This is a frustration that we all experience and as we grow and learn how to untangle our messes, the faster we get rigged back up, the faster we can be back in the water fishing.

Was literally just about to take the whole rod to the shop and have them untangle it. But I figured if I’m out on the water and I get tangle I can’t just run to the shop every time to have them untangle it, this video taught me how to do it on my own, thanks so much man

It helps when you bring two boys fishing and they’re just learning, I tried untangling and it just got messier. Cutting the line was the fastest and less stressful way, now I am watching your video trying to find how other people do it. Thanks a lot.

I only put 7/8 amount the bale can take for my kid's and I'm glad iv only fix it twice. It works great they don't need all that line and casting they can't tell how far is going. I say cut it out too nice 👊🏼 like that.. my kids are in their 20 and don't know how to pull the bale off good job little guy is on it.

Hi mate I had same issue and was able to remove line tangled in the gears but I'm struggling to put the black cap back on - is there trick to screwing it back on?
It should just screw back on
