much for the hard work you've put into making this video. It clearly shows.
As an Albertan who loves that this is all in my backyard, I say… WELL DONE! Thank you for displaying my province with such care. Very happy you saw all the animals you wanted 😅. Come back soon!
Having lived in British Columbia for 15 years and having visited the 3 national parks you feature...I felt home sick and close to tears. Thanks!!! Beautiful !!!
This is AMAZING! I definitely felt I was watching a movie! Thank you very much for this! Canada is in my list of dream destinations and I am going in 2024!
My daughter and I are starting a across Canada trip in September. From Ontario to British Columbia. We've been planning and creating our itinerary. I'm most excited to visit Banff, Jasper and Lake Louise. It's going to be a trip of a lifetime. Uploads like this are extremely important to us. I've downloaded it to share with my daughter later. Gratitude for the upload.
You did an excellant job and making me want to plan our Grandchildren's trip with us for this summer! Loved all the great lakes and I wrote them all down to help remember!
This is the best video ever which portrays the beauty of Canada perfectly and your narration is impeccable which makes this experience like reading a book, page by page the beautiful story unfolds.❤
Watching your video reminded me of why I fell so deeply in love with Canada, that I made it my home. I have found that you truly live life to the fullest here. Because of the 4 seasons, Canadians live each season to the fullest, there is no we will go next weekend, it happens in that moment because you never know what the weather will be like next weekend. I can see why it took you 9 months to make the video because how do you do such natural beauty justice on film but you did. I was captivated from the very beginning to the very end and was truly sad to see it end. Bravo, amazing job
After visiting Calgary and surrounding areas several times on holidays, my husband and I decided we loved it so much we moved there….living 30 minutes north of Calgary. Truly is a stunning area. Been here 17 years now and it never gets old …
What a total gem! I am a Canadian and have never gone to Alberta and this makes me want to go there as soon as I can to see the lovely wildlife. How breathtaking. Thank you for sharing this and putting so much effort and time into it.
Love your channel! It's easy to see the enormous amount of work that goes into organizing your footage into an engaging narrative; and you manage to impart a lot of feeling to it without making it sentimental or cheap. Please keep the videos coming!
Thanks! We just finished our Banff and Jasper vacation and your video was helpful in the planning (and for confirming what we already had planned). We continued on to Whistler - which was equally awesome! Our next trip is to the Lake District in early Oct. I will need to watch your Lake District video again to make sure I have everything planned correctly :) Keep up the great work!
Wow thank you so much for the super thanks. That is incredibly kind of you and I’m glad it helped in some small way with your own trip. You’ll have a great trip in the lakes. Just expect a bit of rain (we were very lucky!) 😅😬😀
As a direct result of watching your Canada vlog, Husband and i booked tickets this morning to Calgary. We were last in the area in 2016, and we realized how much we missed it and how beautiful it was. So thank you. And please send us the words to "Hello Mr. Bear"
Living in Canmore, just a stone's throw from Banff, I thought I knew these mountains inside and out. But wow-BRAVO! You've captured their beauty in a way that even locals might overlook. Amazing work showing a fresh perspective on our incredible backyard!
This has to be one of the best guides to Banff and its surrounding areas on the internet My wife and I did a very similar trip a couple of years ago and it changed my life. As a landscape photographer this area of Canada is an absolute playground and your right, no photograph or video actually does it justice Like you, Moraine Lake was my whole reason for the visit. I had wanted to photograph it for over 30 years so when my dream came true it felt absolutely surreal (and more than a little tearful) Thanks for bringing back these fabulous memories 👍
You have made my day thankyou, people in my situation who love to travel to hike edens of earth like this one, but can't afford their costs, you fill our heart and our soul with hapiness and satisfaction. Bravo
Thank you for sharing this lovely vlog with us. As a former Western Canadian (now Eastern Canadian), you did our home country justice. It's also very much appreciated that you recommended carrying bear spray while hiking. Thank you 🐻 ❤. As a 'fyi', the best place to see moose is actually in Algonquin Park in Ontario, so if you ever find yourself back in Canada, please consider visiting Ontario and Quebec, you won't regret it. Merci encore d'avoir visiter notre pays. We love our UK cousins.
