Hi Jaime :) it depends if you have any specific concerns really, i think for me going into unknown areas the biggest fear is stuff like 'will i have enough water' and silly things like that. the Cumbria way is quite blessed for having a boat load of water sources so i wouldn't worry about trying to carry too much(i would recommend a water filter though). the other thing is will you be wild camping or trying to pitch at specific sights? if you're wild camping just remember about not pitching too early and also well away from towns and well used footpaths :)
Just stumbled across your videos. Did you say Lake Clear in Canada? Is that near Algonquin Park? I live in Ottawa, but originally am from Cumbria (Barrow). Anyway, great video, watched your Pennine Way and Isle of Skye ones as well. Keep it up. 👍
Yes sir, that’s the one 🥰 I have some wonderful friends of the family who still have a cottage on the lake there. Thanks for watching I really appreciate, sorry about the early videos they’re abit rough and rugged haha
Hey :) thanks for watching! I don’t think it matters really, though I will say the 10 miles coming into(out of) Carlisle are not that great. So I guess you either get the worst bit done first or have it to taper the adventure off :) Ulverston is a lovely little place if you wanna spend more time there
Thanks for that, that’s made my mind up get the drab bit done first. Great to see you done Scarfell that must of been a tough day. What’s your next adventure? Looking forward to yr next film Thanks again
Hey man, I’m really interested in this stuff and was wondering how you go about wild camping while in the lakes. Do you just find somewhere hidden or find a farmers field? What are your recommendations etc? Thanks
Hi! Wild camping is quite awkward in England as most know, the Lake District is abit more forgiving as it’s genuinely passable to camp on the high fells if you do it all in moderation (follow leave no trace principles, arrive late leave early etc). Happy trails 💪🏼🍻
Let me know what you think :)
I love this!
Well that was different! Thanks for sharing, made me smile. And made me want to do the trail 🤗
