@@vallerianredha8822 it’s still different than using pure lemon juice, because as a professional brand they legally have to balance the PH of the formula even if low for an acidic exfoliator, besides these mainstream brands mostly use certain ingredients for story telling and marketing reasons, the lemon could be less than 0,1%, or the essential oil which is liposoluble and used only for odor masking of other functional ingredients.

I swear with your upload schedule and choice of topics, it's like you're reading my mind! Definitely in touch with the public's skincare interests. I've only recently even realized I have rosacea, so I've been searching for the perfect niacinamide product that won't irritate my skin. Unfortunately, Cerave PM AND Cerave's purple night cream haven't been working well for me anymore after starting Differin. Tragic burning sensation. Definitely going to try the Cosrx as well as the Inkey List "serum", as the ingredients make it seem pretty well-rounded as a general moisturizer. As always, thanks for all you do and your commitment to daily uploads. I'm sure I'm not the only one that loves it~

So, I've been watching both Idriss and Dray videos, and I appreciate their different perspectives on many things such as whether niacinamide is better in a serum or moisturizer. I think Dray's probably right that it functions just as well in a moisturizer. However, I'm still considering a 5% serum like Super Pure because I don't want to be limited with my moisturizer options. It just seems simpler not to have to tie my moisturizer/sunscreen decision to whether or not it includes niacinamide. It would be my only morning serum, so no crazy layering going on. I think the 5% serums have their place.

Niacinamide is great! I don't have access to most of the products Dr Dray recommends but I try to follow the tips she gives. One of the products I have been using is Nature Republic's Pure Cherry Blossom Toner and its fourth ingredient is niacinamide (the entire line has niacinamide pretty high up in the ingredient list) and it helped with my hyperpigmentation and general brightening effect on my complexion. If you're not sensitive to fragrance (the scent isn't overpowering, it's pretty subtle) or plant extracts I really recommend the entire line! It's pretty affordable too.
