Hi, we are sharing a video about Petoi Bittle: Open Source Robot Kit - a Realistic Programmable AI Palm-sized Quadruped Robot Dog for STEM and Fun. You can order Petoi Bittle at www.petoi.com and program the world's first palm-sized robot dog in C/C++/Python/Scratch to do amazing tricks for STEM and fun.
Two years after the launch of Nybble, we are proud to announce Bittle! Evolving with an open-source gene, Bittle is an open platform to fuse multiple makers' gadgets into one organic system. With our customized Arduino board coordinating all instinctive and sophisticated movements, you can clip on various sensors to bring in perception. You could also inject artificial intelligence capabilities by mounting a Raspberry Pi or other AI chips through wired/wireless connections. Bittle is also a great robot dog toy that can be controlled with Petoi mobile app.
From August 24th to October 8th, Petoi Bittle finished its crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter: raising $567K from 2052 backers around the world and 11x of the original $50,000 funding goal.
Share with your friends who may love it! We need your voice to bring Bittle to life!
Join our Petoi forum at www.petoi.camp/ to share your fun with a worldwide community!
Please leave us a comment about what kinds of tricks you wish Bittle to perform. We or some of our community members may fulfill your wish.

Petoi(www.petoi.com) is the maker of affordable futuristic high-performance robotic pets. We share updates and discussions about our robotic pet project Nybble, Bittle, and OpenCat, and the open-source Arduino and Raspberry Pi based robotic pet framework. These robots can be great toys and the perfect gifts for every geek, maker, engineer, and programmer. STEM & robotics education providers, after-school programs, colleges and universities can also use Petoi educational robots and their curriculum to teach robotics and STEM education(www.petoi.com/pages/resources....
Bittle is powered by OpenCat(github.com/PetoiCamp/OpenCat), the open-source Arduino and Raspberry Pi-based quadruped robotic pet framework developed by Petoi. It has been reviewed by many UA-camrs as one of the most affordable and high performance top robots. Search for "Petoi Nybble" to see the results yourself.
Ever wonder how Petoi robots can have dynamic agile maneuverability and gaits that are performed like real four-legged animals, and artificial intelligence capabilities, check out Petoi's amazing programmable quadruped robot system at www.petoi.com/pages/petoi-pro...
Wonder about the differences between all the robot dogs? Check out the top robot dog comparison guide: Kia Robo Dog vs Real Intelligent Robot Dogs(Boston Dynamics Spot Mini, MIT Mini Cheetah, Sony Aibo(www.petoi.com/pages/robo-dog-...)

      There're 2 type of "walk"
      1) AI walk
      2) mechanical walk
This is prob the 2nd one... more like a car. ASIMO was also more like a 2nd one.
Boston Dynamics is doing the 1st one.

Their purpose is not to make mwtal waste for stupid people to trash their houses with. It's to change the dynamics of labor in where life is in danger. You would want to pay 75k for a bot if yoh were under debris or dying inside a hospital without anyone to check on you or in places where"human mess" is too toxic to tolerate.

That's awesome that it uses scratch for programing, with the right hardware you could make a pet that has different moods and different responses to commands based on what mood it's currently in, add some speech recognition and you could say good dog (cat) etc to improve it's mood, I did something similar with Scratch for Second Life when I scripted a dog I made, so it's possible in IRL with some additional hardware and software, also you can make it act like different animals and make it look like different animals which is so cool.
