I wasn't even aware of the update, so thanks for that :). ...Call me crazy, but I kinda like & appreciate the 'limitation' some synths have sometimes, like here with the wavetable engine. Sure, doesn't hurt to have more flexibility and I get that some people would love to inject their own wavetables in it, but I kinda like the boundaries here. It forces me to be creative & only use what I have instead of spending hours swapping through 1000 wavetables. No choice, I have to use what the synth offers me. And sometimes this is what I need and want, less is more. For more complex wavetable synthesis, I already have tons of other synths for that... Anyway, cool update I really like it! Arturia is at the top of their game, no doubt.
Great demo as always. Everyone please be aware that it looks like v2 of Minifreak V may not be able to run on Windows 7. I have two PCs (Win7 for studio and Win10 for live) and now I can't use Minifreak on the WIn7 machine, unless I can find a way to revert version. It not only won't run, but it stops the DAW being able to scan for new VSTs. Would be interesting to know if anyone else has had the same issue. I'll raise with Arturia suport.
Now This is how i had expected the Mini Freak to sound like. I thought it was super cool when i first got the Mini Freak V, and one of the easiest and most fun synth to create patches with. But i lost interest in it because it never quite sounded like a Freak. Now it sounds super Freaky with those wave tables and auper Unison, and i shall go and over use this on everything
Just downloaded it now. Yeah, way more fun and crazier. The sound reminds me of a slimmed down Korg OpSix Native, one of my absolute favorite synths ever. But this guy feels like it can get meaner

I know if you buy today even mini keyboard by ARTURIA you can get all these soft things included. Is that right? And another one Erica Synths SYNTRX II ARTURIA Matrixbrute Noir Limited Edition or Waldorf Iridium? Which one will give me more Organic moods more forestish? Thank you.
From what I've read on reddit, if a lot of features available on micro weren't integrated at launch into Minifreak it's because they want the vst and the hardware to do exactly the same thing as one unified entity. So if they integrate it in one part they need to perfectly integrate it in the other part