Absolutely beautiful tour in Canada. Such a lovely place! Love virtual tour of scenery and Itinerary & Guide. Fantastic video and footage, thanks for bringing us along my friend
I really appreciate the time, energy, and effort that you put into your videos. I've been such a fan of your work for a long time and your videos helped me when we visited London last year. We're American and considering going up to Banff as we're not too far away. Your vlog helps to show the beauty and nature of this area! Your voice is calming and relaxing, but I'll admit my favorite bits are always your subtle sense of humor. Gets me laughing every time! Thank you so much!
That's got us all nostalgic . In 1967 at the ripe age of 20 my wife and I emigrated to Canada , settling in Edmonton originally . Most of our summer weekends were spent in the Rockies between Jasper and Banff , that was before the overseas tourists had really arrived . Eventually we ended up in Australia but still go back occasionally to those wonderfull mountains .
Hi Suitcase Monkey, Thanks for putting so much thought, time, and effort into creating this beautiful representation of part of my favourite country in the world. I'll share this video cause I believe it ought to be on everybody Bucketlist. I'm a Dutch citizen but I was fortunate enough to spend 18 years in Canada. Canada never ever ceases to amaze, impress, and captivate me. 😍
Well done. This area has been part of my home stomping grounds all my life being a BC/Alberta resident. I’m now in my 70s. I’m glad that you were able to share some of the quiet magnificence of this special area. Thank you for your efforts.
I came across your channel sometime during the pandemic (summer, 2020, maybe?) and have enjoyed watching your travel videos ever since. You should be proud of this vlog; it's spectacular. Can't wait to see what you do next!
This was the most amazing video I have ever seen, capturing Banff, and jasper and the Rockies. I grew up in Alberta, a northern city called Edmonton. I went camping to all those places as I grew up. You really did capture what it’s like to be in the Rocky Mountains in Canada. I thank you sir.
Every single one of your video makes me want to travel to the film location! You do a beautiful job evoking a sense of place and your "Hello Mr Bear" ditty made me laugh out loud. Thank you for all your work!
How has it taken me this long to discover you guys and your channel? Truly loving your videos…so many superlatives I could use to describe them. The content, the delivery & of course the *very* subtle underlying humour, long may they continue. Thank you 👏🏼
You just took me back 30 years and our trip to Canada!!! We visited virtually all the same places and it still holds a special place in my heart. I want to go back 😃
Thank you so much very generous. This is my personal fave video but there are around 28 Other travel vlogs on this channel in the same style. Hope you enjoy
This by far one of the amazing video compilation of Canada Rocky Mountain. If u both get a chance to visit again, try other Alberta's pride like Kananaskis Country (lots of hiking trails and Lakes) , Canmore, Bragg Creek, Waterton and Lethbridge. All the best!
We stayed in Banff in 2022. Our daughter got married at Lake Minnewanka. We then pretty much followed your footsteps to Jasper. Unfortunately, not quite seeing so much wildlife. Your video is amazing and brings back so many amazing memories. We cant wait to return.
WONDERFUL!! We made this same trip in 2005. You captured the awe and majesty of this country magnificently! I teach iPhone photography near Austin TX in a retirements community and will share this and other of your videos with class sessions. (As examples of great composition, artistry, wit, and superb video production) Your narration and music selections are great! BRAVO
That was an enchanting trip, you did the place proud. I've watched other vids because I've been told so often how special that area is, but I get it now. Thank you.
Outstanding video with beautiful views, a most for anyone that has never seen Canada and would like a taste of what an unforgettable experience to have. Congratulations! what an amazing way to explore a place before visiting. You capture not only the wildlife at it's best but the bewitching beauty of this place. Thank you for taking the time to present this exceptional video and thank you for providing us with links of the activities, locations, restaurants and places to stay. Looking forward to your next one!💗💗💗
I love Canada or watching it,it’s so beautiful I’m from Newzealand but Canada is my choice of a beautiful place with amazing wild life.I love your videos you do an amazing job capturing the beauty of the place thank you so much.
