In the 80's Duran Duran was often dismissed as a teenager's pin up band. They weren't taken for the serious musicians and artists they clearly are. As a long time fan I can say they have just gotten better and better. Saw them live again over summer and it was even better than the shows I'd seen previously. It's a friendship and partnership and artistry that as withstood the test of time. I can't wait for the new album, this single is exceptional. What a fun song and video!
The popularity of Duran Duran as a teenybop band was a deliberate move on the band's part. They wanted to break in America and decided the best way to do that was to appeal to the tween set, so that's how they aimed their publicity, appearing in Tiger Beat and Teen Beat etc. It worked - they were HUGE in America and #1 in the WORLD at the time of Live Aid - but when the tweenagers inevitably aged out of liking them they found themselves in a world where teens were more into New Kids on the Block and the adults didn't take them seriously because, well, they were a teenybop band. It took them a long time to regain their status as a serious band. I'm glad they stuck around!

Duran Duran has surpassed all expectations and limits - what a band. How can Duran Duran, this late in career --- be this productive, vital , fresh, and catchy ?
How? Because they've been honing their craft for decades and are incredibly talented. Careers aren't over by an abitrary decade. They go until they don't any more. True for one hit wonders, true for musicians who have decades long experience and are legends of music- i.e. Duran Duran

Love the sound of the bell on that ride cymbal. Cuts thru like nobody's business. Always thought Roger was underrated as a drummer. Always really liked his drumming in "So Red The Rose" or Arcadia for those who haven't heard them. I know all Duranies know who that is but maybe somewhere in the world someone doesn't lol.

I'm 57 been a fan of DD the day I heard them way back in the early 80s as a 17yo... Been a fan for 40years.
I love this song! I’ve been a fan since 1983. I remember all the posters I had of them up in my room from floor to ceiling! I just love Duran Duran. I saw them live this summer and it was the best concert I’ve been to. Simon still looks great! 😍
DURAN DURAN R THE MASTERS OF MUSIC AND ART...THIS GROUP OF ARTISTS NEVER STOP BEING INNOVATORS....SIMPLY AMAZING..SOME OF THE ARTISTS WE HAVE ON THE MUSIC SCENE CANT HOLD..SHALL WE SAY...A CANDLE 2 THEM...
I’m glad they’re still making music, it’s great that Andy is able to play with them again on some tracks.
Thanks guys for the great memories 🥰
Love ya
Remember when MTV just played videos?
As good a music video I ever seen!!!!
This is the first song I cannot get out of my head since "Ordinary World" And I'm all about this one. GREAT job, fellas!
The synth sound has a touch of All She Wants Is sinister sound. This is a banger of a track, Welcome back, Wild Boys.
Duran duran new wave from 1981 you still
You guys never disappoint! Thank you for all of the music! 🎶🎵🎸🥁🎹
Duran Duran is one of the few bands that, after years, has re-emerged as powerful and creative as before.
I absolutely love this song...one of their best ever!
I only came across this about ten minutes ago, and to be honest I've never seen it before.
AND I LOVE IT! 😃
Everything about it is SUPERB!
Looking forward to the premiere of the new "Danse Macabre" video! Congratulations Duran Duran on such an incredible musical journey through the years! Thanks for taking all of us Duranies along for the ride, too! 🎼🎶🎵
Love love love this new tune!!!!! Duran Duran FOREVER. ❤❤
forty years on and DD never disappoints. Always innovating, always some new rabbit out of the hat. Videos like little pieces of art. Sort of like Tim Burton meets Hellraiser. Love this! Still playing that last record, so this will be welcome. Great stuff!
Danse Macabre is a world-class music choice! Bravo, good sir!!!
This needs to be expanded into a feature-length film!
Calidad musical y modernidad por todos lados, eso demuestra que la banda no se durmió en los laureles..aplausos
I’m obsessed !!! Been listening to DD since ‘83, like a fine wine they just keep getting better and better ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Ridiculous!!!! How many more legendary bangers can the boys put out!!!...... Lucky indeed Deathtank lucky indeed
Absolutely phenomenal.. gave me goosebumps. It’s so damn good.! The song, the video …everything!
This is amazing!! Duran Duran has always been my favorite band and the fact that they brought out music especially for Halloween only makes me love them even more....❤❤
I had to watch, now this song will be going through my head for days!!! EXCELLENT video! The graphics, artistry... everything is gorgeous. Seeinng the guys as corpses is glorious. The Danse Macabre is well represented here.
Class act...... As they have been since 1981 !!
Барабаны Роджера прекрасны, такой плотный звук! Джон как всегда гениален на басу, Ник великолепен, вокал Саймона свеж ( хотя реп точно не его кредо). В итоге как всегда крепкая работа дюранов, новаторская!
Definitely!
this video is wow wow wow cant stop watching it duran duran best band on band on planet earth
