Lyrics:
Ooh, somethin's got a hold on me now
It's a feelin', burnin' like a lover on fire
Hold me tight, baby
Don't leave me by myself tonight
'Cause I don't think I can make it through the night
I think I'm in love
And my life's lookin' up
I think I'm in love
'Cause I can't get enough (no, no, no)
I think I'm in love
It's gotta be love
Who's listening in '24!? 🙂
Hell yeah. Eddie is gone but his music will live on for me the rest of my life.
What?
No voice like Eddie

This is a perfect 80s rock and roll jam.
RIP Eddie.
Classic Rock Video.
RIP Eddie Money, a class act all the way, who paid his dues. He deserves to be in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame! Vote for him!🎷🎷🎷
This is Eddie Mahoney, one of my best friends. RIP brother. Eddie Money was his stage name.
He was a cop also¿
Time to nominate Eddie money to the rock and roll hall of fame!! Move your asses ❤😂🎉😅❤❤❤❤
LEGEND.
Your lucky to have known him personally
Not many people know this ,but Eddie Mahoney was a New York City Police Officer for 2 years before he became a rock star... knowing this I enjoyed his music even more. I listened to his music at Fort Sill ,Oklahoma, when I was taking my A.I.T training to be a 31 Victor 10....in 1983.
Man the 80s had great music.
Eddie gone too soon but his music will live forever ❤❤❤ R.I.P Eddie
Eddie Money has died at the age of 70. He died September 13, 2019. RIP Eddie. Thanks for all the music.
He will be missed by many 😥😇♥️
i did not even know, he was one of my heroes
Shamrock 1961, EDDIE MONEY STILL LIVES ON!! TEARS 😭 RIP EDDIE!!!!
Guadalupe Marroquin I didnt know neither
By playing his music, he still lives through all of us ....
I graduated in 1985. Besides the birth of my son in 93 High School was the best time of my life. I had 3 great friends we were always together doing something fun. It's sad how life happens and tears you apart. We would hang out at the skating rink listening to songs just like this one and chasing the girls. I need a time machine to take me back to 1983.
For those that missed living in the 80's, you missed out on so much. It was a great time that will never be duplicated.
Amen 🎉
Absolutely 💯.
I was born in 89 :(
Amen to that . Words can't explain it . You had to live it . 70s we're good but 80s magical . It was a Gift .
Please don't make me hate being born in 96 =(
THIS IS What You Call REAL. ROCK N ROLL hell yea
RIP Eddie Money. You mattered to those of us that achieved musical awareness in the 80's.
1970s...
Another music legend gone.
So sad 😢 to hear about the loss of this iconic Musican . He made some amazing songs. May he rest in peace 🙏🙏💔💔. My condolences go out to his family 🙏🙏🙏🌹 🌹 FOREVER LEGENDARY TIMELESS CLASSIC ❤️❤️💞💕💯💯

Rest In Peace Eddie Money, one of the coolest rockers Ever.
Yesss
So true!!! Big regret was not seeing him play live. Loved his music though and play it often. Miss the music from the 80s and how simple things were. Memories. 🎶😎🎶
Wow! I didn't know he died, nor did I realize how old he was. Seventy in 2019 (Wiki). That seems so young now days.
Never bought any of his albums, but sure loved his stuff on the radio.
RIP Mr, Mahoney.
@@heatherc0823 hi

As successful as he was, I think he was still under rated and appreciated. He had pretty hot soul to him.
Happy heavenly Birthday Eddie... thanks for the great rockin music and cool guitar licks.
RIP Eddie Money. Your songs were part of the soundtrack of my high school years. Such good memories. This was my favorite of your songs.
Mine too💜
Same
Absolutely. A fantastic talent. I'm happy to have met him at a concert March 2015
Shelley Meloy Same here 💯 you said my thoughts exactly!
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍, because I could only click the thumbs up button once.
I took an extra lap around my neighborhood before pulling into my driveway just so I could hear the rest of this wonderful jam perfectly conveying exactly how I felt after a particularly stellar date with my girlfriend. I don't know how Eddie managed to expertly capture that feeling in fewer than four minutes' worth of rock song, but he did it so well that it still fits the feeling nearly forty years on. Severe respect to the Money Man himself. Let the younger generations find this and share that incredible feeling. May his work endure effortlessly.
I loved listening to Eddie Money. Life was simpler then! R.I.P Eddie. Thank you for all the great times!
Nobody cares. Quit bragging to strangers on the internet.
30 years later and this song still kicks my ass!!
rest in peace Eddie! thank you for your amazing music!
He was best hof
He sang in may and all his greatest hits and played the sax he was not feeling well but he saw all his fans get excited for him to perform what a great man.
right on
Put The Money Man in the R & R Hall of Fame already. I mean really. The Long Island Hall set the stage. C'mon, he deserves it.
WTF I can't believe he hasn't been inducted yet 😠 R.I.P. to Eddie Money! New York City lost a true legend!!!
They should have inducted him while he was alive so he would know it!
2023 and this still works...
One of the greatest Classic Rock songs ever performed and recorded. RIP Eddie Money Musical Genuis.