You have put so much thought in producing this YTV. From pre-trip preparation to maximising your time each day at each location. The quality of end product is stunning. It’s the best travel video on the most breathtaking taking locations in the world I have seen. Each day, each minute of the video captured the uniqueness of Banff , Lake Louise and Jasper. The spotting of wildlife and seeing a white grizzly was wonderful and without doubt something that lives in the mind forever. The “British” commentary adds so much value, facts balanced with humour adding a sight to your personal enjoyment of what you are doing. Banff is beautiful but no line dancing seen 😇, Lake Louise is stunning and thanks for calling out the natural colours of the lake and Jasper remains a identical gem. I have noticed the number of positive reviews and comments from local Canadians which kinda tells me you’ve nailed, hopefully exceeded your high expectations. As for more, if possible it would be interesting and informative to share where you landed in Canada and of course where yiu flew back from. I’m sure yiu have zillions of footage still in the cloud so hopefully you may find tie to pull some more footage of your trip. Lastly hopefully BC Tourist Board will have seen this travel blog and reach out to you. Simply put it’s that good and should work with you to see how they can utilise your work. Thanks again - when are you going back k/r John
I live in Alberta, and Jasper in particular is one of my favourite places to visit! You did an amazing job of capturing the beauty - but more importantly- the spirit of this place. So happy you enjoyed your time, and grateful you didn’t focus on the sometimes inclement weather and the ice that remains so late some years!
Absolutely beautiful video! As a fellow Canadian, your love letter to my country was spectacular! I hope that you come back, and explore other provinces!
Love this video. I live about 8 hours drive away from Banff but manage to get to the area at minimum once a year. So many memories, you have even shown me some I have forgotten from my childhood. This summer will be taking a trip once again through banff, jasper, glacier and end up on the coast just outside Vancouver. All while towing my little homemade trailer and the family. What a blessed life I live!! Oh - End of May I may see you in London!! 50th birthday will be there! Cheers!
What an absolute treasure. Thank you for taking the time to put this video together and sharing your incredible trip. I hope one day I can travel to Alberta and see all of these beautiful sights. 🙏🏽💜
Congratulations. What a stunningly breathtaking video. I'm am heading to these parts of Canada in May this year. So excited having just seen this. YES PLEASE for the follow up travel guide video. Thanks for sharing your memories.
Its kind of the best travel video i have ever watched on youtube! The narrative is very clear, so informative and you are so generous to share the travelling tips and itinerary. Last but not least, great pictures and videos!
Beautiful video! It's so difficult to portray the beauty and scope of this area on camera, but you did a great job! This is my favorite place in the world!
Wow. Ashamed to say, but as a lifelong Canadian (living in Toronto), I've never gone west and witnessed all this beauty in my own country. Alberta looks like a worthy destination indeed! (By the way, the 'red chairs' are called "adirondack' chairs! Iconic. :D) Fantastic video and well worth the wait. Your Lake Minnewanka quip was among many gems. This is why I return to your channel despite hundreds of other travel vloggers. Stunning footage as well! Cheers and thanks from central Canada! :)
Having visited Banff/Lake Louise when I was a bratty teenager decades ago, this wonderful video brought back many memories. It also brought home how, in my youth, I truly missed the sheer vastness and incredible beauty of the area. Hope to make it back up there up there one day (in my retirement). Thank you Thank you Thank you !!!!!
As someone looking to move to Canada, Alberta in particular, I have a great fondness for it and this amazing video almost brought a tear to my eye. Beautiful footage, looks like you definitely done it justice ! The wildlife shots where amazing, particularly that white grizzly ❤
This is stunning! I love how you make this feel like a documentary. And the timing of your humor moments is perfect, lol. What a treat to find this video.
I really LOVE your channel and have been going back through the archives! I'm glad you acted on this idea. I am always looking for literal tips, not just vague overtures about travel, so cheers! Thank you for the cheeky humor ( sure you're a Brit? 😀), the perspectives you include, and showing your wife in all of your content. It's inspiring to see you two enjoy places and things together! Also just wanted to say that you have a voice for voiceover work in addition to your vlogging, and I wasn't sure if you'd ever considered it! Income stream #2 maybe! Just a thought. Thanks from this North American for re-inspiring me to go to the Banff area as it's been on my list for a long time and keeps slipping down the priority list. Thanks for sharing your vlogs with us!
