Just some interesting musical observations about Tal Wilkenfeld's song, KILLING ME. It's too bad that You Tube policies won't allow the posting of Tal's performance video, but make sure you listen to her video first, or are familiar with her song so that this analysis makes sense.

I really enjoyed the analysis. I know maybe just the basics of music theory but could understand most of what you explained. It's a special song for sure - beautiful song - haven't heard anything like it. And; add to it the very complex and weird beat! And of course also the lyrics are spot on! A masterpiece! Thank you for making this video! :)

Mr. Wood, I would be grateful if you might contact me regarding your "My Guy" video. I was in a garage band (and a pretty good one at that). I have to say, however, that the video exposition on the jazz qualities of that recording was a true revelation, particularly as the tune was one of the songs that we performed very, very well.
