There is way too little Virus content on UA-cam and the support from Access is dire, so I'm really happy to see this. How did you get the TI VST to run? I couldn't get it to work on my Mac with Cubase. Spoke to Access and they said they don't support it anymore and that I need to use the Virus as a standalone synth only. Very disappointing response from them, as part of the reason I bought it was because I remember how great and user-friendly the VST integration was.
I am glad to hear that you like these Virus programming sessions! I am using OS V5.1.1.0 (wow seven years old!) on Windows 10 and Cubase 5. I have read that Access has discontinued support for Mac users and I think Windows too. I believe the Virus isn't being produced anymore so I do not see support coming back. My one idea for you is to use another DAW as a VST plugin within Cubase. I remember using Fruity Loops many years ago within Cubase. Maybe you can load the Virus in Fruity Loops/Other Daw in Cubase? Kind of crazy and not intuitive but maybe it will work? I am not sure if you can even install the Virus software on your Mac. I hope you can find a work around.
Listening now, I could prob cut more low end off the bassy perc in my song. I don't even remember the speakers I made that on. Oh well!
