I just wanted to add that, this punish into +8 back turn is just as, if not more viable, her BT mix is just as good, considering you will always be able to be jabbed out of both i19 L found in both stances. Take the damage/splat. Could easily replace df.1,2,b as a punish, other than not hitting a croucher
I main GoD Feng with currently 8k matches in Tekken 8. Azucena will be my 2nd main as she is also a stance based/poke/heavy character and the closest to Feng in terms of playstyle, in my opinion. Thanks for the guide brother.
She can also punish -12~-14 lows that recover in crouch with d1+3/d2+4, more damage than ws4,1, although you'd need to be more on point and look at the screen; see what you're actually blocking.
Man, I'm not trying to offend you as a person. But I think your talk about Azucena being still strong is a total BS. She has a ton of problems now, when they overnerfed her wr32. 1. She's SUPER linear. Some moves, like ff3+4, will not even track ON HIT 2. She has ton of option-selectable moves. 3,3/3,2 is option-selectable by short duck. df1,4 with extentions as well. 3. She has too much risky moves (i won't even spend time on writing those here) 4. Her punishment moves are not as good as many others' , especially if you consider how unsafe all her punishers are. 5. She does not have mixup strings. Hign-mid is not a mixup. I can say that if you got her in high ranks, that speaks more about you as a very good player. Yet, her balance is far from being fair. Basically, for one reason - against Azucena you need to satnding block, occasionnaly lowblocking. That's all. No mindgame, no deep matchup knoweledge required. Because all damage you can do with any pokes will be equalized by one or two punishers. And you cannot keep pressure with her as you can with rushdown/opressors characters. And reason why I say it is because if you keep saying "she's ok" - lazyasses in Bamco will not lift a finger to fix her. Not just you in particular. But community overall. She's playable. But amount of work required with her to win is incomparable to others. And I know what I'm talking about - I have "mid-tier" character (not Jin,Yoshi, King, Drag or Feng, weaker) 5 ranks higher than her. Your guide is good, but you're omiting A LOT of her weaknesses. Please, raise your voice more about what is actually wrong with the game

When you do she deletes people, the biggest problem with her is the fact that her most threatening options are easy to avoid especially if you force her to attack you. if you play the character enough though you can get around a lot of this though
