1st the “sport” mode yes opens the muffler up some but is MORE about re-mapping the air to fuel ratio making it faster. Lastly it sounds like is should stock. Sounds like either of my Porsches on stock mode. But track mode they’re LOUD as a MO FO!!!
Nice whip. I have one too. Sounds better without the resonators. Scratch my head though because the stock exhaust sounds just as good as the non-OEM exhaust. It needed the resonator delete!
I’m currently in a 230i. Not sure why BMW has very quiet exhaust when they market and sell sporty cars. If it has an M badge then make it sound like an M. I can understand the average BMW being quite buy if it is a performance version then give the car the beans.
@@mustangraf any issue I have the dealer covers for the next 4 years. Also my oil changes are free for that 4 years. Additionally when you get a loan from the bank your interest late will be lower because banks hate financing used bmws. Yes the x3m or x4m will be faster but the pros don’t out weigh the cons. Plus the x1 m35 is still pretty fast.
@@Mglobal.enterprise the banks/credit unions dont care what kind of car it is unless its older than 10 years{for most} also if you do anything to the car your warranty can be voided when you take it to the dealership for maintenance
And to weld the electronic flaps off to the side!! This is hillbilly shit. And an instant drop in value. Take out one or both resonators but leave the damn muffler.
The people in the new homes that just went up across the street are going to have to listen to the exhaust addictsss!!!! so lucky😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅
Perfect sound
I'm not suprised how quiet it is even though there's either muffler delete or resonater delete. Newer cars are getting more boring by the time goes

I'd go with bronze wheels to match the tips. Plus bronze wheels on a white car looks good.
Nice work! 🤘🏻🔨😎 Sounds okay. I would have left it stock. Powder coat the wheels black.
Good but still no pops and bangs, right?
Very good results, next thing to do on my m35i👍
Nice sound for a 2.0l
❤❤❤❤ Great one!
Glad you like it!
Will this pass emissions now? I’d like to do this
As long as you don't touch the cats you will be fine for emissions
@@scottroberts5529 thanks
Needs dp and it'll be perfect. Maybe the baby reso but reso keep the drone and rasp in check
Does the bmw x1 u11 23i (218 ps) have this sports engine, brother?
@exhaustaddicts did you get any Check engine light after removing the resonators ? Or you had to make some reprog ?
No codes or check engine light on
@@exhaustaddicts but you keep the cat on exhaust right ? Only remived resonator and muffler ?

I’m in Texas but I’m going down to TN this August lol
The X1 didn’t have an enclosed center console which was a deal-breaker for me 😳
I ordered one last week partially because I liked the open storage. 😂
I have this x1 m35i 2024. And it’s too quiet. Looking to do this mod
may i ask why you went with a newer x1 instead of a 2020+ x3m or x3 m40i? they both are much faster and cheaper and get the same mpg
@@mustangraf 1 word, and please understand when I say this WARRANTY.

No on the bronze wheels. Gloss black to stick with the trim
Black wheels with bronze lug nuts
@@BAS3BALL_batso boring and basic a minivan comes with blk wheels. 😒
Bronze wheels hell no 😂😂😂 glad I got my x3 instead of the x1 to many compromises.
Honey I shrunk the bmw
Dumb to buy this car and to chop the oem muffler off

That ain't it
Who on gods earth spent their hard earned cash on this monstrosity 😂
I'd rather have this then that POS dodge ram. It's got more then enough power to blow the doors of the rams and most other pick up trucks.
@@adrienangelo3746a lot of cars are faster than trucks 😂😂
Such a ugly car / trash sounding car lol
You must be talking about the current M3 😂
