@@danieleriksson5587 I couldnt agree more, bro managed to reconquer and pacify Gaul and Hispania in a span of a few months and was already preparing a massive invasion fleet for Africa as well as fixing diplomatic ties and securing financial support from the East. Majorian was truly the most tragic Western Emperor of all time and a great hero in a time of degeneracy and decline.

@@LEGATVS The song is named "The Last Sled" by Tuomas Holopainen (composer/song writer from the band Nightwish).
It is one of many songs from Tuomases very first solo album called "Music Inspired by the Life and Times of Scrooge".
He made it as a tribute for the cartoon artist Don Rosa who had made punch of Donald Duck comics which are HUGE here in Finland.
Don Rosa has so many fans here in Finland that he decided to make one Donald Duck comic taking place in Finnish mythology Kalevala.

I am happy now so many people know about the true story of Scrooge Mc Duck. Though according to Don Rosa, the last adventure of his would not end with his actual death, but his literal death, in the sense that he would be killed for all the other characters (like falling of a cliff), who would never find his body but bury him in a cenotaph, while Scrooge would go to Yukon and pass his last years (a decade I suppose) with Goldie.
My headcanon is that the heir of Scrooge were both Donald and his nephews, with the former inheriting the Money Bin and all its contains, and the latter the vast economic empire, which they would divide in three. And that essentially, after all these adventures, Donald Duck would basically become a new Scrooge, who would treasure this money, representing his memories of protecting it, just like Scrooge did for representing his memories of amassing it!

    • @qwertyqwerty-ek7dy

Justinian is the figurehead and it is only natural. Agrippa, even though he was probably even better than Caesar as a general doesn't get the glory. Instead we remember Augustus. But those are men of action, they live for the moment. But hey, if you've been among history circles you'll see a lot of people also blaming Justinian for bankrupting the empire, basically damaging the city of Rome even more with his reconquests and letting Italy exposed for invasions.

No I don't, but I could make one, though I don't think I can replace that video file with the one currently uploaded. It is a shame but when making this I didn't think anyone would see it anyway so quality control wasn't at the top of my priority list.

I think the "reconquest" of Rome was more like the "fall" of Rome, since it weakeaned the emepire, spent lots of resources, and made Rome a shadow of its old glory. The city of Rome was reduced and The Ostrogothic Kingdom continued Roman insitutions. And the Byzantine/Eastern Roman Empire at the time was slowly becoming less Roman in culture and more Greek.
