how do you get it in launch control mode?
Turn off traction fully, in the sportiest drive settings, come to a complete stop then press the brake and throttle pedals fully at the same time.
$10K-$15K (US) over a company equipped standard X1. What do you get? A bit faster, but no improvement in lag/lurch from a stop, poorer gas mileage, and no spare tire. Is the occasional fast curve worth the expense?
Not “company” equipped but “comparably” equipped. Spell checker rewrite.

Nope, just tap to lock/unlock.

Is the ride comfortable? How is it over bumps?
It is quite comfortable over bumps as you can see in the POV test drive.
Need to try it over a washboard- fells like a mild earthquake.
@@Revreport hey man, awesome review, I wanted someone to comment on the rear seat comfort and yours was the only review which detailed that, I have a quick question is this comfortable and spacious than the Merc GLA , in terms of seat comfort front and rear?
@@gordongekko3174 hey mate thanks for your support! The GLA from memory was a little more upright and tighter at the rear. The closest I’ve got to reviewing that car is the EQA, which you can find on my channel. 😄

Covering the the dirtiest area on most cars; the rear bumper, in gloss black is just a hilarious move by BMW. That's gonna get scratched to the high heavens in 1 year tops
