Not me. As a child mum made the family liver and onions quite often. 45 years later I have never cooked liver and I know it can become tough easily and I want to give it a go. Mum use to cook it in the oven whole perhaps that is why it was like chewing an old boot sometimes 😂

@@scotthoward4836the secret to cooking very tender cows liver is first remove the very thin whitish film that you get on the liver, season or very well. Cook your onions tomatoes then add the liver for very few minutes and it's done... Liver as my mother taught us should never be cooked for more than 10 mins or else it will become chewy

I usually cut the liver in strips no more than finger thick( pinky size doesn't matter what size your hands are ) for even cooking.Cut while semi frozen. Also I remove the outer membrane (thin layer of plastic looking stuff) It can become chewy if over cooked..Plus NEVER cook untill done always turn the stove off before and let it rest.. the residual heat will cook it to perfection.. TENDER never chewy.. plenty garlic.
. Btw I'm eating a bowl rite now with .50 cent noodles 😁👍..

Depends on the heat in the skillet. I cook mine for a few minutes or until it is barely past pink in the middle.
Also - most processors don't take the thin membrane off the outside of the liver before slicing - doing so after it's sliced is a lil bit of a pain but worth the effort. Also using bacon grease instead of olive oil 😍😍 !!!!!!
