I've been to many places like this. I just come across these big tents where they're making food on the side of the street. I can honestly say these wonder ppl make food just like my abuelita. It brings me to my childhood every time. The taste, the smell...its an emotional experience for me because my abuelita's food was always made with care and love.
Authentic Mexican food is in a standing of it's own, it's really good, especially how it's being cooked, I've learned a lot about cooking it myself at home.
I miss my home state. God it sucks to be in New York. I seriously want to move back just for the abundance of great mexican food. You can't beat a killer carne asada burrito on a late friday night.
After living in Thailand for 7 years (& continue to live here) what I noticed most about this video that made me smile are paper plates. Wow! Paper!!! Here in Thailand we use single-use plastics for everything - even hot food and drinks! Why? It's cheaper.

Inflation has been very real with the taco trucks. Before the Covid-19 pandemic, taco truck burritos in my area were five to 6 dollars now they are all around $10.

Best burrito in L.A. is a very subjective subject. L.A. has so many really good "hole in the wall" Mexican food joints and food trucks that for every person who likes this place there will be 50 other people that like the food at one of many Mexican food joints better. It is and always will be impossible to get a majority of Angeleno's to agree that one Mexican food place has the best Taco or Burrito etc. Just reading some of the comments has reminded me that I haven't been to King Taco in awhile and really need to get my taco fix from them again much sooner than later. I was also reminded that I haven't been to that falling down shack in Hollywood that is the home of Cactus Taco and some heavenly shrimp taco's in a long time as well. There are so many really good Mexican food joints in L.A. There will always be a a variety of opinions and disagreements but there is one thing that most of us Angeleno's will agree on....the variety is what makes L.A. a great place for some great Mexican food. So agree to disagree and enjoy the bounty of truly great Mexican food that can be found all over the southland. I think I hear Cactus taco calling my name right now.

First , They use canned beans from Smart & Final. Most of the meat is cooked in lard! the best tacos are “Al vapor” or when they use the grill! (Carne Asada on the grill tastes much better than when its fried in lard).
