First of all, great guide! Now, I wanna point out a few things. She has another command grab in uf 1+2. Her ws 1+2 has a ton of pushback and it's -3 on block, so sidestepping or sidewalking to their weak side will give you a free whiff if they press. After a heat smash on block, try to sidewalk too. Usually, it can fuck up your opponent timing, giving a much more consistent mix-up as they don't usually expect you to delay your timing, most of the time people tend to either crouch or stand still right away. As a final tip, after any launcher followed by ff 2,3 db 1,4 you can sidestep left after the tornado in p1 for a more consistent ff4 ff 2,3. I hope this will help any asuka enjoyer, peace!
@@ceeka9002 Asuka has hitbox issues. The sidestep helps you hit both the first and the second hit after the ff4 due to the angle, but in that combo you can still hit it without the sidestep but it's much harder to do.

Relatively new to Tekken and coming from Yoshi. Is KBD super necessary (particularly on Asuka) for getting into higher ranks? Also, are the core moves to use going to change much with the patch? Thanks for the guide!
KBD isn’t super necessary as backdashing covers a fair amount of ground in Tekken 8. It’s worth labbing in your spare time as it creates opportunities in your spacing. And I will have a video covering how to use Asuka in the new patch.
I agree with magic 4! Ending your combo with ff2 just for the buff isn’t worth it in most scenarios. I would consider this idea 'Option Select' which is a more advanced concept, but if you’re not already familiar with it, it's understanding all of the optimal options(moves) to use in any specific scenario. Using ff2, 1+2 to end a combo makes sense as an option when: A: There are no walls near B: Your opponent is about to die and you need just a bit more damage in your combo C: You’re ending a combo at the wall on a low splat. It’s HUGE to wall carry in this game and it should be prioritized over any standard ender if there are walls near. I find myself using ff+4 >ff+2, 3 or d/b+4, 3 to get the wall scenario since it creates such a huge advantage than resetting neutral with an ender that pushes back fullscreen
