I would say that from seeing your reactions to metal, rock and grunge...heavier rock music and now this......the classic, deep, amazing, psychedelic genius of Jim Morrison and the Doors....man, your good. It's hard to believe the Doors basically fit their whole music career into about 4 years... I was starting my Freshman year of high school in 1970 when Morrison died. From the time I was in 5th grade I knew the words to every song they did, because I had an older brother who played all their albums non-stop. Oh man....please do more Doors reactions!!!They are most definitely one of a kind. I so agree with you that they take their time, they are more about the journey. Jim Morrison was a pure poet. He also came at a time where music was cookie cutter, and he called things for what they were. He made it possible for music to be sad and deep. I look forward to watching you do more of them!
And while your are at it...I would absolutely love if you did a Janis Joplin reaction. Please??? 🙏🏻 She is literally my favorite singer. She is from this same era(my personal favorite). Ball and Chain is amazing.

You said this had Led Zeppelin vibes, but this album came out a year before Led Zeppelin's first album. Just a fun fact, not hating, I wouldn't expect anyone to know that. So Led Zep had The Doors vibes!
1967 was a great year for music man. Jimmy Hendrix's first album, The Doors, Jefferson Airplane, The Beatles - Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, Cream, Buffalo Springfield, Otis Redding, Traffic, the Four Tops, etc...

I know your “where we goin?” was rhetorical, but in case your curious, the answer is Vietnam. “The blue bus is calling us” is a reference to the blue buses that would pick up draftees and take them to boot camp. This was released in 67’, probably when people were still being drafted left and right.

    • @dyanhogue7772
