The thing i like about your channel Dave is you get what you see, No posing nothing flash. Never to serious and honest, keep it up not many channels like yours. I have watched many channels through the years and can see the difference in most. All they seem to do know is now the most expensive things they can get Like a competition.
Thanks for another great vid Dave, One of the few people on here who are honest enough to say I got that bit wrong, I have made many mistakes when planning a walk, I thought I was alone, lol
Hi there John thanks for commenting and kind words much appreciated. I would suggest that every hiker and walker has got lost at some point or other. I mean, where would the fun be in not😂. Anyhoo thanks again and Atb. Dave aka wackyswanderings
I watched this first on my second channel and fell about laughing with the sad faces on the maps and the way you told it like you was making a good way on the route only to find in the wrong direction. This video brightened up my day thank you. It can be frustrating to make a minor decision that costs you time and distance. Love the channel and enjoy your approach to the walks and may it continue. Paul
That made me titter mate. I subscribe to the os maps app. You still need maps but the beauty of it is it shows you exactly where you are on the map on your phone. You must have walked miles extra on that trip !! Regards from sunny Skegness 👍👍
😊👍Cheers Dave thanks for watching and comments much appreciated and glad it brought a smile. Yep I'd say possibly an extra 10 - 20 miles over the week not including going back and forth for camera 🙄😂 anyhoo thanks for sub and welcome aboard. Dave aka wackyswanderings
Think you're right about the amount of human traffic gonna be own the well known trails, I'm planning one of the lesser known ones myself... as for wrong turns, my own hikes are usually a collection of corrected mistakes! lol... atb SInco
Yep. Typically paracetamol and or anti inflammatorys. I also suffer gout so carry meds for that along with anti histamine tabs, diralite and anti acid tabs, small containers of marmite for its B12 properties and several sachets of malt viniger for sprains and strains as its a good astringent for swellings, and nice on chips🍟😊. Its best to have what you may or definitely need medication wise when out and about as its you looking after you, or someone else, out there. Hope that helps. You be good, you be safe and you keep smiling. Dave aka wackyswanderings
It's a lovely walk from start to finish even if a little wet, well soaking actually, but lovely. Thanks for watching and comments much appreciated. Atb Dave aka wackyswanderings
