And don’t reply with this EDM DJ wearing a Mickey Mouse Head nonsense. Clever mixers maybe but they are not Musicians.
Prince was a great Musician who wrote songs, sang and played numerous instruments well. Maybe the last one.
Absolutely the best version of hollow man as well Timothy...
Thank you to the poster this is awesome
What a bass!! Amazing Jamie Stewart!!
I agree! Jamie is on fire here. He is also sadly underrated as a bassist. His playing on "God's Zoo" and "Resurrection Joe" prove just how good he is.
@@Albrecht777 yeah Jamie Stewart was amazing..RIP Nige Preston, he was an absolute legend to me
@@GH02-o_o Nigel's drumming was always great, regardless of whether it was with Theatre of Hate, Sex Gang, or Death Cult / The Cult.
Yes!! Mesmerizing to watch. Billy is in my top 3 for fav guitarist but I have a huge appreciation for Jamie. He's incredible, especially considering he was just learning to play bass at the time of this show.
@@jeffbone8475 Jamie was definitely not "just learning to play bass at the time of this show". He'd played bass in The Cult when they were still called Death Cult since 1983. Listen to his bass on early tracks like "God's Zoo" or "Resurrection Joe". It's sizzling! Of course, he'd also already performed as bassist on "Dreamtime" and "Love" by the time of this concert, too, apart from being rhythm guitarist for Ritual before joining Death Cult / The Cult.
Ian's voice before he began abusing it! Fantastic!
Having his teeth 'americanised changed his voice that's why Freddie Mercury would never have them changed. Wish they'd play England sometime, love the cult.
🥶🥶 you cold Charles
@@annettescopes7863his teeth were rotten. He had his dental problems fixed in America. 19:14
THE GREATEST VERSION AND PERFORMANCE OF ELECTRIC OCEAN..nothing even close to it

To be 22 again. This is the Finnish summer, effing let it loose. Some years later I met Billy at the Tavastia Club, top bloke. Wish I'd known then it was he who introduced Morrisey to Marr, truly changing history. Plus that's not the easiest guitar to play these song on!
One my favorite bands. The Cult is amazing. Great songs great singer. Duffy kick ass
Love Electric ocean so much❤️
💋 Thank you for putting this out here!
They're the one band that I regret
not seeing, especially in their prime
like this.
They're on tour go see them they are kicking ass
The best line up ever!!
As good as Les Warner was. Truly.
With 2 guitars the sound was solidest.
@@richardwhite3458 Yes, the 1987 lineup was fuller.
@@acjohn6995 Fuller perhaps, but soulless and corporate. I like the space between the notes in this lineup. Depth, shade and intrigue live there. Not cockrock AC/DC pandering.
I Guess they peaked right here..Fantastic
Electric ocean ... great early version LOVE style
jamie and simon from cure always remind me of each other , they are' into' their playing if you know what i mean
Wow. To think I still get a buzz from the same songs 35 years later
So do I Paul! Their Love album is a masterpiece! ❤💜💚💖

Really good performance here.
Really good to hear the Peace version of Love Removal Machine before Rick Rubin. No Start Me Up riff, and Billy plays a great solo. Thanks for posting
Love The sounds of The gitarrs ❤️

Jamie give me Power!!! You got it
That's how you play rock bass. Vey solid indeed. I fucking love this band.
AMEN Jamie hardly gets any credit as a bass player and his a great all around performer !
@@rickjohnson8707 Outstanding show - Jamie's playing is the business ...
Pretty good sound for VHS. You can hear the bass really well.
This version of Love Removal Machine is better
La migliore band mai vista!
Been there as a youngster 17 years old
Lucky you !
Nice to hear the new songs done like the old songs before Rubin changed everything. Hearing this, I get a sense of how it could have been produced much better than the Manor sessions.
The Cult foreverr🤟🏻👋🏻👋🏻👍🏻
