After exploring songs on the setlist that I'd never heard to prepare for the concert, I've become a HUGE fan of theirs. This song, along with many others, are insanely good - what a fantastic band. Okay, so this was 1997...10 years after Duran Duran's heyday...yet this song sounds so classic Duran, they still look young and hip and the video is just plain magical! Even almost 20 years later!

This a real video. Duran Duran is a lot more fun than Chris Brown, Taylor Swift, and Eminem. Duran Duran is more about art and less about money. Some of the radio stations I used 2 are no longer independent. Let's bring this kind of music back. Thanks for posting this video.
It's weird seeing comments here like "this music video wouldn't fly these days" or "this would anger feminists" because the lady who directed this, photographer Ellen Von Unwerth, is literally a feminist. I think here, not only is she paying homage to Barbarella (the movie, which has... interesting commentary on sexuality), but Von Unwerth is also illustrating the consequences of objectifying women--of doing what she herself tries to avoid in her photography. This interpretation lines up pretty well with the implication presented on the single cover of this song (a simple but hypersexualized drawing of a woman with a bunch of eyes behind her). By the way, Von Unwerth specifically chose the model (Myka Dunkle) to play the main lady here since she could do the panicked-looking robot act well. So there was intention behind that also. Anyway, the song is really good, and after thinking about it a lot, I think the video is too. :)

The sounds you're making
In Ultrachrome, latex, and steel
I used to play this over and over and over and over... like... 12 times in a row, and never get enough of it.... this song is like that
La nena Eléctric Barbarella es hermosa!!!! Y la canción muy buena .Aguante Duran Duran
A good friend gave me Medazzaland for my 19th birthday.
Duran Duran is in my top 10 best bands of the 80s. Further the pet shop boys, depache mode, U2 and few more.
I finally found it. I have very faint emories of me as little kid playing POD on PC with thing song on the radio.
Es una de las bandas mas grandes de la historia.Y fueron innovadores en todo lo que hicieron.Por siempre Duran Duran.
This is my favorite Duran Duran Song of all time. I became a fan when I first heard it on their greats hits album when it came out in 98.
Best Duran Duran song during the 90’s...
Yes, including OW and CU
I love everything these guys do.
A voz do Simon le Bon está mais fina nesse ano do que no início da carreira 🔊🎵
By far my favorite DD song! They should play it again live, it's been a long time!
I just LOVE DURAN DURAN!!! this is one of my faves ❤️
I love this song. It's in my top five Duran Duran songs. Really underrated.
Duran Duran is the greatest band in the Universe...Duranie 4 Life!!
Love it!! I remember this great song and video, with D2 the creativity never ends...miss JT here
Questo pezzo ti entra dentro e ti devasta. Fantastico!
Duran Duran was the Roxy Music of the nineties.
First heard this song a couple of years ago when my dad played it in the car it's still one of my favorite duran duran songs.
Emotionless and cold as ice, all of the things I like.
The whole "New Romantics" throw back and reference is genius. Anyone else notice that?