Sending prayers and well wishes to Eddie for his healing and recovery from cancer #fuckcancer
This is my favorite. I will miss Eddie Money.
2023, never get tired of this music
One of the best voices rock has had. He and Paul Rodgers, raspy, bluesy, so much better than the likes of Rod Stewart. These guys were overlooked, as are so many diamonds in the rough.
This is when the M stood for Music in MTV.
T Moody Music Television! What a concept.
T Moody Yeah more like Media now lol

RIP Eddie...
I'm 52 yrs old now. In 2001 I won 2 tickets to see Eddie Money in concert on 97.5 WABB here in Mobile Alabama. He was playing at the Treasure Bay Casino in Biloxi Ms.
I've got to say that Eddie's soundman had him sounding as good a listening to a CD.
After the concert, Eddie came out & did a meet & greet & actually took time to talk to all us fans.
When we talked to him, he thanked us for coming out & buying his merchandise.
My wife bought a t-shirt of his & he signed it for us, then we took pictures...Eddie Money was a Class Act!!!
My wife still has that t-shirt in her closet...that night was an ABSOLUTE AWESOME NIGHT that we'll probably never forget.
I felt like we were back in 1982 & in 7th grade that night!!!
Much love from Mobile Alabama.
Rest in peace buddy loved ya forever.this is truly a loss for me amd the rest of the world.
Rest in Peace Eddie, thank you for the awesome music
Hello Sherri, how are you doing, hope I can have your email address,so we can get to know more about ourselves,if you don’t mind!
I wanna go back to the 80s, when music was good and life wasn't so hard. RIP dear Eddie, you will never be forgotten ...
Well for me the music was great the movies were great but my life wasn’t oh so great!! Picked on and bullied at school and on the bus, but generally it wasn’t as bad as how kids nowadays get bullied!!
NancyPiglosi666. piglosi me too but it isn't going to happen. 😢🤦♀️
NancyPiglosi666. piglosi please let me go with you ..I'm thinking you don't like liberals .lol love your user name .I hate fancy Nancy as well ..
OH WOW..I agree 100%!!!
That was also my most favorite song of his... "I wanna go back!!!"
The 80's were the ABSOLUTE BEST!!!
I wanna go back and do it all over but I can’t go back I know.
What a masterpiece one of the most underrated artist
Very underrated

Amazingly well said.

Well said my friend
I'd forgot how great this song is. You will be greatly missed but you will never be forgotten by the millions of fans who love your music. I'm clearly getting old because I keep losing my childhood favorites. RIP and enjoy rocking out on those streets of gold.
This was my dad's favorite song. He passed away just this past Christmas on Christmas day. When I listen to this song it reminds me of when I was little, probably like 4 or 5 and my dad would play this song and we would all sing along.
Eddie, Thank you for protecting us as an NYPD Police Officer!
“Think I’m in Tears ...........” RIP
Me too 😭😭😭
I saw you in concert back in 2001. You were fabulous then, and unforgettable you will always be!! Thanks for the music!! RIP, Edward Joseph Mahoney.

Rip Eddie. You rocked the 80’s!
This song popped into my mind today. Hearing it again for the first time in years. I forgot the banging bass lines in it.
As a passionate bass player i agree!!! I just strapped it on snd WHAT A RUSH TO PLAY!!!!
Super cool 😎
Born in 1965 and still here jamming in 2019.. The 80's music will never be matched..
It is impossible to listen to Eddie and not just want to move and smile.
ho, no
It's impossible to listen to Eddie & not fall in love with him all over again.
Omg!
He looks so earnest in those on-stage portions of the vid'. Completely. ADORABLE.

