Simon, thanks for all the videos. I know you've done the 10,000 mile service already but I would be interested in seeing you do the valve adjustments if possible. Thanks again
Thank you for making these videos I have the 1200xc it's been solid I like the Triumph side bag but this has giving me something to think about. The bike still looks good and as always like your advise off and on the bike be safe on your travel Kind regards. ps look forward to your panions review
I have the Giant Loop plates onto the Unit Garage rack system they are removable the same like the Unit Garage plates with pannier bags like the Mototrekk 35L ones so just as I like too the clean look of them as the plates are to be removed too .. price wise a wee bit cheaper than the Unit Garage plates . It’s great to have options and the Unit Garage rack system ist great to have for our niche motorcycle 👍
Like the fact you’ve stuck to one bike and shown the progression of why you’re putting equipment on instead of “let’s just farkle the hell out of it”. Some channels add so much , you need an archeological dig to remember what it was, originally.
great and super informational video, Scrambler looks great with those UG bags...I was also not aware that Hepco and Becker side protection bars were compatible with Triumph engine protection bars, thanks! Any thoughts about this UG side pannier system working out with 2 to 1 Tec Flank exhaust on my 1200? Really feel like I've limited the bike to left side only luggage/ pannier system. Thank you for all the videos Sir Simon, thank you for sharing your insights and your wisdom.
I too am interested on this rack, but I do have a tecbikeparts tail tidy and would like to know if there is clearance issues where the license frame is relocated. I heard that the Evotech tail tidy clears it just fine. Thanks for the detailed video as always mate! Cheers
I want a Scrambler but I doubt still. I read a lot of complains about the rear suspension. It seems to be to soft. The spring rate is too low. When you are 100kg full dressed like me, than its to weak, they say? You can't also drive with luggage or pillion? Is it true...? Is see your preload is at zero? Also they say the bike feels plush when you sit on it (I discovered that also last week in a showroom) but when driving it's harsh! and bumpy?!

Great video. I've been on the fence about the unit garage racks but I'm sold now. Great shop!

Are these frames only compatible with UNIT bags or could I install, for example, lonerider bags?

@@famekbjorn1706 TEC had shorter rear springs that I installed ( super easy )and there’s gotta be an option for you to increase strength.
i also have tec heavy load springs because i drive o lot with pillion , but i found them too hard
