I glad i could do you justice!
I feel the same haha you put it perfectly
As a catholic, let us pray brother! (That one character from ICarly reference, gibby)
Amin ☦️☝️❤️
As a greek I feel you
England booing you from their island was hilarious to me
Makes ones eye teary of such a glorious thing. Kinda wish you'd recorded everything so we could've witnessed every battle. Great work!
18:46
I've rewatched this part so many times. It's beautiful.
Hungary: "What are you doing with that army friend?"
Pilps: "I'm sorry little one..."
There were the old Romans and the souvlaki-moussaka Romans of Byzantium. Syrtaki music playing in the background while the Byzantines try to reclaim the Roman Empire. Opa!
Whenever I see moving wojaks, I'm always afraid the animator is about to go on a killing spree. At least this time, it's digital.
Haha 😂
Time to go into the nearest enemies worship place
These videos just keep getting longer and longer.....
I love it!
WE WILL MAKE BYZANTIUM GREAT AGAIN!
Amazing video, had so much fun watching! Belisarius would be very proud of you sir.
Now if you'll excuse me, I have an empire to restore
Thank you glad you enjoyed it!
Had the byzantines survived longer, you bet your ass they'd figure out gunpowder
I can't believe i've been watching this for 30 mins and enjoying this much.
Great presentation and cinematic takes, you have talent.
Every Byzantine Campaign Early Goal: Surviving in an isolated start position sandwiched by enemies
Every Byzantine Campaign Late Goal: There once was a dream that was Rome
There once was a dream....and it was called Rome
Beautiful
BEFORE THE WATCH: Holy shit FINALLY. My favorite historical Empire ever, the honest old Byzantine legacy or Rome, the "Cool Romans" as I think of them as, and it's a "Experience" game too! I am so going to see this 3 times over :P
Edit: So many lovely moments artillery-sniping a king, and holding against that many Timurids have got to be the apex!
I love these videos. Also love the War hammer 40k voice line hahaha
I think this was the best total war video I've watched on youtube, I have like no attention span but I sat here and watched this without distraction, so good dude
Thank you so much! Glad you enjoyed it
Love the editing, you are great at what you do!
Thank you for the kind words!
your vids always get me so hyped to play medieval 2 again :)
Thank you for the kind words and do it! Conquer all for Byzantium!
By the grace of God, I absolutely love Medieval 2.
I love how cinematic the whole video is (including the memes xD), I LOVE IT!
dude I was like
" I swear if Rome gets sacked...BY THE ROMANS I'm gonna flip" and the mad lad fucking did it I love you you absolute memetic bastard XD
Old as these are some of these original total war games still look pretty amazing.
0:46 how we all feel
The boldest move in this video was allying the turks
At least i pounded them eventually aha
And to have achieved all that in the highest difficulty, BEFORE gunpowder was invented, all the while maintaining a wicked sense of meme humour. Quite fun to watch, nicely done Sir!
THIS CITY(ROME) WAS ONCE THE JEWEL OF OUR KINGDOM. A CITY OF LIGHT AND MUSIC AND BEAUTY, AND SO IT SHALL BE ONCE MORE! NEVER AGAIN, WILL THE LAND OF OUR PEOPLE FALL INTO ENEMY HANDS! - Boromir if ykyk
That was some truly epic campaign ! Thank you !!
I am so glad someone’s playing total war medieval II. Brings back so many memories 🥲
Thank you! It truly is one of the greats!
Your welcome 🙏 also here’s a tip so get the ram at the door and put all the soldiers to the walls and when you brake open the door you can flood the city/castle instead of having to get your soldiers all the way to the door when you brake it.
@@Mrwaffleman24
One of the best games I've ever played
@Alan M J Same. I like it because I am not a huge Fantasy Fan I like more of the historical stuff.
@@Mrwaffleman24
I even loved the expansion.
They one of exception I have with fantasy is third age mod.
I love that mod
This is... BEAUTIFUL!
Damn, that was epic. I never have the patience to finish the long campaigns. This is inspiring. I am subscribed now.
These exp series are so emotional. I am so invested. Thanks, Pilps for simple, yet great content.
Yes, another total war pilps episode! Poggers as always.
Aaaayyyyeee
Ah yes, Justinian would be proud
FOR THE EMPEROR!
Hey @@Pilps! Are u planning on some republican run on FoTS?
Thanks for responding
Is no one going to point out the fact that the enemy general at 15:16 is named Villanus the Cruel? Like, could you be less subtle? It's like a Saturday morning cartoon villain name.
Game: Nooo the Byzantine empire lacks gunpowder as a weakness
Pilps: Haha Eastern Orthodox gun go boom
Nobody :
Purple dye maker : i see this as an absolute win
Brooo very good video, I'm also playing a campaign with the Byzantine empire, they're awesome 👌🏻
Yes they are! Thank you, glad you enjoyed it! :)
@@Pilps how do you do to have so much money on campaign?
all I can think of is, they fought hard...they kept fighting back, again and again and again they kept getting back up and trying to prevent what happened in the end, if only fellow Europeans had watched their backs. By the time Serbia and Wallachia and others tried to work together with them it was already too late, they realized too late that they shouldn't have fought each other and they were just outnumbered and it was disastrous defeats.
absolute masterpiece as always :D
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it!
Glad you got your Channel back. Now i finally can rewatch your videos every so often and after im done boot up total war to play 20h.
Thank you for the kind words!
lol i love how at 04:27 the diplomat's name is essentially smelly mosquito :D great video yet again!
Another amazing video! The amount of hard work and effort you put into these videos are insane! Much respect! Keep it up. I hope you continue to play this game! Maybe try big daddy scotland.
Wish they gave Byzantines the full ending the other majors like HRE and England have.
chad byzantium vs virgin ottomans
Varangian Guards and Greek Firethrowers go BRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!
A part of me, just smiled, watching this. Seeing the return and resurgence of the Roman Empire, it truly is beautiful to watch.
The ending we deserve but never got 🥲
@@Pilps These are events which in our timeline never happened because in this other world you created, the Byzantine- No the Roman Empire, Held Firm.
Absolutely fantastic storytelling shags!