R.I.P. Eddie Money. Your music will live forever!!!!
Rest Easy in Jesus 🙏💔🙏 Eddie Money 😥💔 my condolences to the family 😥😥😥
His voice is undeniably cool as hell. The main guitar riff and bass line in this song is so simple yet so unbelievably good. One of my favorite 80s rock songs ever
I never appreciated this song when I was young, but now I realize how cool it is.
You can't go wrong with Eddie money. This is real music. His songs are some of the best that you can find.
RIP....thanks for the awesome music. Eddie got a one way ticket to paradise.
When music videos actually had content, telling a story.....
Hello Elizabeth, how are you doing, hope I can have your email address,so we can text and get to know more about ourselves,if you don’t mind!
@elizabeth smith
Ain't that truth???
I'm ashamed to say that I wasn't born in the 80's, I'm actually from 1999, but thanks to my mom I could get to know amazing videos and songs from that decade...
There are more recent songs and videos that are similar yet different. They may be hard to find but I have been fortunate to find them. Have you heard of Marc Scherer? He recorded one album with Jim Peterik (formerly of Survivor) then one with guitarist Jennifer Batten. Jimi Jamison has had some good videos he appeared in, some solo and some with Survivor or other bands.
@@PatrickLongworth thanks, pal!!!
I'll try to look for them!!!
There was video? Had my eyes closed.
the 80s was the bomb, nothing but a wild party. money, girls, cars, hell yeah.
CLIFF, DR. DETROIT, LYNCH just like the 60s and 70s as well if youre that old
You should have tried the 70s AND 80s! All the biggies of the 80s had already become stars in the 70s.

Takes me back to 1982. Better time.
For some kick butt rock...look no further than the 80's.
I miss the 80's! They were SO FUN! Cheesy as all hell but so fun!

Emily not as cheesy and shitty as todays music
hirskdubbi I meant cheesy in a good way. I loved the 80's I had a blast!! Best music ever.
danish siddiqui very cool! I was born in 72. I love it when the younger generations like the 80's!
danish siddiqui that was a great song and you hit the nail on the head about the whole plastic thing that was genius :-)
R.I.P. man, this was one of my favorite 80s videos. Loved your music.
Haven't heard this for a minute. Good song. Brings back good ol' memories
Im 43 yrs and have always and will always play nothing but the amazing incredible mighty 80s! That's all i play when i get up in the morning and hop into my car to go to work, i start with A-Ha - Take On Me and end with Eddie Money going back home from work! From New Wave to 80s Hair Metal rock to 80s Freestyle to Oldskool Hip-Hop to everything in between! Throw in tears for fears everybody wants to rule the world . I'm 52 didn't like the song when I was younger but now I think it's a masterpiece.
Right on brother
Oh yeah summer of 82..remember when all the early videos had the intro like his? Good song
this song friggin rocks....so much better than most of the garbage that passes off as music today.
Arent you dying to hear 50 cents or Justin Bieber remake this classic? ha
***** me and my friends are all born after 87 and love the money man and just saw him in concert I'm Los Angeles. That said, there are alot of good young artists making music today. It's not all bad. If you put effort into discovering new music like you did when you were younger then you would find some good stuff and not just complain about the mainstream corporate pop stars that are spoon fed to the masses.
I'm blessed to have seen him in concert when I turned 25. Many moons ago. RIP
I was a long haul truck driver, I wore Eddies cassettes out. RIP
RIP Eddie Money 1949-2019
Songs I liked from him:
1. I think I'm in love
2. Two tickets to paradise
3. Take me home tonight
A great song nobody knows by him is Don’t Say No Tonight. Came out in 90’s. My favorite
I want to go back is 👍
Maybe because this is underplayed but I prefer this one. The others are played next to Bon Jovi and AC/DC and Led Zeppelin.
don't forget "I wanna go back"
Forgot "Baby Hold On" and "Shakin'"
LOVE 💕 THIS like an Old locomotive 🚂 flying down Rocky mountain tracks without BRAKES at 150 + MPH
I WANT MY MTV AND VH-1. IT'S 2023 WHO OUT THERE IS STILL LISTENING TO THIS CLASSIC 80'S SONG?
R.I.P. EDDIE ❤
Former NYPD cop that went full bad a** and ruled the airwaves for a couple decades. Good lord, I loved growing up as a teenager in the 80's! My kids didn't understand it when I tried to explain it to them....but I played this and many others constantly in my truck as they were growing up. Thankfully, it made a difference because many years later, so many of those songs made it on their playlists.
RIP😭😭😭😭😭😭 all those great singers are dying (well obviously, It's called life) but... It's kinda sad.
@@rossnr100 oh yes!😭😔
Rest in Peace. This is the song that brought my attention to his music.
