That SCT frame has its slide catch release spring installed incorrectly. You can see the wire hanging beside trigger and its not sitting flat without touching slide.
I’ve had 4 daggers and I ordered my first grit grips frame the other day but man I do love the way the sct frames look even though I have heard they are rough on the hands after all day shooting
6:20 that's my CA19 right there, I'm currently hoping to upgrade the upper slide for one that can fit an optic, so suggestions are more than welcome 🙏 😊
Thanks for watching. For optic ready cuts theres always Dagger slides. They won't be the absolute cheapest but their price is good and have a great warranty. I have a few Dagger slide videos!
I have several CA19 frames and like them. I purchased a complete kit with the CA slide metal sights. The rear sight would not fit sight channel, after breaking a sight tool I used a polymer rear sight. The mounting hole for the forward sight was way out of spec and it’s hard to keep the front post centered. I notice in the video your forward sight appeared to be off center also.
I have the Full size Dagger S frame and the Combat Armory frame... I like the Dagger full size with G19 slide, gives it a G45 feel. The Dagger frame will not take a Glock trigger housing or locking block, as the Combat Armory frame will! Another thing I like about the Combat Armory frame is they use the same pins as Glock, not them roll pins in the Dagger frames. I got my frame stripped so I used OEM Glock Mag release spring, not spongy at all! Grit Grips frame is next up for me, I have their aluminum magwell on Dagger frame and makes that fit just right! Awesome video on the comparisons, thank you!
Always loved the Glock 26 and 19 generation 3, 4 , & 5; and recently Glock released the Glock 49 MOS which is 19 frame with 17 length slide. I prefer the SCT frames far as 19 frame clones most generation 3 though.
I really want a grit grips, but I really dont want a short fat grip. Maybe dagger S with finger groove removal is the way to go until GG release a full size frame? I am worried about the roll pins, because I have a trigger and OEM parts I want to drop into it. Nice video.
@@______4790 The Grit Grips is REALLY good but I don't think they're coming out in a G17 size anytime soon. (I think the 43x is next) I didn't mind the finger bump too much on the larger Dagger size, but it had to go on the smaller size. Roll pins gonna roll pin tho. Thanks for watching!

Combat Armory although perfectly legal will not ship the serialized CA19 to a FFL in New York State. I found this out after trying to buy it from their website. Nothing about boycotting NY State was on their website at the time
It’s the morally correct situation just don’t supply guns to the people in those states they either need to change who they vote for or move no reason to have my company be sued by the city of ny
All good options depending on what you like. I prefer the combat armory frame with aim surplus slides, Zaffiri barrels and parts kits. The combination of that frame and slide makes a lightweight gun similar to a shadow systems.
Objectively, the Grips is the most functional and well made grip with the most usable features. Second would be SCT, third Combat Armory, and the clear loser is PSA. And since you're not aware of why some Glock aftermarket grips do and don't properly fit Glock holsters. It's the rail, not the trigger guard. The SCT and PSA rails are taller than the Grit Grips and Combat Armory.
Hey its Rtt! I completely agree! Psa uses black oxide parts witch rust almost instantly here in florida. Sct and gg use nickel witch is far superior. Why does nobody compare internals! Thats the most important thing imo.