Thank you. That’s very kind. And yeah I’ve been told the voice over thing a few times but not really sure if the entry path into it. I will have a look tho when I have the time.
This was wonderful! My husband and I along with our son (15 years ago) did so much of this trip and it was very exciting to see it all again. However, now we are all pumped to want to plan a return trip and your well done video just made us thirsty to get it going. Your work is wonderful - thank you!
As someone who lives in the area, all I can ask is PLEASE don’t slow down on any road or highway looking at wildlife. This causes sooooo many accidents which negatively impacts humans and wildlife. I know it’s exciting to see animals you’ve never seen before , but it’s not worth the risk. Thanks so much for visiting us . Please come again!
I just returned from a trip to those destinations. This summer, Banff witnessed an influx of over 10 million visitors. It was an incredible experience, but for my next adventure, I'm planning to avoid the bustling summer season. Great video. Thank you.
Instead of being emotionally done with winter, use it as a reminder that you are growing and evolving and it’s a time of ease and gratitude 🙏
It’s ok to just be emotionally done with winter tho… 🤣
@@SuitcaseMonkey yeah I meant it’s okay to just be sleepy and take naps 🤣
And this is why bears hibernate in the winter. 😉

I live just outside of Calgary and have lived here most of my life, still after all these years, the beauty of the country outside my doorstep takes my breath away. I am so very grateful to live here. ❤🇨🇦. Your video was a true representation of the area.
I'm Canadian and this video was just breathtaking. Thank you for sharing your beautiful experience in our majestic Rockies.
I live in British Colombia in a most scenic Island, yet when I visited Moraine Lake I literally burst into tears! I get what you shared!
The border of Alberta and British Columbia Provinces runs along the top of the mountains that backdrop Moraine Lake.
That’s great to hear! Thank you!!
When I watched the video, I thought I was watching a real movie. Canada is a great country. I wish you more progress
I lived in southern Alberta for half a year back in 2020/21, would travel Banff/Jasper frequently and absolutely left my heart there. I've been going through some major homesickness waves for my home away from home and it's videos like yours that get me through. Thank you! ❤
I've seen dozens and dozens of vlogs about this region in Canada, but this one is by far the best I've ever seen ! Congrats !
- Coreen
Wow. That is pretty much the best comment I can receive. Thank you. Glad you enjoyed.
Thank you. I’ve made a note and you’ve pushed it higher on my list. Much appreciated
Since 2015 I have been facilitating a class called Armchair adventures at our local college in Prescott, Arizona. I have up to 65 seniors who take the class. They love the Suitcase Monkey videos that I show them. This one is a stunner. Thanks for all your hard work and please keep them coming.
Ahh that’s great! What a lovely idea! Say hello to them all!
Just came back from Banff… I left my heart there. Incredible heavenly gift of scenery to mankind. Wonderful enriching video! Thank you!
Which hotel you stayed? trying to book for summer
I have a travel tips guide to this holiday coming this Saturday!
This video was very moving and incredibly well done! I cried a few times because the scenery you captured on film was so majestic and spiritual.
This is the best video ever which portrays the beauty of Canada perfectly and your narration is impeccable which makes this experience like reading a book, page by page the beautiful story unfolds.❤
Welcome to the channel
Thanks Roger
Thanks! We just finished our Banff and Jasper vacation and your video was helpful in the planning (and for confirming what we already had planned). We continued on to Whistler - which was equally awesome! Our next trip is to the Lake District in early Oct. I will need to watch your Lake District video again to make sure I have everything planned correctly :)
Keep up the great work!
Bear"
As a Canadian, well done with representing the beauty in one small but gorgeous area of Canada! Hope you come back!
This vlog is like a love letter to Canada's natural wonders. Thank you for sharing this unforgettable adventure with us 💙
Living in Canmore, just a stone's throw from Banff, I thought I knew these mountains inside and out. But wow-BRAVO! You've captured their beauty in a way that even locals might overlook. Amazing work showing a fresh perspective on our incredible backyard!
