Ive been running a franklin BFS3 on my .300blk build for a couple years now. With some dedication on the range, the control is as good as the shooter allows it to be. Super stoked to see how that training translates on the GS173.
Works great with a brace. Can confirm. Mine is running a G34 barrel with porting past the slide. Very smooth firing multiple rounds or mag dumps that way. They're coming out with a 40SW version for a G22. I'm not as excited about 40SW but I will be running a 357 SIG barrel in binary mode.
You could technically do the same with the G17 version of it. Just change your ejector, extractor & barrel from 9mm to 40sw or 357 & presto!!! Just make sure to use the right mags for reliability
The whole shooting segment shows us getting double alpha hits at speed even at distance 🤣 we aren't even that good of shooters and were able to easily accomplish this lol that might be a skill issues
@@ARFCOMReviews Ok, but after how many rounds of off-camera training was the on-camera talent finally able to nail those double-As at speed and distance consistently? I like triggers to be Gas On / Brake Off, not, Gas On / Bra ... Gas On / Brake Off. But that's just me. YMMV. And in a stressed situation - when you don't want that second "bang" and forget you're going to get a second bang when you release the trigger to move to reset, that's going to be a quite a nasty day for someone or something. Could be downrange - or it could be the shooter.
@@ARFCOMReviews That's what I mean. I have tried a G17 with a Chinese giggle switch (in another country where it was legal of course) and it was ridiculous. Other than drive-by rabbit hunting it ain't real practical.
@@ARFCOMReviews unfortunately i also don’t think it would work in a chassis unless made specifically for it since the giggle switch is on the side of the slide 😅
Only for Gen 3 but has the serrations and slide cutout for ambidextrous slide release and beveled front face of a Gen 5!? This is silly. Like why make this for a gun that was 2 generations ago? When we have a Gen 5? I’m not understanding the marketing behind this unless they’re using the product as test trials of an older gen first! Ambidextrous slide release cuts are useless on a gen 3. This is stupid lol… I like the idea/product though 🤣

The system in the right hands is incredibly fast!
My assessment was similar. It's surpisingly controllable, but I believe one must be a decent shooter to begin with.
Hello friend 🥰
@@ARFCOMReviews Howdy!
Thanks for the comment! We need to mag dump into trash sometime soon!
@@ARFCOMReviews Yes! Come out to Oregon or have me out to Texas

Dude! In 40 or 10mm this would be hot

G21 version for suppressor use
G20 version for 10mm and 9x25 Dillon fans (all five of us).

I'm waiting for the forced reset triggers. They're already being worked on.
That would be rad
Calling this a switch is a insult to an actual switch
I pay taxes and know my dad so this counts 🤣
You know what would be even cooler? If they made it in 10mm auto.
That and in a flux Raider chassis
@@ARFCOMReviews at least in a Gen4, so I can have in on my Heavy Flux kit.

It seems more useful than an actual FA switch.
It's actually really controllable surprisingly

Fun,toy train like it is real.
It is definitely a force multiplier inside of 15 yards, but it would do much better with a brace/stock.
It looks angry. 🤓

why does it have to cost double the price of the glock itself... sad face
It is definitely expensive 🥲

Yeah, my hopes is that Strike Industries makes a Bravo chassis for it or maybe Flux. That would work better than most of the others on the market
@@MoistSmok I feel like it would work well with a recover tactical brace or maybe the Flux Brace. Def not a Micro Roni
