It's interesting how Differin was so quick to release so many different skincare products after the FDA approved their topical retinoid.

They are owned by Galderma or the creators of Cetaphil. It’s not too surprising for them to market new products under the Differin label, helping it givethat Rx-quality halo on other products.

This channel has helped me not only make a skincare routine for the first time ever but one that actually works and that I can understand my angry sebaceous filaments due to this kind, hard-working woman. @L C two years ago I stopped wearing foundation. used gentle cleanser only and faithfully applied "Drmtlgy tinted moisturizer spf" . my pores gradually grew bigger , the melasma came back and it was wet/ smearing on phones , clothes, face masks 😷
I am now alternating and some days mixing mineral sunscreens. Why? For two reasons: I want to cover the melasma if I go out. So I use tinted sunscreen but they come in shades of mineral pigments that can be slightly an off color.
The other reason is dryness! zinc is drying but will keep pores from enlarging.
CeraVe hydrating sheer tint spf 30 is the least drying out three sunscreens I have. Great price and easy to find in stores.
Australian Gold tinted mineral lotion spf 50 is the most drying out of all. You should mix it with another spf or a moisturizer.
Nivea tinted mineral spf 15 with Vitamin E is the newest that I have. An Spf 15 is low so I only use it while staying out of the sun. One thing I noticed is it was not easy to buy in the U.S. after the small bottle is finished I won't repurchase.
The next that I want to try is Supergoop mineral. Yet it hasn't been out very long. While I finish the Nivea spf there should be more reviews.
One thing I plan to keep using in rotation is the CeraVe. I recommend trying it.
      Do you wear make up?
What country do you live in?

    • @carolyneryan7152
      @carolyneryan7152 3 роки тому +1

@@LilBoPeep777 I’m in the tropics. I wear make up as often as I do not, and it’s not very heavy. I tried the carave AM moisture and it is good except that it’s only 30 spf. Occasionally I go swimming And I use a good neutrogena sheerzinc spf50. My body stays cool in the water and I wear sufficient sunscreen. No matter how good my skin routine is, it all goes downhill here. Just one suncreeen filled hour outdoors and the melasma returns as stark and dirtier looking as ever. Tinted sunscreen moisture seems to be scarce in my zone. I guess it’s no sun for me.

I’m glad I found this! Planning to purchase. Can I use this before Cerave Resurfacing Serum at night?

Sadly she’s talking about the serum that had hydroquinone in it. It was banned a few months ago and it’s not available over the counter anymore :( Differin still offers it but they reformulated it and now it has niacinamide instead

Dr. Dray will hydroquinone products be only by prescription soon? Will we be able to purchase it over the counter?

Are you familiar with the product Faded by a company called Topicals? Interested in your thoughts. Not specific to this topic of treating dark spots, but in general for mild redness or uneven tone. Thanks for all of the great info! Much appreciated!

I was looking into that product as well for my hyperpigmentation from acne. The ingredients seems almost too good to be true.

Hi! Super helpful video, thank you. I am a Fitzpatrick type 1 with sensitive skin. Should I use this in isolated areas of PIH from ingrown hairs and acne? I promise to wear sunscreen. Thank you!!

So I use panoxyl to clean my face, then use differin acne gel, then the differin moisturizer +30spf in the morning and at night, at what point should I use the dark spot corrector? And is my routine good or not good enough?