Welcome to the channel. We have 30 plus similar travel blogs from around the world
This is an absolute genius capture of beautifully stunning place. You have inspired me to start planning my trip for June 2024.. Thank you.
Visited in 1967 when I was 20, I have never forgotten the breathtaking beauty of the place.
This has to be one of the best guides to Banff and its surrounding areas on the internet
My wife and I did a very similar trip a couple of years ago and it changed my life. As a landscape photographer this area of Canada is an absolute playground and your right, no photograph or video actually does it justice
Like you, Moraine Lake was my whole reason for the visit. I had wanted to photograph it for over 30 years so when my dream came true it felt absolutely surreal (and more than a little tearful)
Thanks for bringing back these fabulous memories 👍
Thanks glen. Glad you enjoyed
Thank you for your kind words and advice.
Absolutely beautiful tour in Canada. Such a lovely place! Love virtual tour of scenery and Itinerary & Guide. Fantastic video and footage, thanks for bringing us along my friend
So beautiful! I loved every second of the footage! How amazing our world is! Thank you for all the emotional work! Beautiful ❤
This is the best video I’ve ever seen. I just wanted to cry. The pictures were so amazing and the details were great.
Welcome to the channel
I really appreciate the time, energy, and effort that you put into your videos. I've been such a fan of your work for a long time and your videos helped me when we visited London last year. We're American and considering going up to Banff as we're not too far away. Your vlog helps to show the beauty and nature of this area! Your voice is calming and relaxing, but I'll admit my favorite bits are always your subtle sense of humor. Gets me laughing every time! Thank you so much!
Thank you. Please share with your friends!
Thanks for the continued support!
You captured the place beautifully ❤ and this is coming from a Canadian who has been there several times. It never gets old.
Thank you 👏🏼
Welcome to the channel! Glad you found us!
It’s incredible how you make every destination come alive
Thank you. That means a lot.

You just took me back 30 years and our trip to Canada!!! We visited virtually all the same places and it still holds a special place in my heart. I want to go back 😃
Thank you! One of the best travel vlogs. Will look for more of your videos .
Thank you so much very generous. This is my personal fave video but there are around 28
Other travel vlogs on this channel in the same style.
BRAVO
Thank you. In case it’ll help, I also have an iPhone video on this channel where I talk about techniques I use.
Thank you for your kind words as usual!
Oh yes definitely we will!
Hello Mr. Bear, it is not a problem that I am here with you, I mean you no harm. 🎵🎶
🙌
Its kind of the best travel video i have ever watched on youtube! The narrative is very clear, so informative and you are so generous to share the travelling tips and itinerary. Last but not least, great pictures and videos!
Beautiful video! It's so difficult to portray the beauty and scope of this area on camera, but you did a great job! This is my favorite place in the world!
Köszönjük!
Thank you so much!!! Really generous of you
Thanks Helen. Much appreciated!
@@SuitcaseMonkey 😍🙌
Having visited Banff/Lake Louise when I was a bratty teenager decades ago, this wonderful video brought back many memories. It also brought home how, in my youth, I truly missed the sheer vastness and incredible beauty of the area. Hope to make it back up there up there one day (in my retirement). Thank you Thank you Thank you !!!!!
Yeah I’d have been the same as a child
Most beautiful video i have seen on Alberta, thank you for putting that much effort into the work🎉
THANK U from a Canadian who is profoundly impressed with this video. What a creator. Appreciate ❤️🇨🇦

Welcome to the channel. This is what we do. ☺️
We travelled the same route for 3 weeks, including Rocky Mountaineer, in September 2023. It was an amazing experience.
You did a fantastic job of highlighting our Beautiful back yard. I'm so lucky all this is a short drive away.
I’m so glad you loved your time here. I’m in love with my home every time I step outside.
I just returned from a trip to those destinations. This summer, Banff witnessed an influx of over 10 million visitors. It was an incredible experience, but for my next adventure, I'm planning to avoid the bustling summer season. Great video. Thank you.
The Canadian Rockies are awesome. Thanks for sharing with us.
Can you please do one for the Canadian Maritime Provinces as well? especially PEI and Nova Scotia?
