I have both of these watches for 2 years now and they are beautiful and built well. I've brushed out the polish on the top of the lugs and installed an oyster fully brushed bracelet with female endlinks that tapers from 20mm to 16mm at the clasp - Now it matches great. I had to use the original solid endlinks as the endlinks that came with the bracelet didn't fit. I also installed a milled Rolex style clasp with a fully functional glide lock. This watch is the best value watch for your monies. Great video 👊🏽 Happy New Year and all the best in 2022.
I like the black dial as it has more versatility over the too formal silver dial (just my opinion). Both watches are still in my possession and still ticking healthy. Thanks for stopping by🙏🏻.
Very late comment, but just wanted to rant a bit after just pulling the trigger on this one at the 11.11 AliExpress sale. The sale + a couple of coupons got it down to $45 - totally insane considering the specs and looks (I'll pay some import tax and some other fee on that, but still..). I've no idea how many weeks this will take, but I'm eagerly awaiting this one. Hopefully before Chritsmas lol. Anyways, great video and presentation! I went for the silver dial one myself since my Seiko SNKL23 already fills my need of a dressy watch with a great looking black dial. My only nitpicks for this watch would be that like Seiko's 5 models they went with day/date function even on a dressy model - would look way cleaner here with a NH35 with just date IMHO (or even a no date NH38). Also that shiny butterfly brace will probably be replaced with a nice leather strap, which suits this watch very fine. If I may be able to fit the bracelet to my tiny wrist (a lottery with butterfly clasps), I might try to brush parts of it like you did. Other than that - just ridiculous value for the specs, quality and good looks you get. Those dials are gorgeous, and I prefer these longer indicies and case size compared to i.e. the quite similar Starking model for around the same prize, even though that one is an equally great catch. OK, rant's over now lol.
Hi there. Congratulations on your new purchase with a great deal! For the arrival, usually in my case it takes about 10-14days the most, but I’m sure once you receive the watch all the time spent waiting will be worth it. For the design, I couldn’t agree more on the day/date option Cadisen went for. The watch would be a lot stunning if they went for NH35 or better yet NH38 since the dial itself is so minimalistic, with only hour indices and the absence of the minute markers, which I really like :) . I also went for the white dial at first and got curious on the black dial so I got one too. I like the white better as the day/date wheel is also white which doesn’t make colour imbalance on the watch’s face, I just wished the black has a black day/date wheel and that would be a killer piece. I rarely use the watch with the supplied bracelet, nothing wrong with it, in fact its really solid, but I think the watch is better worn in leather crock strap with butterfly deployment buckle system. Overall the watch really offers great value for its price. Both watch is still in my collection and I don’t see it leaving anytime soon👍🏻. Btw, I manage to snatch another Chinese special last 11.11, still waiting for its arrival. It’s a Loreo Submariner Smurf. With all the discount an vouchers applied, my total payment was only $35 👏🏻. I’ll do a complete review of that watch and some Seiko’s and Spinnaker’s I still yet to review. Thanks for stopping by and stay safe!
Thanks for the video! Mind explaining how you brushed the bracelet? I didn't even receive the watch yet but I feel like I won't like the overly polished look.
To start, I used a green scotch guard and a fine graded blue sandpaper to finish the brushing. It works well. Make sure you only swipe in one direction. Good luck!
Thanks. I have some Orient in my collection including the Tristsr Vega (review coming soon). Comparing Cadisen and Tristar, they’re both really good watches. Tristar wins on brand recognition. Cadisen wins on specs and value for money. If I had to choose, I’d go for Cadisen, but was curious as how Tristar will feel on the wrist, so I scored one too 😂. I might review Starking but I don’t have one yet. I’ll do a side-by-side cadisen-tristar comparison. Thanks for the suggestion. Give me a follow on IG @watchjunkie99. I post daily pics of my collection there. Makasih dan Sama2 :)

@@watchjunkie1251 Great deal on that Loreo! Looking forward to more reviews.
Did you measure the diameter yourself or just went off the website? Because the website states 40mm in case diameter. Thanks

Tossing up between black or silver
Both look really nice. Thanks for the vid👍
👏🏻👏🏻Thanks Bob!!👍🏻👍🏻🤟🏻
Great video. Which do you prefer, this Cadisen, Orient Tristar or Seiko SNK 809? Btw, maybe you can review Starking watch in the future. Terima kasih.

A great watch for the money! I have silver one and that dial is beautiful. Thanks for the review.
Yes, the silver dial is playful, I get more compliment wearing the silver than the black dial. Thanks for the comment ❤️
I bought two days ago the black one
Congratulations! It’s a good piece. If you’re not really bothered about the brand, this watch is is solid spec-wise👍🏻
@@watchjunkie1251 not at all plus I have the c8097
This is NOT a Seiko, but a chinese copy. Even if there are NH36 registered. It is a pity that people do not see and KNOW the most important thing.
Dude using fake diamond testers 😂😂
