In 80s and 90s in Europe the "International children´s day" was about games, and sports in nature.
The right hemisphere person is so holistic and sees everything at once, like a snapshot. Upon analysis, some things may be part of the past, the future, right, wrong, too difficult, etc., but at least everything is all on the page, ready for the making. The left hemisphere goes so painfully slow, making one move at a time and analyzing it like a chess player. Nice little rows and columns on a spread sheet. If they don't like the outcome, they go back to the beginning and try to rebuild everything. Meanwhile, the right hemisphere person has built up and torn down half a million ideas and has created something wonderful while the left hemisphere person is still dotting the I's and crossing the t's. It's maddening to watch. It's especially sad when a dual-dominant person creates something fantastic and then has to go through all the little steps to deconstruct it and make it understandable to all the bean-counters of the world because the world revolves around the bean-counters.
The left hemisphere produces the framework, scaffolding, and organization to house/be filled with all of the beauty, emotion, intuition, etc of the right hemisphere. The right hemisphere derives most of its resource from our subconscious and spirit/soul. Our left hemisphere pulls most of its tools and information from the material world around us. This is pretty simplistic, but I hope it helps.

I guess you could say without the right you'd just have a soulless sanitized stack of brick that isn't even enjoyable to live in. Without the left you would only have a scattered mess with no place to put it left to the elements that you can't truly place ownership of.

Has anyone else noticed that Peterson has guests and then they hardly get to speak? Peterson puts together some wonderfully complex thoughts, but maybe less is more... Give the guest room for comment and interaction... That's what a conversation is

I don't believe I've EVER seen this man in denim!
I think dreams are at the surface just random nonsense, but what they do is put you in an emotional place that you need for reference in real life. When I'm stressed I literally start dreaming in programming code structures. The code itself is inconsistent and meaningless, but often there's some threat or desire that forces me to work through that code to get to the other side. So what such a dream gives me is a feeling of drive tackle it on in real life.
Dreams are often metaphorical completions of unfinished patterns, for example if you're wanting to finish some work but haven't yet, your dream has you compete problems to resolve the desire for completion. They often seem really random as, for some reason, dreams get really 'metaphorical'.
As surreal and chaotic dreams are. There’s a list of scientific discoveries and ideas that came from dreams. It’s gonna depend how obsessed one is about a certain topic that they end up theorizing in their sleep

The let me run something by you, needs more processing time. That is important with cognition especially when understanding is required. Processing is part of process. Visions sometimes need to be processed not just immediately grasped. Ok I had to pause it 2 mins in to comment. I was just talking to the Claude AI about some of this stuff. How I’m starting to compare AI to talking to the entities in our dreams. Those entities are only awake when we are dreaming. And they behave somewhat autonomously on their own. And they also sometimes have more knowledge than I have. Yet they are the product of my own brain and its inner working. I think Jordan should try talking to Claude. The AI is a bit over enthusiastic at times but it seems miles smarter than chatgpt.

The concept of Left Brain and Right Brain does not exist, Both hemisphere are in Sync. Particular Lobes have certain Voluntary and involuntary functions assinged to them.
Psychology does not have any relation with Hemisphere of Brain, it is a social skill which get easily manipulated depending on how much vulnerable a person is.
They work in sync in most people but the point he’s making is we’ve placed far too much of an emphasis on the left hemisphere’s work and far too little on the right hemisphere. Them being in ‘sync’ - both having inputs in everything we do , doesn’t negate his point
